Not only does this Captain America mouthguard loom good, it also fits really well. Following the instructions to get a perfect fit was simple, and has resukted in a mouthguard that feels secure, stays in place and doesn’t cause any hotspots due to rubbing or fitting poorly.
Comes with a plastic storage case. Only issye is price as it can vary significantly between characters and pritectiin abilitues. So make sure to double check what you are paying for (for example brace guard) and wether you actually need it.
This mouth guard was got for my son as he plays rugby but most we have bought have been very uncomfortable and don’t fit to his teeth very well but this venom mouth guard fits nicely and sits very well offering great protection and very easy to use and clean very durable and great value for money
I am pretty happy with this marvel re-mouldable mouth guard. First off the look and design is awesome, it feels well made and the fitting process was easy to follow and to complete and once set it feels very comfortable in mouth.
I recently tried out a new mouthguard, and I’m thoroughly impressed with its performance. For anyone involved in sports that involve physical contact, a good mouthguard is non-negotiable, and this one certainly delivers on that front. Having a couple of teenages in the house who need mouthguards for some high school sports and their martial arts, I was really quite pleased to pick up this particularly cool Venom guard for one of them to try. We already have another Marvel guard that has worked really well, so we had similar high hopes for this one.
As with our other guard, this one didn’t disappoint. It’s easy enough to mould and I appreciate it being able to be remodelled if you don’t get the right fit first time. I was a little concerned when it arrived and it said it was for wearing with braces as my eldest doesn’t have one and I didn’t think it would stay in place. I hadn’t seen that detail in the listing but it is there (I just missed it). However, it has been worn for a few judo sessions so far (before going back to school in September to use at rugby training) and it has thankfully performed very well in addition to being comfortable to wear.
It’s a little on the pricey side for one of these guards (currently around 23 at the time of the review) and I’m not sure why as our other Marvel guard from the same maker wasn’t this much, but it is very good quality and if it works to save hundreds on dental visits from any potential damage then it’s value is worth much more!
Ordered for my 13 year old daughter who practises a few different martial arts and wears braces. She absolutely loves the gum shield that we ordered that has the Venom design.
It was straight forward to mould the guard — just recommend reading the instructions beforehand to understand fully and to help ensure a comfortable fit.
The supplied case is also good quality and a nice addition.
Per photos included with this review the packaging is great — which means that this would be ideal as giving as a gift.
All in all recommend this gum guard but feel at current selling price of 23 it is priced on the high side — but then again the Venom one does look very cool!
This is a single upper teeth, flexible plastic mouth guard used in active sports.
Arrived in a cardboard back plastic blister pack, heavily advertising Marvel Comic characters.
It includes an appropriately designed Marvel character designed, upper teeth mouth guard, storage case and instruction leaflet.

To use place the guard into just boiled water, leaving it for approximately 30 seconds.
Safely remove the guard from the water, shaking off any excess water, which also allows the guard’s material to cool slightly.
Insert the guard into one’s mouth to cover the upper teeth.
Swiftly wriggle/gently chewing perhaps, the guard in order to ensure a snug fit; use clean fingers to check the fit.
Repeat this procedure via recently boiled water, if the initial fit is not perfect or after a period of non-use.
Always rinse clean after each use.
Reading the instructions first is always best.
The storage case is difficult to open due to it’s snap-shut design, although this may ease with regular use.
If the Marvel Comics advertising appeals, then this mouth guard from a possible set of three, may be for you, however it is at a premium cost.
Other equally good quality mouth guards, without extensive advertising/different designs or colours are available for less.
Hence only four stars out of five.
Really nicely packaged and really well made. After following the instructions, getting this mouthguard moulded and in place was surprisingly easy (this is my second time doing it). I’m pleased with the fit (and the look of the Venom styling – it looks pretty menacing) and feel like it’ll offer great protection for kickboxing. I was a little worried about gagging, or having it press too far into the back of my mouth, but no problems with that so far. I also appreciated this coming with a case to store them in. Excellent.
My only issue is with the pricing. My other Marvel mouthguard by the same brand was 16.99, yet this one is priced at 22.99 (at time of this review) and that’s a big difference. I’m not against paying more for this type of product because it’s an important bit of kit – as they say, it’s far cheaper to buy and wear a mouthguard than it is going to the dentist. But I’d suggest checking whether you need the extra “brace guard” this product offers and, if not, do a quick search to see if there’s a cheaper option for the same branded mouthguard that’ll suit your particular needs.
Pricing aside, though, I can see any guy or gal of a any age LOVING having a Venom styled mouthguard to wear for their full-contact sports. Recommended.
