Been using this keyboard for quite a while now, and finally got the time to write my thoughts on it. Coming from a simple gaming mechanical keyboard from another brand, these feel a whole lot more premium and money’s worth. I’m not an enthusiast or anything, but these are perfect for anyone who wants to start dabbling into the world of keyboards/switches/keycaps. It’s sort of heavy due to its aluminum frame, making it feel more durable on table in my opinion. The cherry mechanical switch that it comes with is easy to type with and clacks just as loudly. I’ve switched to jelly keycaps to showcase the RGB even more, which one of the reasons to buy this keyboard. I like that they have a version that kept the numpad which I do use, but the way they crammed it so it’s more compact without much dead space on the keyboard is just such a nice touch. It’s simple plug and play, and if in the future you want to change the switches or even mod the keyboard, you can do it with this keyboard. It is expensive hugely due to the RGB lighting, but you do get what you pay for.
Well I wasnt sure on if this woudl be the type of board i was looking for, but I should not have worried.
Great feel, look and amazing to use.
One key was a little doddgy on press, so i switched it to a less used key, all good.
The layout is different… but not bad at all.
RGB is good and easy to setup. Software is ok, need to change the macro to not be as its typed if you like…. its been requested for years.
Massive upgrade from my Razer Green switch board.
A point to mention, this keyboard is very high, meaning you will need a hand rest, even with the legs being closed.
Also, the keyboard is very heavy.
My only suggestion is go for this keyboard, and get a hand rest.
