Really helpful on a busy bbq day. Keeps the kebabs easy to turn and from sticking to the grill.
The metal holders are helpful. But they do have sharp edges. Which makes getting them back in the very thin and small storage bag a little annoying.
I got these in just in time for what might have been our final BBQ of the year!
I’ve got another set of skewers on a rack, however what I like about this set is that the racks are two separate units so you can make the gap between the size you need. I have several sets of skewers of various lengths, and I can’t use many of them on my other rail as it’s one size rectangular unit – on this one however I could use all of them alongside the skewers that came with by just moving the racks further apart for the larger skewers. Perfect.
The Skewers are a single piece of metal, and a good length for most of your needs. Everything is solidly made and not flimsy at all. Nice to have a set of 10, it’s a good number of skewers!
Everything cleaned up nicely in hot soapy water. Have tried the dishwasher yet with them, but to be honest I didn’t feel I needed to. I’ve also had skewers rust after dishwasher use in the past.
The little basting brush isn’t much, but it does the job and it’s handy to have another one . It does come with a bag to keep it all together, but that’s already been forgotten here and everything is in the BBQ cupboard!
All in all this is a great little set for 10.99. Worth the money.

I recently ordered the BBQ Skewer Rack Set to use with my gas barbecue, and it has been an excellent choice. The set includes a pair of stainless steel skewer racks, 10 round kebab skewers, an oil brush, and a portable storage bag—everything I need for a great barbecue experience.

This is an interesting set that is something different and is great for use in the summer or as a present. The skewers and the rack are quite heavy duty so will last a long time and not get broken. The little brush is a good idea as well so you can oil your skewers before you use them and then the meat won’t stick
assembly takes just a moment and it insures your barbecued kebabs are cooked evenly and properly without getting burned. As it is made from premium stainless steel the frame and the skewers are straightforward to clean as well.
Due to the weather I haven’t been able to test out this skewer set over charcoal yet, unfortunately. However, I am pleased overall with the set and having tried, and mostly failed to barbeque kebabs recently, I do believe this is going to make a big difference. Firstly, the stainless steel racks lift the skewers off the hot grill which prevents contact with the charcoal and burning. The skewers can be turned for even cooking. The racks are extremely strong and shouldn’t bend even with heat, though I expect they might change colour.
The pouch is not fit for purpose. It’s flimsy material. I struggled to get the items out and noticed that it was ripped on arrival. It’s too narrow to hold all the pieces inside without the sharp edges of the racks catching and tearing the fabric trying to get them in and out.
There are many variations of skewers shown in the description images. Twisted, square, round, take your pick. I can confirm as stated in the text, the skewers are round, like long thin knitting needles with a circular end to hold them with. Having used this type previously, I found that once food starts to cook and contract as it loses water, it’s not that easy to turn over with this round type of skewer. The chunks of veg and chicken tend to want to sit with gravity and you end up just spinning the skewer inside the pieces. However, they do hold everything together and they do work well enough.
There’s also a silicone brush for oils and marinade. Handy, as I can keep it separate from my indoor kitchen utensils.
It’s a simple design and idea, and sometimes that’s just the solution you need. Fingers crossed, no more kebabs falling between the grill and getting covered with gritty charcoal. Pretty good!
