The HAFOKO Insta360 X4 frame cage set arrived neatly packed in a plain cardboard box.
In the box you get the main cage frame, a silicone lens cap and a tempered glass screen protectors.
The cage is well built from aluminium and fits the Insta 360 x4 snugly without having to use any tools.
All controls are still accessible when the cage is in place and as well as a GoPro style mount it also features a 1/4″ threaded hole for tripod mounting while the built in cold shoe mount adds to the overall versatility allowing more accessories to be mounted.
A good value kit for Insta 360 x4 owners.
Great price for an aluminum case. Other cases are 20 euros higher than this.
This has a side base screw on it so you can screw it horizontally on a tripod.

In terms of quality, the cage appears to have been well-made – it has a robust construction, with a sleek finish that is free from any rough edges. Both it and the other accessories have been properly machined/engineered to allow a perfect fit around all areas of the camera. The screen protector particularly is straightforward to install – it does not leave any air bubbles behind.
So far, I have been happy with how it has performed, but especially enjoy the extra grip that it has provided my camera with.
In summary, a good value item that I will continue to use.
Firstly, I wish this had arrived a day earlier, as our Insta360 took a tumble and is currently awaiting repair. This case could, I am sure, have made a difference, though since it was a forward drop from our Bushman 360 tripod onto shingle, perhaps not. There is no case that will give you 100% camera safety, but this looks one of the best options that I have seen.

This cage feels solid and well constructed.
It’s a tight fit, and nice and snug and adds good all round protection while being lightweight and robust.
The folding bars work well with GoPro accessories and the cage does not impede any functionality of the camera while allowing accessories to be attached.
Installation is quick, convenient, and secure and saves time overall.
I’m very happy with it so far, and have not encountered any issues and do not expect to.
It’s fairly priced in my opinion and I hope you find my review helpful.
