I used this kayaking so did not get full immersion, just splashes. I did feel quite confident that it was going to protect my phone, the clip was very secure and I liked the fact that it would float if I dropped it. My touch screen worked ok and I got some great photos of us kayaking that we would not have got otherwise.
My phone (samsung galaxy s20) was none the worse for wear afterwards.
Well-made phone pouch, nice thin flexible material, of the type that I prefer, much better than the plastic type covers; however because of the flotation pouches the edges feel more like the plastic covers, with a distinct seam and difficulty pressing the side buttons. Decent size, plenty of room for a larger phone.
It has the typical two lever clamp mechanism at the top, which appears effective, and is made of a very flexible material, making it easier to insert the phone. It survived a half hour immersion test, without any sign of water intrusion on the old phone I placed inside, also floated well with the phone inside.
The phone case took my Samsung Galaxy A32 5G (6.5 inch display) without its case (I use a wallet type case so needs to be removed anyway, so the camera is not obstructed) and I could operate the phone really well, pretty much like it was not in the case, though of course finger print recognition does not work and the side buttons are difficult (you have to push the phone into a position where you can see the side buttons through the front clear screen to wake the phone up)
Having tested a number of these type of cases I personally prefer this very thin flexible TPU material, unlike some of the others that feel a bit more plastic, as it is easier to use the screen. The flotation pouches and the areas left clear means the phone has to be inserted in the right orientation to allow the camera and screen to work.
From the above tests and looking at the general build quality, I am confident it will do the job it is designed for, either to protect the phone or other valuables from exposure to moisture, won’t necessarily use it for full immersion but good for around the pool, boat trips etc when on holiday.
You can get lots of waterproof pouches, but most iPhone etc are now waterproof anyway. The real concern if you are doing SUP, kayak etc is having it drop to the bottom of the river or sea, not if it is waterproof. With this, at least your phone can float!
This case
* Floats
* Is waterproof
* is padded to protect the phone from knocks and bumps
* Allows full use of the phone as it is see through (calls are not possible)
* Looks different to other similar cases due to pearlescant finish
* Fits my iPhone 15Pro fine
* Decent value to protect your 1000 phone
* Comes with a lanyard to hang around your neck
This is a great waterproof case for use while in holiday or at the beach. It has a large capacity to take even large iPhone pro type phones.
It locks securely (if a little fiddly to clip and un clip compared to the rotating lock types of cases). It’s padded which provides some protection for your phone if using without its normal cases. However this does make this model of case quite bulky. It also makes it very hard to see or reach the side buttons to turn the screen off if required.
The screen stays touch responsive through the plastic, the cameras work including facial recognition and video and camera images are clear (just make sure to clean the case and dry well especially after use in salt water or it will leave salty streaks which will impair camera images.
The case itself is a bright holographic luminescent pink colour. I’d prefer it if it wasn’t so reflective but it’s attractive albeit more for women than men.

So my phone is already waterproof but if I’m doing watersports my main concern is I’ll drop it and it will sink to the bottom never to be seen again.
This phone pouch works perfectly for me, my phone just floats, its like a lifeboat!
They claim IPX8 and can be used for swimming. Considering it just has one basic seal I would be pretty impressed if that is actually true but I didn’t test it for that.
I also am very interested to keep sand away from my phone and this works well for that too.
As it only has one simple seal it is quite easy opening and closing the pouch.
I didn’t give it 5 stars as it is a bit sharp around the edges and if I wasn’t wearing a rash vest I can imagine this hurting skin a little. For the extra it would have taken to make the edges soft or smooth I think the manufacturer could have done better but for me this isn’t a deal breaker.
Tested this with a cotton pad inside the case and left submerged for 1.5 hrs, came back and prodded a few times in between this time to move the case around in the water. Pleased to say the pad emerged bone dry. This is a nice padded case that floats, so its handy to rise to the surface, when swimming
This is a very good sized waterproof phone pouch for swimming or just protecting your phone from sand and debris on the beach or by the water, or in the snow . It comes with very comprehensive instructions on the outside of the package and in an additional card inside the holder. It opens and closes reasonably easily but on closing you do need to make sure you have pushed the corners firmly into place to avoid leaks. I thought it was closed and on inspection the corner tabs hadn’t quite gone fully to the closed position . A good thing as the extra push to close is reassuring that it has sealed securely.
It feels slightly padded and will probably be helpful to protect your phone from bumps and scratches especially if you’re using it for snow type sports or situations. The padding will also help it to float too. A consideration to take on board if you’re going down deep in the water!
It says tested to 30m for half an hour but it also recommends you test it first with a paper towel for any water leaks. I think that is a good idea and far better to have a wet tissue than a wet phone and to have peace of mind that is keeping your phone dry.
The clear windows will help you using your smartphone camera to get some nice pictures.
It has an included adjustable lanyard that is a good size.
A really nice sized protective phone case .
