This a nicely machined aluminium ball mount for your camera exploits. As an amateur I’ve found that simple ball mounts I’ve used, the cheaper and plastic ones or even cheaper metal ones, can require a lot of turns of the screw to tighten. This one loosens and tightens rapidly, allowing you to get it really stable exactly where you want it very quickly and adjust it easily as well.
There’s a nut for the panoramic scale and you can use this if you do want to shoot panoramas and need to make sure you’re getting the same angle on repeated shots. I’m a newbie to better camera equipment and trying to be clever, but this gives me a capability I definitely haven’t had before on my existing tripods.
It supports a lot more weight than I need, and feels very well made to me. The price seems perfectly reasonable to me for the quality and material.
ATUMEK, an all aluminium tripod rotating head. Max load 5 kilos. Order arrived on time and well packed.
Uses a 1/4″ screw on the top and bottom. Weights 77grams, it’s very nicely made, great quality, feels robust and strong and looks like a premium item / finish.
– The red knob locks or releases the horizontal adjustment on the ball head.
– The wing shaped knob pivots in all directions subject to the limitation of the fixture. Up / Down / Around etc.
– The mount also has a slot so the top pivot arm can be locked into position.
Overall it’s very easy to use, looks fantastic, sturdy, well designed.

5/5 GREAT VALUE – PREMIUM ITEM.
The ATUMTEK Mini Ball Head is a well-built and reliable piece of kit for photographers who need both flexibility and durability. Made from sturdy aluminium alloy, it can comfortably support up to 5kg (11lbs), which is more than enough for most cameras and other photography gear. This means you can easily use it with tripods, monopods, or even light stands without worrying about stability.
What stands out about this ball head is its smooth 360 panoramic rotation. It makes capturing those sweeping landscape shots a breeze, and it locks securely in place once you’ve found the perfect angle. Despite its small size, the ball head offers a high level of precision, which is a pleasant surprise given its compact design.
Setting it up is straightforward, and the robust design gives you confidence that it’ll hold up over time, even with regular use. Whether you’re a professional photographer or just someone who enjoys outdoor photography as a hobby, this ball head is a solid investment.
In terms of value, it’s worth every penny. The ATUMTEK Mini Ball Head is a dependable companion for your travels, offering both portability and performance.
The ‘ATUMTEK mini Tripod Ball Head 360 Panoramic, Aluminium Alloy Camera Ball Mount 20mm, Max Load 5kg’ arrived in a branded box that also included a user manual.
This mini ball head mount works well for my lightweight bridge camera and is ideal when attached to a magic arm and clamp which allows me to fix it just about anywhere for those extra angles, or where a full size tripod is just not feasible.
A perfect addition to your fixed tripods: a tripod ball head with 360 rotation.
Have the same screw from top to bottom, so if your tripod has the same, you’ll be able to use this without any problems whatsoeve
I love this little head, it is great on my monopod, it is small and lightweight. Being a monopod, I don’t use the panoramic side of it, but that does seem fine, though not really for video.
The tilt is where this is really useful, and that works perfectly well with my DSLR.
This product arrives inside a cardboard box; inside, you’ll find the product itself and a set of instructions – it is straightforward to figure out how to use it, though. As of reviewing, this product is priced at 14.99 – priced correctly for its quality.
The product is perfect for my mini-table tripod. The ball joint allows me to get angled pictures with my Mirrorless Camera, and it can also be used on more giant tripods to take lovely portrait and landscape photos, ring lights, etc.
The product has a max capacity of 5 KG on top of it, which should be great for most applications, my setup when taking pictures is around 1 KG though.
I recommend this product; it’s incredibly versatile and of excellent quality.
Really pleased with this little ball-head adaptor.
The main draw for me to this Atumtek model was the ‘panoramic’ feature, and that’s so very useful for a specific use I have… mounting a point-to-point laser distance meter/measure. I can achieve panning with my existing tripod, but for the times where the meter needs to be clamped or positioned where a tripod is not feasible, this little panoramic adapter does the job a treat.
It’s very smooth rotating when you back off the red screw a little, and nips up securely without having to tighten it too much.
Just to point out that the smoothness and lack of ‘looseness’ does depend on the weight of the attached device pressing downwards. If you rock the camera (or other device) with the red screw backed off, you WILL see a bit of play where the rotary surfaces meet. When in use for general panning however, it’s not a problem… as long as you’re gentle with the panning movement and simply let the adaptor ‘take the weight’.
I really do like this little device, and it’s made my own particular job so much easier, smoother and precise. For the money, it’s an excellent buy IMO.
Good stuff, and on a quality/value-for-money basis… 5-Stars.
I already had two tripod heads; namely a modern, but massive Manfrotto video head, and an antique, somewhat awkward head from Gitzo. Both have their uses, but many times I have really wanted something simpler, lighter and more compact.
I was a little wary about this, because the price just seemed too low, however I already had a decent phone holder from Atumtek, so I thought it was worth trying.
When it arrived, I was taken aback at just how diminutive it is; practically the size of an egg cup, yet I realised that might not be such a bad thing. It will hold my professional Canon body DSLR together with a 24-105L zoom and the only caveat is that I support the camera when loosening the screw, so it doesn’t just flop over.
The overall quality is shockingly good, and for the price, it’s an absolute steal. This is very versatile, because it could be used in so many ways, including panoramas or 360 photography, as well as a simple, compact head for travel.
