Already paid off.. buying and selling cars means sometimes you have to drive cars back with your team. We used these to communicate between eachother on how the cars were driving and if anyone had any immediate questions and also altering my drivers what junction to take. I also most took a wrong turn and thanks for these, I was altered to make a turn. Good quality, light and very easy to use.

Range: it only really worked within a 1.5miles range, just wished it was a bit longer like 5miles or so.. otherwise band on the pound for the value.

We used it for our trip in 4 different cars and even got range more than 5 miles on road. And turned out to be very helpful in places with no mobile access.I’m happy to choose this product.

I bought these to use with my cousin on road trips, we just did a 500 mile round trip from Holyhead north wales to Cardiff south wales , they wer great!! Range isn’t amazing but adequate enough for the purpose, sound quality is pretty decent and battery life ain’t to bad . Easy to handle and a very good price! Small enough to handle while driving too.

Bought it for my son to play hide and seek with firends. Very good distance coverage without disruption.
Boys had fun and were overjoyed. Battery works well and lasts long, definitely value for money and would recommend

OK, I haven’t used these in anger yet, so can’t talk about range or battery life.
If you’re happy to use them as-is, then fine. Your main problem will be that the charger units don’t make reliable contact. You need to wiggle the radio to get the light to switch to red (charging). I’ve actually opened my charger units up and bent the spring contacts forward. However, there is a rather more reliable though less convenient charging option via USB-C socket (lead provided.) The charging bases also misleadingly give you a mains voltage input specification, even though they are set up to charge from a 5V USB socket.
If you want to configure your radios, you’ll need to buy the optional programming lead, http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0C6GLH9FD. This comes with a USB memory stick and a mini CD. The stick offers the correct utility, but initially it displays in Chinese. However, there is a Word document on the CD that guides you through the Chinese language menus to switch to English.
As is usual with far eastern products, instructions and guidance are scanty. My main interest was in setting up security codes so these sets would only talk to each other and reject other sets on the same channels.
My main disappointment is that there is no “beep” function to alert the user to an incoming call. Just a green LED.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThey work incredibly well , there’s 2 charging methods , perfect for charging them at home or on the go , they boot up promptly and the audio is crystal clear , would 100% buy them again. If you are looking for walkie talkies , you found the best ones right here. (Also the clip that is included with them is so handy for attaching them to stuff)
