Supplied in air tight sealed clear packaging, easy to open and just drops nicely into my P-Touch machine. Print is clear and obviously high contrast and easy to read as it’s black on white. Width is 8mm as stated. The backing peals away nice and easy once you’ve got the knack of how to do it and it adheres well to most smooth surface. Good value compared to the manufacturers products.

These tapes should work in any Brother printer that’s designed to take either TZ (the older ones) or TZe (the newer ones with the big hole in the corner) tapes. The photos show the tape being used in a newer E550W handheld printer and an old 7600.

Some compatibles tend to be a bit loose in newer printers such as the E550W, in the past I’ve found myself having to wedge a piece of plastic between the cassette and the lid to stop random “No tape inserted” errors partway through printing. I’m pleased to report that doesn’t appear to be the case with the ones sold here; they click in nicely and work properly.

Print quality is spot-on, the tapes have good adhesion and the backing paper is split – as with newer Brother tapes – to make the labels easier to peel and attach.

In short, they seem as good as the official Brother ones, but are significantly better value.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good value TZ compatibles

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersPositives:
      Good quality prints
      Fast print speed
      Lightweight and compact printer
      The price
No ink costs as no ink required
Easy to print from mobile devices. App works well.

      Negatives:
Misleading information on product page about how much paper is on the included roll (it just says one roll included leading me to assume that it’s a standard roll of 100 pages, this is not the case as it only printed ~25 pages before requiring replacement. Would have purchased extra roll at time of purchasing printer if I’d known this was the case. Essential printing task with tight deadline now delayed further due to this.

Things I found to be an issue but ymmv / may be my own fault because I’m clumsy:

I found it difficult to initially install the paper and it ended up taking 20-30 minutes and I had to watch a YouTube video to get it right and not get the red error light with three beeps. Included instructions on correct installation of paper unclear.

Also I cut my finger immediately upon opening the cover because I touched the blade used for tearing the paper.

This portable wireless printer is handy for anyone travelling or doing corporate events as it’s extremely small and compact yet still prints out well when there’s no printers around that you can use.

It feels solid, well built and looks and feels more expensive than it’s price point which is a huge plus for this printer.

It comes complete with rechargable battery to make this truly a portable printer, which is also inkless and prints onto thermal paper.

This thermal printer seems to be better than most at actually printing detailed text which can be a letdown for most printers of this type, but this one is the strongest one I’ve seen yet so another plus there for this printer.

The downside to this printer is the thermal paper which uses their own brand paper so that can cause your printer paper to become a little more expensive but on the flip side the prints you do will be more detailed so swings and roundabouts

If you want a printer you can put into a bag or suitcase and take with you on the road, where you can print out decent prints on the move then this is worth a look

It looks good, feels premium and prints well.

I received this iDPRT MT890 Bluetooth thermal printer for review.
Initially I fully charged the thermal printer’s 2500mAh lithium battery via the USB C port, this only took about 1 hour as it was partially charge. The printer is compatible with a wide range of devices including, iOS and Android smartphones, Mac OS, windows, chrome and Linux PCs, although I have not yet tested it with a PC. This iDPRT thermal printer it requires the HerePrint App which is available on both the Google Play store and the Apple App store, I downloaded the Android version for my Samsung mobile.

The printer comes fitted with a roll of A4 thermal paper, being portable having the paper inside is very useful. This will also take other paper sizes. In addition, the printer was compact and lightweight, making it ideal for travel. It is effective for printing documents, receipts, and images at reasonable speed. However, don’t expect the print quality to be as sharp as that of traditional ink printer. What I found surprising, was the printed paper comes out quite flat.

The built-in lithium battery has not required recharging as yet, and as I usually carry a power bank with me if traveling, I should be able to top the printer battery up easily.

Running costs for this printer are still quite high, there is no ink costs, but rolls of iDPRT A4 Thermal Paper are expensive. You can expect around 30 A4 sheets from each roll.

Overall, this is a good portable thermal printer, ideal for A4 text documents. Just don’t expected laser sharp text.
I hope you find my review useful and helpful.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good travel thermal printe
