The projector is very versatile, compatible with a wide range of devices. The WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity make it easy to stream content from my phone or laptop. The built-in speaker is surprisingly loud and clear, but I prefer to connect it to external speakers for a more immersive audio experience. The picture quality is fantastic, so everything looks bright and clear. The projector is compact and lightweight, making it easy to take with me on trips or to set up in different rooms of my house.

Technology in these types has moved on from the days of using incandescent bulbs. This has brought the price down but there is always something bigger and better. The actual unit now advertised here is different to that shipped to me for testing although I suspect it will perform the same. This isn’t going to replace your TV unless your TV happens to be made 50 years ago and neither will it be much good outdoors unless you are watching at night only. Not to take anything away here, but given the current version is on offer (with 50% off + extra 10% coupons) for 39.99 you shouldn’t expect to be competing with high-end products.

This does have its place of course, and thats in a windowless basement where you can take advantage of the large screen and the brightness it offers has the best possible chance. Would also work at night or with blackout blinds but really any source of light strong enough to read the labels on the buttons will give a poor viewing experience.

Good range of connections and its easy to use. Perhaps something to entertain the kids for under 40, wouldn’t really spend much more on it if I’m honest, I have some others we use at Halloween for window projections that cost less and are brighter.

This is a little larger than I expected for the money, as it really is quite good value.
The unit is about the size of a standard projector give or take and looks quite the part when setup.
I really liked he simple to follow setup wizard that gets you connected and working in no time at all.
You simply add it to your wifi and then add your accounts, and then set up the screen orientation and distance with its own clever little focusing system.
The picture whilst not as good as a TV, is perfectly fine for sitting across the room to watch.
You do need to dim the lights though as with pretty much most projectors, so this isnt really a negative.
The real beauty of this is that you can just put it anywhere close to a power source and use it. You dont need to supply it with a video source as it can just stream everything, which for me is preferable anyhow.
It does come with a screen of sorts, which is just pretty much a sheet, I didnt really notice any improvements to using it on a white painted wall, so the screen is back in the box.
I really cant stress how good this is for the money even at just under 150 and currently it’s on a special for just under 100, which to me is mind blowingly good.

    5 easy stars

Pretty good quality for the price, but a major issue – this projector doesn’t work with AV amp.
There is a note on the bottom, of the very last page of the manual!
Why don’t they put this on the information page!!?
    Product returned to Amazon.

Edit – The customer service of this company is exceptional. They replaced this projector with another version that worked with my amp. This is a far better projector, and it met all my expectations.
I cannot thank them enough, and would recommend this projector to anyone looking for a projector in this price range.
If I had had this projector first it would have been 5 stars. 1 star dropped due to the hassle with the first projector.

I am very impressed with this little projector, which is excellent quality for the price.

Setup was incredibly easy. All that was needed was connection to my home wifi, which took less than a minute, and it was ready to go. The projector already has built in streaming services, such as Netflix, which works very well. However, I have my movie collection stored on a local NAS drive, so connected a TV stick that had the appropriate app to access the NAS. It works perfectly.

The image produced is clear and sharp, with good auto-focus – simply point at a blank wall and switch on, and the projector does the rest. A 100in screen is included, but no stand. I don’t at present have anywhere suitable to fix it, so intend to purchase a screen stand in the near future to complete the kit.

Overall, this is a very good projector at a very affordable price – I am more than happy with it.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI was very impressed with this projector; it is incredible at the price and definitely an easy 5 out of 5 stars. The 1080 picture is clear, and there are lots of settings to tweak which I really liked, the auto focus is excellent and there is an option to manual focus it too. The image is fairly bright, obviously it is not as bright as a high-end projector but, for the price (under 150 at time of writing), it is unbelievably good.

The pictures that I have associated with this review don’t do it justice this these are taken with the projector at 2 meters distance in the daytime on its default setup. With a reflective screen and a dark room, this projector is great for kids’ movie night.

This projector is well made, it feels nice and sturdy, the fan cover can be removed for cleaning and the stand can be locked in place with an Allen Key (included)
The projector can be angled and locked in many positions which is great if you are short on space as this projector can be pointed straight up, so if you wanted to use your ceiling and lay in bed to watch movies and play games.

The settings allow the projector to be table-top or ceiling mounted. It can even be used for back projection.

You can use the onboard apps to watch content or plug in a games machine, PC, DVD player etc via the ports included.
This device includes inputs for HDMI, Component RCA AV (via supplied cable), USB it also has a Headphone output. This projector also has wireless connectivity with WIFI and Bluetooth. Note that the Bluetooth can also be used to connect a wireless speaker.

Another great aspect is that the power connector is a standard C2 power cable, if you needed a longer or shorter cable for your application then they are available from many distributors.

The only minor criticism that I have is that I could not find United Kingdom, Great Britain or England in the Region list, but I’m sure there will be a region that works for the UK.

    Pros:
    – Clear Picture
    – Lots of settings
    – Auto Focus
    – Well Made
    – Standard Input Ports
    – Wifi Connectivity
    – C2 Power connector
    – Versatile positions and angles.

    Cons:
    – Could not find my country on the region list.

5.0 out of 5 stars Incredible at the price

This attractive and slightly retro looking projector is very quick to set up. Out of the box you get the fully assembled projector with stand, a selection of connecting cables, a remote control and a screen. This is supplied folded up and has strings for hanging up. This is nice extra if you don’t have a suitable blank wall or screen already. I like that the stand is already connected to the projector, but the remote did not come with batteries.

You can use this is a simple projector to project your computer our iPad output. But it also has a selection of apps so you can use YouTube, Netflix and some others by connecting it to your wifi. There are also wireless streaming options from phones and tablets but I couldn’t get this working, but the cabled connection works fine.

Sound quality is quite good for speech and general TV watching. Music doesn’t sound so good from the built-in speakers. There are a range of settings for changing the focus and keystone, so if the projector is not in the optimal position you can reshape the projection to get the correct size and shape of image. This does reduce sharpness however on parts of the image. Image quality overall is fine for general TV viewing. It does need a fairly dark room to be worth using as a TV image.

This is a nice little projector which is fairly easy to use and gives good results. It wouldn’t be good enough as your only TV but to add on or use for occasional presentations this does the job.

We have a tradition in our family that every weekend we would organize moving nights and gathering in front of the tv does not allow the same experience as having a large screen and because we prefer to watch our movies on a weekly basis we decided to upgrade our home entertainment with this portable projector.
A few things that we like about this projector is the fact that it has a very good resolution and provides clear and sharp images and the movies look great with vibrant colors and good details which is perfect for watching various films or shows.
The setup is simple and easy, requiring you to connect with the wifi network as well as the phones having multiple options for compatibility such as usb, hdmi and tv stick.
Because it is portable we can take it with us even to our friends and enjoy beautiful moments and create amazing memories. The built-in speaker provides a good quality of the audio but it also has the option to connect external speakers via Bluetooth.
We also like the design of the projector which integrates nicely in any home decoration being not only functional but also looking very good.
We like that since having this projector, we enjoy our family nights and it became an important part of our family memories.

Quite impressed with this projector, something a bit different in appearance to the usual stuff.

Although seemingly quite large straight out of the box, a lot of that is taken up by the stand. It’s this stand however that makes it really simple to set up and position, and being able to swivel it up and down instead of relying on a tilting table (or packing the front) makes it a joy to use.

The automatic focus and keystone adjustment works a treat, and it does give you a decent margin to play with, as opposed to just a few degrees some projects allow.

Picture quality is absolutely fine, and while true enthusiasts may likely want something better/brighter (at more money of course), for general home use I don’t think you’d be disappointed with this at all.

The remote supplied with it is decent quality, which again is a bit of a surprise given the cost of this setup.

There is a 100″ cloth ‘screen’ included, but while it’s OK for having a play around with it (just to make sure the projector works basically), you really need to point this at something worthwhile…. a proper screen ideally, or a plain white wall. Trying to judge this projector using the cloth screen alone may well give a slightly disappointing initial impression, and that would be a real shame if you don’t give it something decent to work with. It makes a huge difference to the image quality and brightness, and this should be your next item on your shopping list if you haven’t already got one.

I really do like this projector, and despite what might be classed a bit ‘old school’ in appearance, I’d much prefer this as opposed to something that needs messing about with, just to get it pointing where you want it.

    Good stuff, and on a quality/value-for-money basis… 5-Stars.
