I recently purchased the MagSafe Selfie Stick Tripod and I must say, it’s quickly become indispensable for capturing travel photos and videos. The magnetic attachment system is a brilliant feature, making it super convenient to snap my phone on and off without fiddling with clunky mounts. It feels solid and premium, and the carbon fibre texture is a nice touch.
The tripod’s legs offer excellent stability, and I was able to take some amazing group shots and creative angles with ease. The detachable Bluetooth remote pairs effortlessly with my iPhone, which is a lifesaver for those solo trips. However, getting the remote to work the first time was a bit confusing, with no clear instructions provided. Also, extending the height can be a bit stiff, but once set, it’s quite sturdy.
It’s not the lightest piece of kit, so I wouldn’t recommend it for long hikes or packing in a suitcase for air travel. But for day trips and casual outings, it fits neatly in a rucksack. At 28.04, I find it reasonably priced given the quality. Overall, it’s a well-made and functional gadget that certainly makes taking photos a breeze, but just be mindful of its weight and initial setup.
So far, I am quite happy to own it. The built quality is great and feels premium. It is quite robust and seems durable to last longer. Versatile and easy to attach my iPhone to it. Can extend a lot and perfect for taking nice selfies. Can also be used as a tripod stand.
The only downside is that it is slightly bulky and not very lightweight.

K & F a great company, i have had some great stuff off them in the past. This however has limitations which lets this down. The tripod itself is great, not the sturdiest but good enough for a phone. It folds up really small on compact and looks pretty cool. Now the thing that lets it down is the fact that you HAVE to use it with a MAGSAFE phone case. My phone does have this case which is fine, howover maybe I would like to use it when I dont have that case on my phone. or maybe I would like it to hold a fill light or a go pro. There is no way to attach or for the tripod to hold anythng else apart from a magsafe ring. I feel this is a big let down for the tripod.
After purchasing this MagSafe Selfie Stick Tripod t’s quickly become my go-to thing for capturing travel photos and videos. The magnetic attachment phones is super convenient – no more fiddling with phone holders or cases that get in the way. The magnet seems strong enough to hold my phone securely, even when it’s extended to its full 63 inches. Plus, the tripod legs provide excellent stability for still shots or group selfies. The detachable remote control is a nice bonus, connecting to my phone bluetooth was more than simple. Doing this allows me to trigger the shutter from a distance. It’s small and light enough to keep attached to the tripod without adding bulk. Overall, this is a well-designed selfie stick that’s perfect for anyone who wants to capture creative phone photos and videos on the go. The MagSafe functionality makes it especially useful for compatable phones.

FUNCTION: The product was wrapped in clear plastic. The first thing you notice is the weight, plus it looks and feels like a premium product. Out the bag the shaft is smooth to the touch although it has a textured appearance. The tiny remote is clipped into the front. This did not come with any instructions.
There is a brass coloured screw located just below the top. Once turned this releases the three legs and they can be pulled apart to form a tripod. The inner tubes pull out to extend the length/height of the stand. These are really stiff and tough to pull out. I wonder if some lubrication would assist here? Once extended it is very stable.
It is about 31cm in length when it is collapsed, so not really suitable for a handbag, but okay for a rucksack. It is also quite weighty, so you really don’t want to be taking it hiking or putting it in your suitcase for air travel.
This attaches to your phone via Magsafe (a magnet enabled case), which is why it is only compatible with certain phones. This does come with a magnetic self adhesive disc, so perhaps this is for those that do not have a Magsafe compatible phone. However, I am not sure I would want to damage my phone by sticking a magnetic disc on the back.
It took a while to get the tiny remote to work. On the rear of the remote there is ‘open’ printed with an arrow. I thought perhaps it needed a battery, but I couldn’t get anything to ‘open.’ But then a tiny, tiny blue light illuminated on the front of the remote, and it paired with my phone.
At the time of this review the device was 28.04, which I think is reasonable and I would recommend.
This is a great piece of kit for a reasonable price. It is very versatile – not only can be used for selfies, great for group shots with the supplied remote control and the built-in tripod legs, but I particularly like the way you can almost use it like a fake drone. I took a quick video to show this.. Using my iPhone 14, you can make it look like you are using a jib or a drone (some extent. obviously not a high drone shot).
The materials used are ok plastics – which have a carbon look. The metal locking nut – for when using the tripod legs – can get hard to move, so do not over-tighten it. It is reasonably heavy, but if it really were made from fibreglass or carbon to be lighter, it would cost a fortune.
All in all, I’m very impressed with this and I think it would be very useful in a backpack or suitcase for those times when you need a group shot, Selfie, Or just some cool looking video.
While I abhor selfies, having a tripod to mount my phone on for the occasional snap or what-have-you is probably something I should have got around to ages ago.
So as I have awareness of this manufacturer from filters/lens covers before, I thought I’d give it a punt.
The good news is that there’s no assembly required, it’s ready to use straight away with a sticky magnetic ring to apply to a case should your case not have one. Holding the stick in the hand feels good – the carbon fibre texture makes this comfortable in the hand and while lightweight, it feel assuredly sturdy. Popping the legs out into the tripod configuration which can be set to quite short to rather tall is great, making it nice to transport for holiday purposes and also highly practical for a multitude of shots – don’t get me wrong, I will ALWAYS prefer my camera over my phone for photography, but sometimes you don’t want to cart all of that with you if you’re just out and about.
The Bluetooth remote integrates into the stick itself and is very easy to configure and use with my iPhone, meaning I can set up the tripod, get into position and take the snap effortlessly. Sure it’s more expensive than some other stick/tripod combos, but I think for the quality here it’s justified. I seriously have no issues with recommending this at all.
This Phone tripod uses a ‘Mag-safe’ system to securely hold the phone, It is easy to deploy and very stable in use, the ability to alter the height of the phone and its orientation make taking group shots a breeze. The included Bluetooth remote was easy to pair with my Pixel 8 pro and worked well. It seems to be well constructed, however it is is a little bulkier than some competitors products.

It is an amazing 63 inches when fully opened, compatible with ‘MagSafe’ too.
The maximum height of the selfie stick is up to 162cm (63 inches as mentioned) and supports 7-piece leg adjustments, so you can set the desired height as you like.
The selfie stick comes with a detachable Bluetooth remote control that allows you to easily take selfies and shots, how clever is that.
One of the major advantages, especially with modern day performance phones is the ability, as an example to take a photo of the moons’ surface in maximum zoom mode and of course a perfectly still camera. We have all done it, trying to take a photo of the moon in maximum zoom mode, while trying to hold the phone still, just cannot be done, but with this tripod, it really is no problem.
