The usefulness of this trolley will depend on your personal circumstances and needs. For me, when I visit car boot sales, it’s a godsend. It’s easy to find bargains and accumulate a stack of purchases, but very difficult to then carry them. If you’re a serious bargain hunter, a trolley like this is essential. In the garden I can see it being of use if you’re harvesting an amount of produce, but in truth, my wheelbarrow is stronger, rolls far more freely, and is easier to wash when muddy.

This trolley is built quite strongly, and has some weight to it in consequence. It pops open without effort and clicks into shape. Folding it down again requires you to pop the latches closed again, and might feel like you might be forcing it a little too hard, if you aren’t used to the process. The wheels are small and hard, so you need to realise that they will not as smoothly as a large rubber tyre. Gravel and uneven surfaces can cause a struggle. Another reviewer complained that it won’t run on sand, but that’s not the fault of this trolley – small wheels will always dig into sand, and trolleys like this are not suitable for beaches.

For my car boot excursions, this trolley is excellent. Beyond that, I personally find the usefulness slightly limited. Needs vary though.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersMy partner had been looking to purchase one of these for some time now to use when visiting the various craft and garden exhibitions that she likes to attend. At these events you can be wandering around for hours and if you have made purchases of large or reasonably heavy items you need a means of carrying them around without wearing yourself out. This Folding Camping Trolley by Morpilot is a good solution to this problem.

We have seen many other people at events such as the Gardeners World Exhibition with these trolleys and therefore, when I saw this one on Amazon it was a good chance to try one out for ourselves.

What is particularly good about this particular trolley is how it can be unfolded ready for use in about thirty seconds and folded back up in slightly longer time, approx. one minute, but that is purely because the base board needs to be wrapped around the folded trolley in order to help hold it in its folded state. Then there is the convenience of being able to easily carry it around in the folded state by use of the webbing handle and its comparatively light weight. When folded it takes up very little room in the boot of the car Making it ideal for packing to take to events or days out.

I don’t suppose that it would be easy to pull the loaded trolley over soft terrain such as mud, gravel or sand but on a firm surface it is pretty much an effortless task to pull it along behind you, what makes it even easier is the fact that the two front wheels are fully articulated and the handle extends and locks at an ideal height for myself or my partner.

In use this trolley feels very robust and the materials used in its construction should give years of practical use, as such I have no hesitation in recommending this item.

5.0 out of 5 stars Robust and practical, easy to open out or fold up

    First impressions are good.

This is a pretty weighty and sturdy fabric cart. Popping it open and getting it ready for use is very easy and quick, just make sure that the centre of the inside of the cart does POP and click into place for things to be locked and ready to go.

Packing up is only slightly tricker – it feels a little like you might be aboutto break things before the cart suddenly pops again and collaspses.

Capacity is good for a small picnic etc, and it loosk pretty good.

My only reservation is that the wheels feel very plasticky and I wonder how long they woudl last over rough, hard ground such as stones etc.

We have taken this trolley on our trips to car boots, picnics and camping. It has served us well with no major issues so far. It fold really small so does not take up much space in the boot of your car. Unfolded it is quite spacious and sturdy, you can fit an amazing quantity of items (tents, camping furniture, suitcases etc). You do need to be careful not to overload and we bought a tarp to use as rain cover as this trolley does not come with one. It’s relatively easy to maneouvre, but does not do very well on sand. Overall, we are very pleased with this trolley and would recommend it.

I’ve always loved going camping and going on holiday but as I’ve gotten older it’s gotten harder to just stuff everything in a backpack and sling it onto my back. This has really come in handy for carrying anything you could possibly need off the path and has been a really handy tool to have around.

If you have a family, especially with young kids, and you want to take them camping then this will be an absolute godsend for you. You can carry everything you’d need for about 4 people to spend the weekend somewhere, everything from sleeping bags and tents to hiking boots and stoves. It’s honestly bewildering how much you can pack into something designed to be collapsible. You fold this up and stuff it in the boot of your car without taking up any space at all, and then when you arrive you can unfold it and load it up with everything else you had in the back. It’s brilliant.

At first I found the collapsing and unfolding to be quite tricky to get my head around, but after you’ve done it a few times you’ll find it really easy (maybe practise it a few times at home first). The construction of it is really durable too. This will easily stand up to general camping without flinching at all. I imagine you could even chuck it down a hill and it would be completely fine at the bottom waiting for you.

Another big plus I want to say is that the wheels are really well designed. I can drag it over grass (wet & dry), gravel, dry mud and even light sand without any trouble at all. The only times it started to get stuck was in deep wet mud and deep sand (like a beach). Those times it started to clog the wheels and started to just be dragged through it.

Overall this is an excellent idea for anyone that’s into regular camping, going to festivals or even taking on holiday. It’s sturdy, rugged, easy to fold in and out, and makes your life a lot easier. I imagine it would also be handy for older people with their shopping. It’s really a great little thing that I’m happy to own.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis is well made and is well priced at just shy of fifty quid. It’s very good value for money. However, it must be noted that if this is weighed down to be quite heavy then the wheels cannot cope well with sand. They don’t have enough surface area to spread the load. However, on hard surfaces and even grass it works well. For us, we are using it for beach trips where they car park is the other side of town from the beach, so we can load up and walk comfortably with all our stuff and unload at the beach, accepting at some point on the beach I’ll have to give up and begin dispensing it out. We will also be using it for other occasions like towing heavy stuff from the front of our house up to the shed at the back of the garden, for instance the chicken feed. It’s a real back Saver.
It looks and feels well made and I’m surprised at how good the quality is for a low price.
My one grip is the handle isn’t particularly long, it could do with having the option of extending.
Setting it up and folding it down is very simple. There is a know in the centre that twists to collapse or presses in to secure. The base of the trolley is removable and wraps around all of it when it’s collapse making it very easy to store.
It’s quite lightweight so storing it on a wide shelf is possible.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great for fifty quid. Not best suitef for sand though

This trolley is ok. But it is smaller than I imagined it to be.
It’s usefull for moving things around in the garden and maybe unloading lighter items from your car to your garden.

I personally didn’t find it that sturdy and the base doesn’t push flat to put things in neatly. This could either be a manufacturing fault or a design fault.

We did purchase a very similar product from a Supermarket that is more sturdy and almost twice the size for just a bit more money.

I would recommend it if it’s extremely light and smaller items you want to move.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersThe ‘Gathered Collapsible Mini Camping Wagon, 150lbs, Black’ arrived in a branded box.

I was surprised how small this wagon was when folded, so will take up minimal room in the car when needed. The wagon folds out easily to form its full shape, no ‘sticking’ joints making one side move easier than the other.

The handle must be pulled fully up until it latches, there is a fitting at the lower end that is released by a plastic ‘button’ to lower it, if this practice of latching the handle is not followed, the handle can drop, and from what I found normally on my toes.

The floor of the wagon is a simple drop in folded board. But it does provide a reasonably6 flat surface,

Once I had the wagon extended to shape, it felt quite sturdy, and moves freely on hard surfaces, though I cannot attest to how it will perform on a sandy beach. It has quite a good capacity, enough for two large suitcases.

There are two things I believe this wagon would have benefitted from; the first would have been a means to weigh the contents being placed inside to avoid overloading the wagon. And secondly a rainproof cover to put over the wagon and contents in bad weather.

UPDATE:- Tested on pea shingle with a full evenly distributed load and found it was was not the easiest thing to move, the wheels were sinking. My wife was originally pulling the cart and I had to take over due to the extra drag, but as soon as it was on solid ground again it was easy. Due to this issue I have down rated to 4 stars.

4.0 out of 5 stars Quick to prepare for use.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersJudging by the quality of the wheels I’ll be using this for light use only. The metal brackets holding the wheels are too thin and also the wheels have to much side play. I suspect hitting a bit bump might just cause some damage.
The handle is designed to come away when not in use and is virtually useless when manoeuvring it by pushing. Pulling is fine though, no problems on a pull.

The good points. It’s easily popped open and shut and the baseboard wraps around the trolley holding it all together when not in use. It’s a fair size and can be well stapped up but watch your weight. Two pockets add to storage with one having buckles and straps. Tabs to attach the bag to the legs and a couple of pockets for popping over the centre struts, just give the bag a bit of support. The stitching is well done and hopefully the material will stand up to some abuse, it feels like it should. The price is at the starting end for these trolleys with the majority I’ve seen being 50% dearer. They could be on a winner here…
