Well it took my cat ages to drink from it, but all he needed was to get use to it, there is a soft sound of water trickling but everything else is quiet, the light is there to guide him in the dark but I think cats eyes can manage the dark ok. Easy to set up, the husband cleans the filter every few days. So quite pleased with it so far.

I wanted to encourage my cat to drink more as she is getting on in years and found this. I happened to visit someone with exactly the same fountain and they were singing its praises, so I thought it would be a good buy.

My cat is quite tentative around new and strange things, but gets used to them after a while. She didn’t get on well with the flower attachment – she in fact likes to slurp the water up from the opposite end to where she is standing – same with her food!

It took a week or so before she got used to the fact that it was water and good to drink and although I haven’t been measuring it, I do hear her get up and drink every now and then, and notice the water level going down.

The LED is helpful as when the water is getting low there is more turbulence in the water and it flickers, topping it up to nearly full reduces this. I haven’t noticed if this has any effect on my cat drinking, and the pump is of course never left to run dry.

The pack contains some filters and there is an email address to contact to get more filters and if the pump breaks they promise to replace it. All in all a good buy.

Easy to assemble, easy to clean, love that it’s got a light – you won’t hit it accidentally at night. My cat loves it and actually asks me to turn it on to start drinking. Overall – good quality and nice design.

We bought this to replace an old fountain where the pump had failed. The product was very easy to set up and is much quieter than our previous one – the only sound that can be heard is running water which provides a pleasing background sound in the room. No problems with our cat drinking from the fountain. The built in led light makes it very easy to check the water level. Overall very pleased with the product.

Great little cat water fountain – easy to set up and use. Very quiet even with the pump, just hear the odd trickle of water. Only problem I have with it, is that my cats refuse to go anywhere near it!

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI love my new cat water fountain, though I’ve only had it 1 day. It’s very relaxing. Water trickling. My cat Charlie, I’ve only 3 weeks, an old guy, rescued street cat. Insists on drinking from the bath, not safe. So chose this one. Charlie seems to like it. The blue light is good so you can see it in the dark. Good for the price.

    This is a great fountain.
Super easy to clean and set up.
Holds a good amount of water, and seems to keep the water cool and refreshing.
A great height for kittens but also one that will be good as they grow.
I also appriecate that there is enough space to allow for drinking the flowing water or the pool in the top.

The fountain itself also isn’t noisy like others I’ve seen (except for obviously the sound of the water).

Golden Review Award: 20 From Our UsersI was looking at getting one of these cat fountains for a while but what finally pushed me was that my cat has developed bladder crystals and needs as much encouragement to drink water as possible!

The unit itself was super easy to set up and although other people have had issues with leaks mine hasn’t shown any defects thus far. The pump is also super quiet and pleasantly trickles like an indoor water feature and sounds like a gentle stream rather than an annoying running tap that makes you want to run to the bathroom every 5 minutes! I know some people have said the pumps were either weak or stop working altogether after a few weeks but the unit comes with a sticker on it saying to contact them directly for a free pump if this happens so I wouldn’t let the odd manufacturing defect put you off.

My cat is spooked by EVERYTHING especially anything new in the house so I expected it to be a couple of weeks before she even approached it willingly but to my surprise (and after lots of positive reinforcement with placing treats around the unit and playing next to it) she stopped avoiding it and by the 3rd day I caught her drinking from it! She drank for far longer than she does her water bowls and the different streams makes it interesting for her as she kept moving round the flower fountain to drink from different ones. I also like the light as it creates further interest for her in the dark and looks cool too!

The filters are cheap and simple to replace and it’s nice that I can just leave it running and not worry about cleaning it every day (unlike water bowls that also inevitably cause another job when you slosh water everywhere!). The pump itself is only 1.5 watts so costs virtually nothing to run and you can either use a USB plug or the plug adapter that comes with it (worth noting as I was disappointed when I saw it was a USB plug on the box and hunted everywhere for an adapter but needn’t have bothered as it comes with one!)

Overall I highly recommend this specific fountain as it’s cheap, cheerful, functional, easy to clean/maintain and just as effective as the expensive ones. Big thumbs up from me and a big paws up from my happy and hydrated baby girl.
