I own the original PS5 rather than the newer ‘slim’ version that doesn’t include a stand, but I was eager to try out this stand to see how it would look with my console. The stand arrived well-packaged and came with clear, easy-to-follow instructions, including diagrams for guidance, as well as the necessary screw to attach it securely.
The installation process was simple and straightforward. I just attached the included insert to the stand, aligned it with the bottom of the console, and screwed it in place. Once attached, the PS5 felt very stable and secure on the stand.
For those with the ‘slim’ PS5, this stand is a fantastic and more affordable alternative to the official version. If you have the older model like mine, the stand’s silver chrome ring adds a fresh and distinctive touch, giving your PS5 a unique look compared to the all-black plastic stand that originally comes with it.
First off, thisbstand fits both the original PS5 unit (as seen in my photos), plus the newer PS5 slim models. It is basically just a plastic plate that transforms the stand to be usable with the original PS5 unit.
Build quality is brillint for the price. Considering Sony sell the same quality built stand at almost double the price of this stand makes you wonder how Sony get away with it.
Assembly was easy, keep thebplastic sheet off if you have a PS5 slim, put the plastic sheet on if you have the PS5 original. Screws into the base of the PS5 as the one that came with the origibal model did.
This stand feels more sturdy than the one Sony provided with the original unit, plus with it being an Aluminium ring, its very sturdy and functional.
The design is excellent, matches Sonys very closely. Plus this well even fit the PS5 Pro when that comes out on November 7th 2024.

It will fit either the PS5 Slim or original PS5, both digital and disk. It doesn’t claim to fit the upcoming PS5 Pro but there’s a good chance it will as it’s the same width as the Slim.
Fitting is very easy. It has a place to store the screw hole bung which made me think, hhmmm, where’s my screw hole bung…
It’s pretty much the same width as the original PS5 stand so offers about the same stability which is plenty in normal use.
It’s made from plastic with the visible part being polished steel it looks pretty nice in my opinion.
Overall this does the job, looks good and is priced sensibly.
Got this today amd fitted it immediately. It’s so easy to fit using the supplied screw to attach it to the base of your PS5. I have the original disc version and it fits perfectly. Not as wide as the OEM stand which makes it easier to place on a smaller shelf.
Build quality for me is damn good for the price of it. Design is good and looks good.

The PS5 slim with drive dont get me wrong, stands (ha) fine by itself. Adding this just gives it a touch of extra stability and is a fair price.
Comes with the stand, some instructions and a screw to keep it fixed well to the console.
This is a nice cheap way (relatively speaking) to protect the console from falling over if you are a fan of standing on its side. Also stopped the cat knocking it over so easily too as a bonus!
This is a great idea for keeping PS5 console in an upright position.
I like that it has an adapter so it can be used for either a PS5 slim or the standard PS5 console – this is useful if buying as a gift and don’t know which version the recipient has.
It’s simple to install even without instructions – instructions are included but it’s so simple they’re really not needed. It’s a decent weight, feels well made and should ensure the PS5 is kept in an upright and stable position, it also lifts it a little from the table or desk surface giving a little more airflow (always useful for cooling purposes).
At 13.59 (as at 17 September 2024) I think this is a well priced, useful accessory that would make a great gift and be appreciated by pretty much any PS5 user. Definitely worth considering.
J’ai pris ce joli support PS5 afin de remplacer mon support classique en plastique noir.
Celui-ci l’avantage d’tre plus petit et plus joli visuellement tout en tant bien solide (surtout quand on place la console sur un meuble visible).
Il s’adapte parfaitement que a soit sur ma PS5 ou ma PS5 Slim (il faut cependant retirer la plaque amovible afin d’adapter sans soucis).
Pour le prix on a un support esthtique et similaire celui vendu par Sony tout en tant moins cher, je recommande !
