My room is much better since I got this DOQAUS temperature and hygrometer. It keeps exact records of temperature and humidity and updates them every 5 seconds, which helps me keep my space comfortable. It’s easy to read from far away on the big LCD screen, and it’s very simple to change from C to F.
I love how small and light it is, but it’s still strong enough to record the highest and lowest temperatures and humidity levels. The battery life of 18 to 24 months is great, and the low battery alert is a useful function. It’s easy to put anywhere in the room because it comes with multiple mounting choices. It’s great for keeping the air inside healthy—highly suggested!
This is a brilliant addition to our home. The large screen is easy to read from across the room, and the frequent updates ensure we always know the current conditions. It is compact, yet packed with features, like recording high and low temperatures, which is great for peace of mind. The battery life is impressive, and the multiple mounting options mean it fits perfectly wherever we need it. It makes managing indoor climate simple and stress-free.
With its large, clear display, boasting a wealth of data about temperature and humidity, this is a very useful device for keeping track of how comfortable your living area is. By monitoring this information, you can identify areas where damp or mould are likely to occur.
The display will show:
* Current temperature
* Maximum and minimum temperature*
* Current relative humidity
* Maximum and minimum relative humidity*
* These can be toggled to display the max/min of All Time, or just for the last 24 hours.
Temperature can be toggled between C and F. Buttons to change the settings are located on the rear of the unit.
One design feature I greatly appreciate is the range of ways to mount the device. There’s a powerful magnet for attaching to any ferromagnetic surface, such as a fridge or boiler; a pull-out stand should you want to leave the device on a windowsill, for instance; or there’s a small bracket that allows you to mount it on a wall.
The unit is powered by 2 x AAA batteries, which are included in the box.
It is very simple to set up — just insert the batteries, select temperature units and 24hr/All Time, and you’re ready to go.
Wonderful device, with accurate readings that tally with those obtained from Tado smart thermostats and our dehumidifier.
The item comes well presented, with batteries included requiring the removal of a typical battery tab to activate it. It picked up the room temperature more or less the same as another meter that I have in the room. The readings are close enough that I can tell this one isn’t way off at least and seems accurate enough.
The unit was smaller than I expected, but big enough to read the display from a distance. To cycle through all-time high and 24hrs readings, you will need to press the button on the back, or to change to Fahrenheit. It has the option to hang from a nail/hook/screw, stuck onto a metal surface with its built-in magnet, or use its built-in stand.
Overall, it’s a straightforward device to use, and does everything it says. The price of 9.99 is more or less in line with market rates of others from what I can tell, so I think it is a fair price. I like it, especially with all this summer heat!
I have a dehumidifier, so got this to use mainly as a humidity meter to keep an eye on the moisture levels in various rooms and see where it will be most useful.
It is a solidly built little unit and with a clear, easy to read display and came complete with a set of AAA batteries.
The feature that I particularly like is the high/low history display for both temperature and humidity. This can be set to display the maximum and minimum readings for either the past 24 hours or over the whole time since the batteries were last replaced. There is also an arrow graphic which indicates if temperature and humidity are trending up down or remaining level.
It is very simple to use with just two buttons on the back. One switches between history displays and the other toggles between showing the temperature in either Celsius or Fahrenheit.
The humidity level displayed matches closely with the level given on the dehumidifier so I’m confident it is reasonably accurate.
This unit does just what I want, at what I think is a very reasonable price, and I’m happy to give it five stars.
This is a small, accurate thermometer.
I’m using it in my greenhouse so I can keep an idea of the humidity and temperature in there.
It has a magnet so you can use it in your fridge but I’m using the little stand to good effect.
It comes with the batteries included and is ready to go straight from the box.
The three-inch-plus screen makes this far more user-friendly than its smaller competitors.
You can change between centigrade and fahrenheit at the flick of a switch.
Highs and lows for both temperature and humidity are displayed, either for the day or historically.
There’s an integral stand or it can be screw-hung or attached magnetically.
DOQAUS Room Thermometer
This is an excellent thermometer with additional humidity readings. It’s compact and versatile as it can be left free-standing, hanging, or using the small magnet on the rear. The free-standing arm is plastic and although it still works fine, it doesn’t feel as robust as the metal stand on my previous thermometer.
It keeps pretty accurate readings, with the sensor upgrading the temperature/humidity every 5 seconds, and the additional option of high/low readings so you can monitor variability. The larger-than-average screen is very easy to read.
A great little tool.
We were looking for something just to take the temperature in our front room so we ordered this room thermometer.
It’s came well packaged and comes with two AAA batteries already installed, all you have to do is pull the plastic tab out of the unit and it all starts working straight away.
There are two buttons on the back of it, one four on and off, and the other is for changing from centigrade to fahrenheit.
It has a nice big LCD display and it’s easy to read all the figures.
It has a display for room temperature and also a display for moisture content.
It also has a Max and min reading so you can see how hot or how cold it has been getting.
Overall this is just a really good house thermometer and that is all you really need to know.
Accurate. Matches others that I have exactly.
Fairly easy to read even in darker areas.
Takes 2 AAA batteries, which are easier to find than random size watch batteries that others use.
Took a lot longer than 5s to settle in. 20-30 minutes had it settled down to accurate temp/humidity.
