Brilliant build quality with a except read on the battery aswell as the fast charging ports does exactly what it supposed to do. Brilliant and at a good price too
Acquired item for my campervan build. Having already installed many alike items, I was interested to review this one. Order arrived on time and well packed.
This USB panel socket is very nicely made, it’s quality. The facing is metal, rest plastic (as such). The rubber cap (unlike many others) fits perfectly, well thought out with a cut out on the mounting to make sure it fits 100%. Well done…
Double USB A (18w) port & one USB C PD (30w) port. ON/OFF switch so I know it’s not draining my battery. Plus a nice clear LCD providing a voltage of the battery. Good for checking before starting up your vehicle.
Unit was supplied with some wiring that incorporated an inline fuse, plus some additional 10 amo fuses. I always run these plugs to a large fuse box providing me easy access for servicing etc. But it’s also good to have the cable fused close to the USB plug also.
Overall this is a superb socket. At the time of this review, 9.99 delivered on Amazon. Which is also great value.

I already have one in the front of my dog rescue van/camper but needed one for the rear of my dog rescue van/camper, as I spend a lot of time on the road so needed to be able to charge quick when I am in and out of the van. I got this second one to run the high powered dog fans at the rear of the van, plus with the other one being so good I was lucky when this one came back up to review again. The same as before I also needed something that would sit as flush as possible into the dashboard and chargers my Samsung Galaxy with no problems.
It is a nice sturdy feeling plastic USB charger; it looks a nice modern design and just about the right size so it does not stick out much as it seems to be a low-profile design. You get great charging speed with great durability. You get a nice bright LED Blue light that lights up the voltage meter in the centre of the sockets, making it easier to see battery level at night but you can also fully turn the socket off with it’s nice ON/OFF switch at the fron side.
I have found that the PD ports seem a lot quicker than the normal everyday 12v charging sockets, charging my phone (Samsung Galaxy with a USB-C connector) from 0% to about 60% in roughly 30 minutes and running my dog fans without any drop in power. So far it does not seem to overcharge and the temperature, so all seems to be fine. With it having sturdy body, it makes it really robust and also means it will not melt at high temperatures. It allows you to charge two devices at the same time, both recharging in a fast time. I did not use the supplied cable as I already have pre-wired cable in the van/camper walls, but the supplied cable seems a great thick cable that I will use in a different way.

If you want USB power in your older vehicle, or boat/caravan, and want that OEM look this is the perfect product.
This is a comprehensive kit to add multiple USB charging ports to your vehicle/boat/caravan.
Some nice features on this are the protective cover (appears waterproof) which still shows the vehicles battery voltage and hence charge/discharge state (useful). An on/off button — nice

Note: In order to get the specified maximum charging outputs you either need the cable which came with your device, or get an up-rated cable.
The package comes with fuses (10amps) and 60cm of wire to connect the device to a suitable power source.
Overall this is a very nice product and does what it says on the tin.
This Ktilura USB Charger Socket is quite good value as it contains the socket, a short amount of wiring – with an in-line torpedo type fuse (see photos) – plus a mounting plastic plate and two screws. It has a 12V outlet, two 30W PD sockets plus twin USB-C sockets with a LED voltmeter included. There is a dustproof type cover that is retained by a small length of moulded plastic so shouldn’t get lost. There are no fitting instructions as its quite basic as there are only two connections, which are clearly marked – & + but if unsure, DO get somebody qualified to install it. I have installed it in a small boat we share and use on the river at odd weekends but all I did was to cut a 38mm hole in the facia with a hole saw (because I have one) but all in all it took less than twenty minutes to do including wiring it in. Comes with cables and spare fuses, and and has a built in overload fuse to prevent fires.
Easy to fit – drill the right size hole, push it into the hole, and screw the nut onto the back, then just connect up the +ve and _ve wires using the fixings provided.
Even comes with a face plate to make a neat job of fitting it.
