Does exactly as claimed and does it well. Very useful/versatile backpack.
It’s light and adjustable, should fit all sizes, running or hill walking
It looks good and provides storage/pockets for accessories, keys etc.
I’d recommend rinsing out the water pouch overnight in case there’s any taste. Not noticeable after a couple of uses.
Pouch was easy to fill, empty and clean.
Descent enough water bladder and backpack. It probably wouldn’t stand up to too much abuse and I wouldn’t rely on this for survival but certainly for walks and runs not far from the support vehicle it’ll do the job.
This is the perfect backpack for long walks, hikes, cycling, or days out. I got the teal/green colour and it is true to image as per the listing. I wanted something a bit different to the usual black or grey backpacks and am so pleased I went for the teal one as it’s a bit different.
It comes with a bladder pouch which is really easy to set up and use, it was my first time using this sort of water system and it was a game changer! So handy for long hikes and walks, I will definitely be using it for all walks going forward. The material is very robust considering it was fairly inexpensive, I can see it lasting a long time so long it is looked after.
The only downside I’d say was that the water tasted a bit plastic from the bladder (despite washing it before use), however I’ve done some research and found that this is very normal and eventually after a few washes this will subside.
Other than that though I really recommend this back pack at a great price!
I recently received the Zounich Hydration Backpack for my handcycling sessions, and it has been an outstanding addition to my gear. The breathable design ensures maximum comfort during long rides, while the 3L water bladder provides ample hydration, keeping me refreshed without the need for frequent stops. The large capacity of the backpack allows me to carry all my essentials, including snacks, tools, and personal items. The durable and lightweight construction makes it perfect for outdoor activities like cycling, camping, fitness, and climbing. The adjustable straps ensure a secure fit for both men and women, and the black and white design adds a stylish touch. Overall, this hydration backpack has significantly enhanced my handcycling experience, and I highly recommend it for anyone seeking a reliable and versatile hydration solution.
Outer dimensions are 15″ high, 10″ wide and 4″ deep. I haven’t used the water bottle yet as the usual humid British Summer is a bit late this year. The compartment for the bottle is lined with a reflective material no doubt to keep the cool air in. There are four compartments for storage and an elasticated strap over one of the compartments which is on the back of the pack.
The shoulder and waist straps are well padded and have plenty of adjustability options. It seems well thought out. You are going to have to travel light if you are only relying upon this backpack for storage and if you need the water bottle then chances are you are either on your own or everyone with you is going to need a water bottle – so who carries the tent and the basics you are going to need ?
It is light and comfortable but probably a little bit too niche for the many who will carry an ordinary water bottle in a bigger back pack. However, for those who need to travel light and move fast it is worth a serious look.
This is a really good, versatile backpack for walking or other outdoor pursuits. I’ve used this in the Lake District for long walks and can verify it’s great for that purpose. The bladder is 3L which is bigger than my old one and the way the tube fits into different slots so it’s always in place but doesn’t flap around is a great idea. The connections are leak free and work well.
I particularly like the fact that the backpack is lined which keeps the water (and snacks/lunch for when you have a break on the tops) cooler as the heat from your back has a tendency to warm up the water in the bladder.
It has lots of the usual features I’d expect and like — the buckle across the chest to keep it together and stop it moving around, mesh to make it more breathable, great pockets on the belt, 2 of them, which are really good for phone etc storage. For summer walks with just food and drink where you don’t need full waterproofs this is an ideal replacement for a larger backpack. Highly recommended.
This in my opinion is a great hydration backpack that comes with a equally good hydration bladder. Genuinely very impressed with both parts that make up this item.
The bag is lightweight but well made with good strong stitching. It has a multitude of storage pockets and compartments and then has the main storage compartment for the bladder which has a foil lining to help keep the liquid in the bladder nice and cool (please see photos of pockets and of main compartment).
There are 2 Velcro straps in the top back of the bag for fixing the bladder in place — you then thread the tube out of either of either point where the should straps are connected to the bag. Is recommended to use the left one here though as then can clip the bottom of the pipe in the clip on the right shoulder strap meaning you can have both hands free whilst running, cycling etc and take sips without using your hands.
The bag is really comfortable to wear and as already mentioned has lots of pockets. It has a zip pocket on both side of the lower straps that connect around your lower body / waist — and I can fit my standard sized iphone into these pockets on either side no problem. There is then the front storage compartment which within it has 1 zipped and 1 open pocket (per photos). The storage compartment is not that deep but you will be able to fit a light jacket, some food, some gloves and a hat as an example. Then there is the front mesh pocket for keeping other low value items. Handily there is also a drawstring on the front of the bag which can be used to keep everything in the bag tight and from bouncing around.
The pipe push fits to the bladder and to release you just press the button to the side. To fill the bladder you just unscrew the big tightener at top middle and fill and resecure. The drinking end of the tube has a dust cover and the part you put in your mouth is soft so is comfortable.
I absolutely recommend this bag and can’t wait for the better weather to arrive so I can start using it on long bike rides and who knows, possible even a long run!
For a budget hydration pack, this one is more aimed at cyclists and is actually pretty good – the best budget one I have had of 3.
The water bladder is not as thick as a branded one, but is better than others, and the hose is both insulated with neoprene and has a cover on the bite end.
The internal pocket it goes into is thermally lined with reflective material that feel flexible enough to last ok. Overall the material is a ripstop style (accept behind the back pads, where its cheaper crinkly nylon).
The elasticated strap to hold a helmet is robust and has a good cord lock, and inside the front zippered pocket is another sectioned pocket and a zipped pocket.
The main material feel robust enough and the straps are comfortable, but the width they are placed is not for thos with narrow shoulders/kids, so adults really.
The chest strap heigh can be adjusted, although with the pack straps set so that it sits low enough and the waist belt is in the right place then the chest strap is still a touch high in its lowest position. Having a good whistle on it can be useful if you loose your riding buddies in the woodfs or to call for help.
The wait strap pockets are both zippered, and all external zips have easy to use zipper pulls.
The wais strap can adjust very small, but there is enough webbing to have it really super huge – in fact far to much, so with a normal waist you have far to much loose strap, but you could always cut the excess off and re-melt the ends to stop fraying.
For 34 (May 24) its good value for this type of product.
Unless yo have a very long back or deep chest (in which case the straps are not really long enough for the pack to then sit low on your pack and waist be in the right place – a common issue on all these budget packs), then its a very good buy and well though out with nice extra touches and usful capacity, and seems well mader enough for casual use.
