This is a high quality extension date made out of ABS plastic. Very solid construction and design. It has all the safety certifications on the back. Delete is not very long but for for my needs it’s perfect. The USB charger works flawlessly I have to note that it’s not a fast charger, although it has 3.1 amps output.
Price wise it’s not too bad with. Recommended!
The BEVA 4 Way Extension Socket is a versatile power solution packed with features that make it a must-have for modern homes and offices. With four AC outlets, two USB-A ports, and a USB-C port, this extension lead allows you to power up to seven devices at once, catering to a wide range of gadgets and chargers.
The 1.5-metre cable offers just the right amount of length for most setups, giving you the flexibility to place the extension lead where it’s most needed without being constrained by outlet placement. The inclusion of individual switches for each socket is particularly useful, allowing you to control power to each connected device independently, which is both practical and energy-efficient.
Quality is a clear focus here, as the BEVA extension lead feels robust and well-made, ensuring durability and reliable performance. The USB-C port is a welcome addition, meeting the needs of newer devices and reducing the clutter of extra chargers.
Mounting this power strip is straightforward, so you can keep your workspace or entertainment area neat and organised. The combination of ample outlets, USB ports, and a sturdy design makes this extension lead a smart investment for managing your electronic needs.
Overall, the BEVA 4 Way Extension Socket is a dependable choice that delivers excellent functionality and convenience. It comes highly recommended for anyone in need of a reliable and versatile power solution.
If you want my opinion (which you probably do if you’re reading this review :D) I don’t think you can ever have enough extension leads, just like you can never have enough pens am I right?
This one is ideal with 3 individual ports all with individual switches, and 2 USB-A ports. It is super handy and easy to use. The lights make it clear which port is on and which is not. The separate switches also make it easier to turn off instead of having to faff behind furniture to reach the socket.
The main cable seems pretty sturdy, and overall the unit seems to be well-designed. The device appears to be surge-protected (very nice to have), but there is no reset button, which isn’t too much of an issue, but would just be nice to have in all honesty.
The cable length is very short (1.5 metres), so I would have preferred this to be longer if I’m being honest, but I can live with that as it’s just being used as a spare as and when needed.
You can easily wall mount these as well, however, the screws pass through the unit rather than a typical ‘keyhole’ style you see on most leads, so this does annoy me slightly in all honesty.
Overall though, pretty decent extension lead and I’d recommend it!
3.5/5 – Decent Product!
Ah, I happened to order this at the right moment, just as friends decided to pay a flying visit, so I’ve not had chance to try this out as it’s been in constant use in the spare bedroom charging phones, tablets, Kindle, electric toothbrush and cameras for days. The opinion of my guests was that it’s excellent for having enough sockets and ports, even though the port charging wasn’t fast, but was fine for overnight. They did comment they liked that the sockets could be turned off on the extension as it meant they didn’t have to fiddle around to turn the main socket off behind the bedside table.
The extension lead seems well made and designed. The main cable is a heavyweight, sturdy one. The sockets have the appropriate safety gates, are set well enough apart to allow for chunky plugs, the individual socket switches turn on and off with a satisfying snap, and each socket has a red light which illuminates when they’re turned on. The body of the extension socket is nicely formed with rounded edges and feels solidly made. The info states the device has multiple built-in protections, but it doesn’t include a power surge reset button.
On first use I realised the USB-A/C ports work on basic charging capacity; my newest iPhone and Pixel phones didn’t register as ‘fast charging’, but I was charging them with other items plugged in. This isn’t a huge worry for me as I have a fast charger in the car, and always a powerbank on me, and everywhere else I’ve access to a charging cable.
I’m happy with how useful this extension lead is, with enough charging ports and sockets for my needs; it’s a handy, not over-large extension lead that feels sturdy enough and has worked really well for my visitors.
At time of review the price of the lead is 14.99, with a 2 off voucher, bringing the price to 12.99, which I think is a fair enough price for a lead that lacks a surge protection switch but has a good range of sockets and ports.
The Scoop
The BEVA Extension Lead is a 1.5m power strip with three AC sockets, two USB-A, and one USB-C port. It includes individual switches, LED indicators, and wall mounting options.
My Overall Sentiment
This extension lead is a well designed and functional electrical socket extension board. The combination of AC sockets and USB ports makes it useful for powering appliances and charging devices. The socket board has individual switches and LED indicators to enhance its usability, which allow you to independently operate each socket, if needed. The sockets themselves are well spaced outlets equipped with satisfyingly tactile switches. The included 1.5-meter cable is of good quality and terminates in a moulded plug with a 13A fuse. While the board itself feels slightly lightweight, it appears to be pretty sturdy nonetheless. While it claims to have several safety features to protect the sockets, the lack of a reset mechanism for those safety features is a notable omission. Even so, the inclusion of good quality, independent socket switches along with the USB charging ports set it slightly above average for an extension socket.
What I Liked
– Individual switches for each AC socket
– Good quality switches with a nice “clunk” when pushed
– LED indicators for each socket
– USB-A and USB-C charging ports
– Wall mounting capability
– Good build quality (if a little lightweight)
The So-So’s
– The socket board feels hollow and lightweight, but seems durable nonetheless.
What Didn’t Work For Me
– No reset mechanism for safety features (if triggered)
