ARVOK Carry Case for Meta Quest 3 /Quest 2, Large Soft
ARVOK Carry Case for Meta Quest 3 /Quest 2, Large Soft Lining Case for Kiwi Design/BOBOVR Battery Head Strap and Other Accessories, EVA Hard Shell VR Headset Protective Bag for Travel and Storage
Perfectly formed wide excellent all round protection. This case will easily protect against impacts, puncturing, drops and to a degree pressure ie being squashed. It’s rigid and semi hard.
The storage inside is molded for the stated electronics ie the metaquest and headset and accessories. I don’t have these items. The lining is soft and smooth and should not mark any electronics screens, glass, coatings etc.
Overall this is a good standard of protection presented really well. It looks and feels good quality.
This hard case for storing your meta quest is well made and great quality. The insides are molded for the perfect fit and it has extra storage space for accesories. It is easy to carry and comes with a shoulder strap too. It feels very durable and hardwearing as well. I’m very pleased with this good value meta quest storage case.
Having always used the BOBOVR battery strap means not being able to use 99% of the hard cases that are released for the Quest 3. This one is clearly designed to meet that need. The headset and controllers fit very nicely, and there’s room for other bits such as a charger and battery.
The case itself feels very sturdy on the outside and soft on the inside. Very handy to take with me on holiday.
I have a Quest 3 with the official Elite Battery Strap, while it does fit, it’s a bit tight. There’s no compartment for the controllers either, so they’re just dangling inside and may scratch your quest 3 headset, or even the lenses by accident. Ensure you strap them in with velcro or such, the added pouch can’t be used for controllers as it would collide with the back of the headset when closed.
This carry case for the Meta Quest 3 is a solid and reliable option for keeping your headset safe during transport and storage. It’s well-constructed and offers ample padding to protect the headset from bumps and scratches.
However, there’s one crucial point to note: **the case doesn’t provide dedicated lens protection or straps to secure the touch controllers**. If you leave the controllers loose inside the case, they can potentially damage or scratch the headset’s lenses. To avoid this, make sure to store the controllers in the net pocket provided inside the case or add a layer of soft material between the lenses and the controllers.
Despite this minor drawback, the case overall is a good value for the price. It’s sturdy, spacious enough to accommodate the headset and its accessories, and offers peace of mind when travelling with your Meta Quest 3.
I recommend this carry case, but with the caveat that you need to take extra care to protect the headset’s lenses.
The headline sums this up perfectly. It’s big, nicely fitted and has enough space for my Q3 with a very tall interface pad, an aftermarket strap + battery and silicone cover. There is plenty of spaces for controllers, cables and other bits too.
Very well made and highly recommended.
The EVA hard shell exterior feels sturdy and durable, offering solid protection for my VR headset. The fit is just right. everything stays in place, and I can store all my accessories in one place. I love how organized it keeps my gear, no more hunting for cables or worrying about things getting squished.
I generally just carry my Quest 2 in my bag, wrapped in one of my jumpers or a towel – very secure!
This carry case is quite large, but roomy to store your Quest 2, plus controllers and accessories to protect them from scratches and mild drops.
The interior is lined with a soft material, and one side is moulded to fit your Quest 2, including the Elite strap or similar build. I use a third party strap with a battery pack built into the back and it fits like a glove! There’s no dedicated controller “moulds” so they sort of sit freely in there – I’ve got them resting against the headrest so that they don’t accidentally make contact with the lenses.
On the other side is empty space, plus a mesh bag for your charger, spare batteries and other smaller accessories. Controllers don’t fit there unfortunately, they must be placed inside where the Quest 2 sits.
It zips up nicely and feels very nice and tough, and has a soft rubber handle, plus an optional arm strap.
I’ll be using the going forward, though I now need to carry this separately from my bag as it just won’t fit in there.
Would recommend!
I once tried a VR headset and it was great fun, for about 10 minutes, and then I was happy to return to the real world. Hence, I haven’t got any immediate plans to get a headset.
Getting a case, that could house such a headset, is a different matter altogether. I do have a number of electronic devices that either came with an inadequate case, or no case at all. This large example of a hardshell case will be able to house any one of my homeless valuables and give it fantastic protection. A bit of customisation may be required but I have plenty of foam, sticky pads and sticky back hook and loop systems.
This is a well made case. The shell is robust as is the zip, being a good gauge and running very smoothly. I do like the dual strap and handle provision, especially the silicone type handle which is so comfortable to hold. The outer fabric allows for a wipe down with a damp sponge to help to keep it clean.
Inside I am a big fan of the fact that the mesh pocket, that’s in the lid, is zipped. That will stop my small accessories from falling out. The main storage area is of a generous size and has the strap to help to hold things steady. Having fully appreciated the size of this case immediately suggested another function. Where size limits allow this will make a great in cabin bag when I fly. Last time my soft bag was crushed and I had clothes smeared in shampoo. That won’t happen with this sturdy monster.
In comparison to other similar cases that I have seen I feel this one, with its two carrying modes, zipped internal pocket and spacious interior, offers some of the best value at 24.99. I recently reviewed one at 29.99 that didn’t come close to this one.
