I have another brand of one of these that I prefer, but this one does the trick.
The other brand costs a little bit more, but feels that much better if that makes sense. This one has a sliding door on it and the other is folding. I haven’t decided if this one is a blessing or a curse. I’m sure it may be better in some limited situation, but I have a feeling I may lose this door.
It has the same aluminum construction and is definitely quality, I just think the other has a better fit and finish and is smoother to operate. That being said, none of that prevents it from doing the job it was meant to do.
This one also comes with a UV filter and cap, but I haven’t used it yet. If that’s something you will use than that should make up for the price differential.
Overall I’m satisfied with this and will enjoy using it for years to come.

This Go Pro frame mount is well constructed, made of aluminium alloy it’s lightweight, feels firm and safe and gives a perfect fit.
The inclusion of dual cold shoe mounts allows for the flexibility to add a fill light or microphone for example together with two universal mounting threads for tripods, selfie sticks and other camera accessories without needing adapters. This makes the frame very practical and quick to access which is ideal for adventurers and content creators alike.
It’s a good balance between protection and utility without being too bulky and it doesn’t affect the functionality of the Go Pro allowing full access to the side door for direct charging.
Magnetic folding fingers let me attach and swap mounts quickly and are retracted when not in use.
The magnets feel strong and work well.
It arrives with mini screws, Allen keys, a cleaning cloth, the filter base, a UV filter and a lens cap.
Overall, in my opinion it’s a great addition and a clever piece of kit.
