I’m not too sure about this product but I guess I will understand better about when I can read the instructions better, the writing is so small I am not sure if it is working correctly, because the blue for high voltage seems to only light up half the product.
I recently purchase this product it has exceeded my expectations in every way because the 4000V zapper packs a serious punch, making it incredibly effective at eliminating flies, mosquitoes, and other pesky insects with a single swing. The rechargeable feature is a game-changer, which means no more constantly replacing batteries. I love that it charges via USB, making it easy to power up whether I’m at home or camping outdoors. Therefore, this is a fantastic product that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a reliable and powerful fly zapper. Five stars!
Base-station based USB re-charging a decent upgrade over the bug zapper racket this swatter is replacing, but the reason for the 5-star review is the night-time ‘on stand’ performance, where this device excels.
Use it as a hand-held during the day but don’t expect it to pick-up many victims during daylight hours when on-stand, however if you leave it on at night (with its lights on) it attracts the smaller bugs it claims to be designed for, with regular ‘cracks’ going off as the racket takes another victim.
Impressed in short – it’s an effective addition to any indoor bug killing arsenal.
It’s reasonably sturdy and has a little stand so can be left on the side to do its thing. It can also be used a swatter. We’ve noticed far fewer flies since we got it. The few we’ve seen captured by it were not killed instantly.
This does is exactly as described, so far it has killed moths, gnats and flies, charge lasts a long time and is lightweight.
Seems powerful due to the spark it makes when an insect makes contact.
It appears that only half is working so I sent back the first one, but the replacement is the same along with other peoples picture so presume it’s meant to be like this. This ‘bat’ zapper works a treat. Found a moth who was unfortunately for him my first victim. The ‘buzz’ on getting him was so loud it made me jump and I caused it! This thing is very efficient! I’m now looking forward to the flies coming in and annoying me so I can show them what Karma is all about and that I don’t want them as lodgers, else this is what happens! It’s brilliant!! I’m going to love this!
Great product – I had a slighty cheaper one that required AAA batteries but it was quite flimsy and broke. I took a punt on this and I’ve been amazed how big a jump up it is.
Makes a reassuring snap, crackle and pop when the flies are dispatched to and the LEDs are great too.
Well worth the money.
Shaped like a tennis racket – as soon as this touches a fly its gets zapped with a crackle as the electricity does it job. Its rechargeable via USB-C socket and comes with a USB-A to USB-C charging cable. It has a charging base which is also the stand, and it can be left on with an added UV light to let the flies come to it rather than chasing after the flies. This is particularly useful at dusk when flies are most attracted to UV light. For protection it comes with a guard shield over both sides of the electric mesh which flies can go through, but deters curious human fingers trying to do the same.
This zapper recently proved a useful addition to camping, as could be used on battery inside the test to get rid of the sneaky flies who’d let themselves in.
