This walkie-talkie is fully compliant with PMR446 standards, making it legal to use across various European regions without the need for additional licensing. This eliminates concerns about violating local regulations, making it a hassle-free option for travelers and professionals alike.
The detachable belt buckle is a standout feature, allowing quick removal and attachment without tools. It also supports hands-free communication with the VOX function, adding convenience, especially in active or hands-on environments.
The inclusion of fluorescent buttons that glow in the dark enhances usability, especially in low-light conditions. The one-touch channel lock function is a practical addition, preventing accidental channel changes and ensuring stable communication.
Equipped with a 1000mAh lithium-ion battery, these walkie-talkies offer an impressive standby time of up to 118 hours and 18 hours of talk time, providing reliability for extended use without frequent recharging.
The one-button frequency copy feature is particularly useful, allowing users to quickly synchronise with other devices without complex programming. This makes it compatible with a wide range of walkie-talkie brands, enhancing its versatility.

These walkie talkies offer decent performance for basic communication needs. The long range is helpful, and the one-touch frequency pairing is a nice feature. However, they feel a bit bulky and the audio quality is only average. They work well enough for casual use, but if you need a more reliable or durable option, you might want to explore other models. They’re functional but have some limitations in terms of build and audio clarity.

I gave this to my daughter and her neighbour. Its easy to use, seems sturdy, as for me, I need longer range, but for that price you cant go wrong.

These are very light, compact and easy to carry in a pocket (though it’s easier to hear someone calling if you use the provided belt clip). When you switch on, or when you press the up/down channel buttons, a recorded voice calls out the channel number. Other than the two channel buttons, there is just a volume control and a press-to talk switch.
The sound is very clear and the units work perfectly at a couple of hundred yards, while one of the units was indoors and I was outside with the other unit. I have not yet fully tested it to see just how far the reception will work, or what is meant by ‘long range’, but so far it seems to be a very capable pair of handsets.
It’s a shame they come with a non-UK charger (it has a European two pin plug), but you can always use a converter, and I am finding that the handsets charge perfectly well with any USB C charger (though the instructions do tell you to use the provided charger, so you have to make your own choice on that). The handsets each have a red charging light, which changes to green when fully charged.
A call function might have been useful, to help draw attention when being called, but of course that may have made it more expensive. Other than that, it’s a perfectly functioning & useful pair of walkie talkies.

I like the look of these, but the plastic feels a little cheap. Once the battery is in the extra bit of weight helps them feel a little better in the hand.
The battery compartment was a bit of a pain to open up. I ended up using a small screwdriver to poke the cover open from the top, and then using flat knife edge at the top back to pop the back cover off. Even then I managed to slightly damage the plastic on them.
The battery just slotted in to place and the cover snapped back on just by pushing it down.

It has a kenwood style headphone socket, with a matching ear phone. Below that is the USB-C charging port. This can also be used to program the radios with CTCSS or limit channels etc.
Channel selector is a rotator at the top, and also acts as a on off. The radio has quite good English sounding voices that call out the channel name.

At 0.5w power, these are as powerful as any other PMR radio on the market. However, they do support all 16 channels instead of just 8.

There is a plastic belt clip that you can use, but these are so small and light you can just put them in your pocket.

Just remember that these are open to anyone else who has a PMR radio, and you might be able to hear them but not talk to them as the CTCSS codes that can be set on your radio do allow you to block others from talking to you.

That being said, from my testing I was able to do just under 3miles line of sight without an issue with these. If you can get up on high ground they work great.

Note: Came with non UK power adapter for charging. Recycle it and use a regular USB-C phone charger.

5.0 out of 5 stars Nice PMR Radios

when the package first arrived it was in good condition, it contained everything you need batteries, cables, ear pieces and a charging cable, would have been better if it had a UK plug rather than a european 2 pin plug but they charge just fine using any USB C charger, once you have worked out how to insert the provided batteries which involves prising the back off as you used to have to do with mobile phones but there is nothing in the instructions to tell you this, the instructions also talk about loading the software so you can alter things like squelch whatever that is, but there is no software and you don’t need any software it is this simple insert the batteries by removing the back off the units, charge the units, switch them on and listen it tells you it is on and then what channel of the 16 is being used if they don’t both report the same channel use the + / – button on the side to change the channel on one of them to match the other once that is done you can use them press the big button to talk and release it to listen the sound quality is good but could be louder, if there is a lot of interference change the channel on both of them again to the same channel to see if you can improve the reception, it is that simple had the instructions been good I would have given these 5 stars they are small easy to handle, easy to use with a good range of around 1.5 miles for me but I don’t live in a built up area so it could be less for others.
