This is a great quality 6 plus extension lead. I love the fact that it is individually switched which means you can turn the plugs on and off as needed.

The product has a great power cord length and feels durable and made of great quality. Most importantly it is fused correctly and conforms to British standards.

Overall a great multi plug solution at great value!

This is great if a bit expensive at 18.99. However, it has a 3m cable, six sockets and individual switches, so it’s much better than the cheap ones you can buy. Saves having more than one in the same room. Very useful though I don’t really need six sockets.

This is a white extension lead that gives 6 plug inlets, I have the 3 meter cable which is plenty for most needs but does come in other lengths.
I like that each socket has its own power switch and it’s own colour which is handy for keeping track of where each device is plugged l, I also like that it is rectangular shaped so so all devices plug in without getting in the way of each other as some devices have larger power supplys, it does have holes on the back so it can be mounted to the wall.
Works well, good for power management, to keep things tidy ablnd good that devices can be independently turned on/off.

    Price when reviewed: 18.99.
This is a review of the 3-metre 6-way extension lead. Each of the 6 3-pin sockets is individually switched. As with all electrical items I buy, I always check the fuse as far too often I’ve found the wrong rated fuse fitted. However, this extension lead had the correct 13A fuse in the plug.
The cable is thick, so should be up to the task and at 3 metres long it should reach most areas of a room from a wall socket. As this is plugged into a single mains socket the wattage of all appliances in use at any one time must not total up to be in excess 3,250 watts.
The back of the extension strip has 2 wall mounting holes which is handy to keep all the cables off the floor.
This feels like a well made trailing lead and 6 sockets should be enough for most needs.

I usually try to stick to brands that I’ve heard of for electrical cables etc, as I know that they will more than likely have been tested/approved for electrical safety and use in the UK. This is not a brand that I’ve heard of before, and it seems to be ok, but it does feel a little bit cheap to me. The individual switches are handy with their colour coding to make life easier, but it doesn’t really feel like it’s been built to last. I will probably be using it for Christmas tree lights so it will just be sat behind a tree for a few weeks anyway with a handful of low-powered devices plugged into it. I’m sure it’s absolutely fine for that purpose but time will tell of course.

This extension lead is well made and the convenience of the long lead and 6 sockets made it an overall good buy.

    Pros
    6 UK Sockets
    Individual isolation On/Off switches
    3Mtr length (other length options)
    High quality thickened plastic construction
    Status light for each switch

    Cons
Wall mounting holes are positioned too low
    Switches feel a bit coarse
    No USB sockets

First impressions were very good, this extension lead feels very solid and well made and has a nice styling, I really liked the colour coded sockets and the individual On/Off switches, the mains lead is good quality and very thick, there’s an anti-pull piece where the cable goes into the extension, all good so far and I was impressed in general.

A couple of small niggles though, firstly the 2 wall mounting holes are positioned quite low, higher would have been more stable, but that’s quite a minor thing and it’s still fit for purpose, the other thing is the switches feel a little coarse if that makes sense, as in it doesn’t feel like a clean On/Off action, but again it is a minor thing and I’ve had no issues using it.

In use I found it worked perfectly, it’s just an extension lead but it is so handy for my bedroom where a socket is in the worst place, the lack of USB sockets is a shame but there’s plenty of sockets so I used an adaptor in one.

    Overall Conclusion
For the money I think this is great value, the quality is very good and durable, the niggles are minor and wouldn’t put me off buying another.

4.0 out of 5 stars Pretty good, just a couple of niggles

Today 14-9-2024 I noticed one of the red lights is extremely dim, so have reduced my rating down to 4 stars. Hopefully this is a one off.

This is a good lead, available in different cable lengths, I only wanted a short one to cut down on messy cables.

The plastics look good, modern and stylish, colour coded individual power switches which I love, certainly makes it very easy to individually be able to turn things on or off. Good quality power flex and a decent 13amp fused plug, also supplied with a spare fuse. Also like the glowing orange leds to show power on each plug. It is 38cm long 6.7cm wide and 2.9cm thick.

The rear has two screw holes to enable easy mounting on to walls etc, the rear is also quite flush, so you could use double side sticky tape to secure on to other surfaces.

Very happy with this extension lead.

I picked up this 3M Extension Lead with 6 individual switches because my home office was becoming a tangled mess of cables. Between the computer, printer, and various chargers, I needed something that could handle multiple devices without tripping the fuse. This extension lead looked like it would do the trick, and I’m pleased to say it has met my expectations.

The 3-metre power cord is a real lifesaver. It reaches across my room without any issues, allowing me to place the extension lead exactly where I need it. This is especially handy since my office setup isn’t close to the wall sockets. I also like that it’s wall-mountable, which helps keep things tidy and off the floor.

Each socket has its own individual switch, which is a brilliant feature. I can turn off devices I’m not using without having to unplug them completely. It gives me peace of mind, knowing I can easily cut the power to specific devices, which also helps with energy saving.

The build quality seems sturdy, and it doesn’t feel flimsy like some cheaper alternatives I’ve tried in the past. The sockets hold the plugs securely, and I haven’t experienced any loose connections or overheating. The lead’s 13A rating and 3250W capacity mean I can plug in multiple high-powered devices without worrying about overloading it.

One minor gripe is that the switches are a bit stiff. They require a firm press to operate, which could be an issue if you have dexterity problems or if you’re trying to switch something off quickly. Additionally, the unit is a bit bulky, so if you’re looking for something more discreet, this might not be the best option.

Overall, this extension lead has been a great addition to my home office. It’s reliable, convenient, and offers a good level of control over my devices. The slightly stiff switches are a minor drawback, but they don’t detract too much from what is otherwise a very practical product.
