The story of the founder
Our founder, a mother of two children, found that children were spending more and more time playing video games, so she decided to delicately handpick and improve some toys that engage children in real-life play. She cherished the special parent-child experiences and happy moments of nurturing their growth while experience and improving the toys with her children. In 2022, she founded Kid Odyssey, with a commitment to providing the safest and most engaging toys for children and helping them explore the unknown and grow happily on their journey of growth.

This is a fab bath toy, colour changing, soft to the touch and decent spout action. My friends daughter loved this, even played with it outside bath time! High quality toy.
A bath toy that can also do service as a nightlight.
It’s a general rule of thumb, of course, the more things a thing does, the less well they do them, and this does apply here.
Out of the water, it works well as a nightlight, complete with RGB that can be changed with the touch of a child’s hand. That would be great, and actually represent reasonably good value alone, but you would likely be using with the charging base, which then makes it a little wobbly for a child to do that. The bath toy iteration, which automatically starts a squirting mechanism through the whale’s spout on contact with water, does work, but to a much lesser effect than is shown in the listing.
Good value for money overall though, but I’d prefer it overall if it just did one thing really well.
It was my mate’s son’s 1st Birthday recently and I know how much his son loves bath time. So I got them this.
Parents were thoroughly impressed. Baby, just as much.
Note that although this is marketed at 3+ years, as it’s the parents who are bathing the child and it’s them playing with the toys (mostly), it doesn’t matter about it being used by a 1 year old.
The water spray, the charging, the lights – All worked great and that meant baby = happy too.
Yeah. Defo recommend as a bath toy.
Lost one star as it needs to be pressed to turn in and the location of this means that when my son bops it in the bath he will change the setting and often end up turning it off, meaning we (me or his mother) need to turn it back on.
Charging takes about an hour for full charge.
The pump works really well, and is also quite quiet. The whale is really bright and the colour show through the plastic case well.
Over all does exactly what we wanted it to, with the added bonus of not needing to dismantle it to charge.
The rechargeable light up spraying whale is quite awesome to a kid. But of course eventually the wonder of seeing it spray out water again will wear off. Good for some entertainment but doubt it will last for a long time.
