Got to use in AIR bnb and hotels as I have anxiety of hidden cameras and recording devices. Got an upcoming holiday but have already tested it out in our home and it very accurately detected our smart phone cameras and alarmed. Now will put to real test in a couple of days and I’m sure it will not disappoint! Would recommend
This really helped me to relieve some anxiety when using a hotel or air b and b.
It tells you if there is a WiFi signal in something that shouldn’t have it in the first place – like a mirror or an air freshener. I tested it fully on all my own devices at home and it recognised all of them without making any mistakes. I think in this day and age it’s useful to have one if going to stay in a hotel.
I got this because I keep hearing stories of rentals and better to be safe than sorry, this is easy to use and spot cameras or infrared lights. A little loud when pressing the buttons but apart from that a very handy gadget for privacy protection.
Perfect for taking with you to hotels for work or holidays.
Small and can fit in your pocket or easily in a bag, tried with a camera I had and was able to detect so glad to know it works as advertised.
Hopefully I don’t have to find any hidden cameras but at least it’s peace if mind to have.

Feeling secure during travels was much easier. The detector identified hidden cameras and other spying devices effectively. Its compact design made it easy to carry, and the adjustable sensitivity settings ensured accurate detection. My wife is concerned over privacy when travelling and staying in airbnb or hotels. I bought this to help allay her worries so she can check for hidden cameras, tracking devices etc.
We haven’t tested it in a hotel yet but have trialled it at home. I have a number of wifi cameras and it easily identified them all. The sensitivity of the tester can be increased/decreased as necessary.
The tester can detect wireless signals, hidden cameras, IR and strong magnetic fields (not sure what that’s for).
I’ll update my review if we find any hidden cameras when travelling!
