It’s very light, has plenty of features, it’s pretty customisable and the battery lasts long.

Not sure about accuracy etc but I don’t care much personally if the step count or heart rate numbers are a few points off.

    Cons:
There’s no screen lock / accidental touch protection which would help a lot in all scenarios, especially when I sit down and cross my arms – it records it as long touch and goes into screen edit.
The “glass” could be harder too as after a few bouldering sessions, the screen has multiple scratches.

I have been using this Band 9 for 5 months, all appeared good but, since purchasing it I have been concerned that my heart rate seemed abnormally high while exercising. I finally got around to checking the band against a Polar belt and, also by manual checking my pulse rate while exercising. The band appears to correlate accurately up to 140 bpm, after this there is discrepancy that gets progressively worse as heart rate increases. At an actual rate of 145 bpm the Band 9 was registering approx. 160 bpm. At an actual rate of 150 bpm it showed upwards of 170 bpm.
It is a shame because in all other respects I am quite happy with the band but, if anyone wants use it to monitor health more seriously than myself this discrepancy may render it quite useless.
I cannot be bothered with returning the item (it wasn’t too expensive), so I just use it now primarily for its other functions. But, others may want check the accuracy of their devices in case this is a common problem.

Very good watch with a quality display. Lighting fast charging. The watch is a great stylish size and the screen clarity is spot on in bright sunshine. The app and watch have great features. Battery lasts me over a week with a charge of less than an hour. My other half was impressed so she bought herself one.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI’ve bought this watch as it was saying that the watch would keep the swimming statistics and because its good price. I’ve been using the phone for 3 weeks. I like its swimming statistics, similar to iwatch’s ones. You can see the sample screenshots as attached. I think it provides a larger step count or distance than the actual ones for walking and running. But I am not that much professional and its correctness is enough to me. I can follow my sleeping reports and my weight. I use Huawei’s own app, and I think it is good enough as well.
I have a thin wrist. Its size fits to my wrist very well. It doesn’t sweat my wrist and looks beautiful. Its size is specially nice for ladies, might be a little small for men. Material is good quality. Battery time is good. I needed to to charge weekly.

5.0 out of 5 stars Happy with my new smartwatch

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThere’s a few things I love about this watch:
Appearance- Smartlooking watch light weight feels like a part of me and not too big.
Battery- Battery life last long and the charging is supper quick.
Performance The watch performs well and keeps track and pretty accurate.
All in all the watch is very good for the price it helps me keep track as I’m exercising it’s easy to read and use it notifies me when I’ve reached my goals which is really helpful. Definitely recommend.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersBought this mainly because of its size, it fits nicely on the wrist and isn’t massive like alot of others. It’s also thin, very lightweight and comfortable. Screen looks good and is clear, even in bright sunlight. Functions work well, battery life is good and connects well with Strava app which I use. Notifications work well. Emojis don’t show up, not a big deal but mentioning because they showed up on my last smart watch which was a Mi band 8. Overall I would recommend and glad I purchased. Just to note, I’m using on an iPhone so simply downloaded the app from the app store. I believe you have to download the APK file for the app if using on android.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersMy TomTom finally died and this has been a super replacement. Lightweight, not at all cumbersome, perfectly sized face which can be changed as often as you like. A band that isn’t too thick and an amazing battery. Use it every day to ensure that I’ve done enough steps. It advises when you need to get up and move around and is also accurate with heart rate which is also useful. You can also receive emails and has lots of other features but I did not require that. The only reason I have not given it five stars is that one doesn’t know how long it will last. However I am amazed what you get for the price. Highly recommended.

Golden Review Award: 20 From Our UsersI’ve had a Huawei Band 6 for last 2 years which has been rock solid – and it has a rough life on my wrist. So decided I would treat myself to a Band 9 as it now has calendar sync. Not much different to look at – new strap design, some under the hood software advances. Still has amazing battery life. Enough data for my needs – HR, SPO2 etc. Sleep tracking seems reasonably on target. I don’t use the workout modes but the timer and stopwatch always handy. I also use the notifications function. It can now set 10 alarms – up from 5 on my Band 6. Band 9 has auto adjusting screen brightness now so they must have added an ambient light sensor. I did consider the Huawei GT4 but they seem just so big to have on my wrist plus they are 5 times the price. Cannot fault this watch really – great value for 50 quid – it does all I need and is very well made. It also tells the time!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great little smart watch.

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersI bought this for my daughter, who is very pleased with it. The strap accommodates even small wrists. The pulse and SPO2 functions work well and she likes the fitness tracking and phone notifications. It’s also possible to trigger the phone camera and control music apps.
Like all Huawei watches, battery life is phenomenal. Easily lasts 10 days.
The only catch is you have to use the Huawei Health app to pair the watch. The watch is completely unusable without this app. However, once installed, it paired easily and provides good functionality to monitor health stats and customise the watch face. You can even sync alarms set up on the phone which gently vibrates the watch for a civilised waking up.
For the price, you can’t go wrong really.

Golden Review Award: 72 From Our UsersI have been using this for a few weeks now and I am really happy with it. Get loads of use out of one charge and it has been very accurate with all the stats. You can (not easily, but it’s possible) change the watch face to suit your style and mood, just a shame almost all of them have the wrong date format so I had to find one without the date. Simply refuse to live my life with a watch that thinks the month should be listed first lol. I turned off the auto-wakeup feature as I was getting tired of being flashbanged by my watch when rolling over in bed, so I now just click it once on the side to see the time, heartrate and steps etc. Turning that off also preserves a lot of battery. Not that charging was a chore at all, it charged to full in no time using the usb port on my pc. It weighs more or less nothing, it’s not bulky at all and despite a couple unfortunate bangs it’s still working perfectly and screen is fine.

I changed the strap to a nylon one I bought off Amazon as I really can’t stand the silicone ones. It was super easy to change strap, took me literal seconds and needed no explanation. I found a couple options for strap replacement, including a metal strap, so all hope isn’t lost if you hate wearing silicone as much as I do.

Can only recommend this, it has been utterly brilliant and great value.
