I got this for my bike as I seems to have a lot of large and very large backpacks, but nothing really in a smaller size. There are many times I’m going for a cycle and need a few things, but not a lot like when I go to work or shopping so this looked ideal.
The is a great small sized backpack that is well made and I think looks really nice. It comes with a waterproof cover and also has some mesh at the front to store your helmet.
It’s got plenty of space to store the things I need and the zips are easy to open and close. Once adjusted, in use it feels lightweight and comfortable. As an added bonus there is a water bladder which is well made, but not something I’ll probably use on a day to day basis but great to have when I need it. Overall I’m really happy with this.

The bag measures 47 cm in length and 23 cm wide.
There are many convenient pockets and storage areas around bag all with appropriate zippers.
This bag is absolutely ideal as a cycling or running backpack due to the extra padding on the back of pack itself and arm straps giving extra comfort.
Accompanied with the bag are also a Hydration System that can be put into the bag with attached syphon for round the front of the bag and also a really handy water proof cover pack for those days in the UK when its raining and protecting the bag.
Overall the bag is very convenient to wear and is sized appropriately for sports and other outdoor activities where lots of movement is required.

I regularly ride my MTB and sometimes Hike so a backpack is one of my essential items. I have a 5L hip pack and 18L & 30L backpacks, they all have their use but there is a gap. I am increasingly finding the 5L hip pack is not large enough, but I do not want to use my 18L one (used for all day rides) due to its weight. The requirement is something that allows me to carry more on a MTB ride such as a camera and snacks, and to have a light weight hydration pack for hiking. This is where the LOCAL LION 10L Hydration Backpack comes in, its light weight and 10L size makes it perfect for some MTB rides and hikes. It is well made and has some good features but it is not perfect for the price.
Pros: good hydration bladder, padding for the shoulders and lower back and lots of pockets. Some nice little touches; the yellow tags on zips, the orange buckle, the place to attach a rear light, the hidden helmet bag and the rain/shower cover.
Cons: I wish the front section had two zips, opening like it does means things can/will easily fall out. The logo on the rain cover is upside down/the tie loop is at the wrong end, or ‘if you can read this I have a problem’.
