– great little set for kids to enjoy. beat thing is that the paint is washable but i just didnt like the way they come in little bottles that look like eye drop medication also the consistency of the paint is not too good its a lot watery
– overall great fun for little ones, makes for a great gift. my daughters love playing with this everyday
We enjoyed this activity set, as it is a different spin on arts and crafts. The idea is to use the stampers to “dot” colour the images. It comes with a wide selection of different designs, from animals to the alphabet, and even has a little booklet with ideas for decorating the images and colour matching etc.
The stampers are durable wood, with a thick handle for a firm grasp. Each handle has 2 different sized dabbers on it, which are easy to clean. The paint pallette is a little flimsy, but does the job as expected. Small ink stains were easy to clean from skin, clothes and table tops.
My only issue is that the ink colours are hard to see when it is poured into the pallete, as they all come out very dark. This made it a little but difficult for the kids to distinguish which colour they wanted to use, when it had been poured out.
Overall, this was a fun activity, that kept the kids engaged and didn’t cause too much difficult mess to clean up.
My 5 year old had a lot of fun with this painting set. The paint was more of an ink which I am sure is by design so they work well with the stamps. The colours do look a little dark when in the painting tray, and change when you put them onto the paper and when they dry.
Overall this is would make an ideal starter painting set for young children to learn and have fun at the same time. It is perhaps not one of the cheapest on the market but it is very nicely presented and I’m sure my three year old Grandson will have much fun using it. It does take quite a while for the paint to try so for kids that are inpatient you need to be careful otherwise it’ll be smudges. Adult help is needed as the lids are a little tricky to remove and put back. Overall, it’s good se
It is all simply lid out with the colours and utensils to use the colours. The picture cards are a nice thick card and inspiring with their big simple designs, it also comes with a card to follow its ideas to create bit of course you can do whatever you want using whatever colours you want colouring whatever you want.
You don’t need much paint at all, I waste quite a bit the first time as I squeezed a bit out and as it’s a thin paint it goes on and on without needing to be dipped back into the paint often. I like the effects and mixing the colours of paint to create a mixture of bluey greens and greens gave it all a nice artistic effect and more rewarding.
Easy for kids to use and I found the paint doesn’t get anywhere as it’s just on the end of the stick anyway but was very easy to clean off the stick and paint board at the end anyway.
It is fun easy art and nothing too challenging.
My granddaughter really liked this. She set to with enjoyment and determination and had great fun dabbing away at her pictures. She enjoys arty activities (her Mum is artistic) and this kept her attention for a good while.
One observation from her father is that the colours look different in the palette-well from the colour in the pot, and then again different on paper. His daughter found it fun to find what colour actually appears on the paper but others may be upset that his or her expectation wasn’t met.
But a fun and creative toy. We recommend it.
I recently orderes the D-FantiX Washable Paint Dot Markers for my 5 year old, and they have been a hit in our household. Here’s a breakdown of our experience:
Pros:
1. Vibrant Colours: The set includes 10 bright and vivid colours that really stand out on paper. The variety is great for encouraging creativity.
2. Easy to Use: The markers are designed for little hands, making them perfect for toddlers and young children. My lad found them very easy to grip and use.
3. Washable: True to their description, the paint washes off easily from skin and clothes. This makes clean-up a breeze, which is a big plus for parents.
4. Educational Fun: These markers are great for developing fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. They’ve been a fantastic tool for preschool learning activities.
5. Safe and Non-Toxic: The markers are non-toxic, so I feel safe letting my lad use them without worrying about any harmful chemicals.
6. Engaging for Reluctant Artists: These markers have been brilliant for my 5-year-old, who isn’t that into drawing. Having something fun and engaging helps spark his imagination and keeps him interested in creating art.
Cons:
1. Drying Time: The paint takes a bit of time to dry, so be prepared for some potential smudging if your child is eager to move on to the next page or project.
2. Lids: The lids can be a little difficult for smaller children to remove and replace securely. We’ve had a few instances where they weren’t put back on properly, causing the markers to dry out slightly.
Overall, the D-FantiX Washable Paint Dot Markers are a wonderful addition to our art supplies. They offer vibrant colors, ease of use, and educational benefits, making them a great choice for any young artist. Despite minor issues with drying time and lid security, they still provide plenty of fun and creativity for kids.
D-FantiX Washable Paint Dot Markers for Kids comes with 30 printed activity cards, 10 pots of paint, 5 double ended dot daubers and a mixing tray. The paints are quite vibrant colours (we used to call them poster paints when I were a lad) and was off of anything it isn’t supposed to be on quite easily (children, walls, tabletops…)
I scanned the 30 cards and printed out copies onto some A4 card stock (I’d been hanging on to it for some years) in readiness for the 2 young ladies (4 & 5) invading at the weekend. Sadly I’d had to go out during the afternoon, and left them making lots of noise and mess in the capable hands of Grandma – by the time I got back the children, and painted cards, had departed, the mess cleaned up and everything put away neatly.
I was informed that the girls had had a great time, and had handled the daubers well, only applying paint to themselves minimally and the kitchen table not quite so minimally.
So, sorry, no photos, but an assurance that these girls had had a great time colouring in, and both are aspiring Picasso’s…
Great for pre-school / nursery kids, possibly for early years entertainment too. But the colourful cards were loved to bits and a great time had by all.
How can I not give the D-FantiX Washable Paint Dot Markers for Kids 5 stars?
This is a lovely painting will I’m sure enlighten any youngster to learn about how to use colours, the alphabet and numbers. It comes with 8 paint colours, 5 dot paint applicators which are double ended, and a mixing palette. Also included are a total 30 glossy thick washable painting cards comprising of the alphabet (13), numbers (5), animals (6), and vehicles (6).
The paint applicators can be used to make simple dots of two different sizes or even draw lines. The paint colours are first dispensed onto the pallet and used as they are or mixed together and then the applicator is dipped into it to pick up the paint and apply it to the chosen painting card. Since the paints are washable it is possible to remove them not only from the skin with soap and water but also with care from the paint cards themselves so that they could be reused.
Overall this is would make an ideal starter painting set for young children to learn and have fun at the same time. It is perhaps not one of the cheapest on the market but it is very nicely presented and I’m sure my three year old Grandson will have much fun using it.
