This is a nice backpack should be on anyone’s list for their commuting or travelling needs. Now, I already have a nice backpack branded one, so I grabbed this Bagsmart for my son.
This is a laptop bag and is well made, the one compartment is great for your iPad or other tablets, and feels very secure and safe in there. In fact, the bag as a whole feels very sturdy and hardwearing, and is comfortable to wear across the back with weight.
It is a thing with most modern laptop bags – that they will be replete with many pockets and zips. And the Bagsmart is certainly no slouch in these departments.
It’s a pretty smart travel backpack. It comfortably seats a Mac Book – with plenty of space actually to fit in a tablet, a kindle and more besides. Organising your “stuff” is pretty easy – given the aforementioned zips and pockets – the challenge however is remembering what you put where (this is true though of any similar product). Squirrels and nuts come to mind.
Two padded shoulder straps – adjustable – make carrying it easy and very comfortable. The back (i.e. part which rests against your back) has a layer of padding. There is no cross strap (i.e. something to go around your chest) – but I really don’t think that’s a loss at all. Given the plethora of zips and pockets it would have been nice to have one facing your back – for more valuable smaller items (cash, cards, passport etc.)
All in all it’s a comfortable travel backpack – actually a little smaller and simpler than some – yet well featured.
