This is a great value bit of kit that includes all the tools you would need for a barbecue, its well made and feels very high quality to the touch, includes a little carry bag to pack everything away when you’re done, very pleased overall.
From the moment I opened the package, I was impressed with the quality of the tools. This is indeed a handy bbq set, comprising of 2 cooking utensils, 4 skewers and a handy zip up storage case (with 2 handles). They are solid enough and feel good in the hand, ideal for cooking your favourite bbq items. The storage case is handy and slim, keeping your tools in one place when not in use.
A decent bbq set, well made, ergonomic and worth a look.
This is not a huge barbecue kit, however the baking shovel is like 3 tools in one. Overall I like the way it is put together. It’s all quite solid with a nice finish and a smart appearance for not much money. My only quibble is that the case does feel overly tight for the tools that push against the edges and it should have been just a little longer.
With the BBQ season well and truly upon us, despite the periodic rain storms, it was time to think about the necessary tools. This set has the basics; tongs, flat burger flipper and skewers.
I do like that the two tools meant for holding have wooden handles which prevents burning your hand if the metal gets hot. The provision of teeth on the tongs is a good feature and should prevent food slipping away when you have grabbed it. I was also impressed with the length of the skewers which are other 14″. That allows for a good amount of meat or veg to be impaled for cooking.
I would describe the quality of the ensemble as reasonable. I do like that it is stainless steel which should ensure that it remains looking good and is easily cleaned but the edges need smoothing round. The included cloth case is quite good but should be just a bit longer to properly house the items. When I received mine the corner of the spatula had forced it’s way past the zip at the side but the case is very welcome and is a nice addition so that the set can be stored all together and brought out as a unit when the Barbie is being lit. Value wise, without the case, I would have said mediocre but the provision of the case elevates this set into the good value for money category.
