I bought a more expensive make of this type of bluetooth receiver to use when travelling by plane, I just hate the bog-standard headphones you get that don’t fit over your ears properly. When I saw the Mohard model I just had to treat my husband.

Although we haven’t taken a flight yet he has tested the receiver on the TV and tablet. Unfortunately, it didn’t quite work with the TV as he couldn’t regulate the volume, it was loud and wouldn’t adjust on either device. He then tried it with his tablet and it worked just fine and was easy to connect and operate. What would be really useful, though, is a little pouch to store it in. Just saying!

This is going to be a great addition to hubby’s travel kit, I just hope he remembers to charge it, something I always forget!

Arrived as described as pictured, safe and sound. This device works fine and is ideal for those who want to connect two sets of headphones to say a TV for example.

You can either use this as a Bluetooth receiver or transmitter to transmit audio from an older analogue device.

I’ve used this for Bluetooth headphones in the bedroom, his and hers if you will which solves the problem of sharing a pair of Airpods (one each) when it comes to watching hard to hear content late at night and not wanting to upset the neighbours joined on with a TV at high volume. This device works well for this application. When it comes to delay which is always going to be an issue with Bluetooth headphones, we’ve not experienced any noticeable problems though I do use this with an Optical to RCA adapter as the TV does not have a line out or headphone jack. This gave me the option to fine tune out any delay issue by adjusting the Optical out delay setting through the TV menu.

In the box you get a USB C charging cable and an odd looking jack adapter.

    Highly recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars Works fine, ideal for connecting two pairs of headphones to a TV.

The Mohard 2 in 1 Bluetooth 5.3 Transmitter Receiver arrived neatly packed in a full colour printed cardboard box.

In the box you get the main unit, an airline style double 3.5mm adaptor and an instruction manual.

The device is nicely made from ABS and is finished in black with white graphics and feature a built in 3.5mm jack plug on a short cable.

The unit can be used as either a transmitter or a receiver so can be used to add Bluetooth functionality to older equipment such as pairing Bluetooth headphones with a non-Bluetooth output or by sending Bluetooth data to a 3.5mm audio in socket from phone or similar.

Device works well in both modes and requires minimal setup.

Handy piece of equipment to combine old and new sources.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI was searching Amazon for a while for a cheaper option of the Air Fly Bluetooth adapter so you can use your own headphones on a flight. After reading many views saying there can be a delay in many models I realised a couple things, the Bluetooth rating of your headphones and adapter need to match to minimise the lag. My Bluetooth headphones are 5.2 so I bought an adapter which was 5.3 (I believe anything over 5.2 would pair well). There is a tiny tiny lag sometimes not even noticeable so I don’t think you need to spend the money on some of the more expense version of this. Just try and match them equally. This device is good, no problems with it and quite straight forward to use.

This review is for the ‘Mohard 2 in 1 Bluetooth 5.3 Transmitter Receiver, Wireless Aux Bluetooth Adapter – Dual Pairs for AirPods, All Headphones, Use with 3.5mm Aux Audio Jack on Airplane, Home/Car Stereo, Gym, iPad/Tablets’. This Bluetooth transmitter/receiver was provided to me free of charge for my review from Amazon Vine

This little gadget can both transmit and receive Bluetooth signals and can convert any device with a 3.5mm jack plug to have Bluetooth functionality, such as a TV, stereo, speakers or headphones. It can be powered by USB-C for permeant installation, e.g. behind a TV, or thanks to its in built battery can be used on the move. This pack also includes a double jack, often used on planes, so that you can convert the in flight entertainment to Bluetooth.

I tested this on some speakers to receive a signal, on my computer to send a signal, and then finally on a gaming headset. All worked well apart from the gaming headset, which usually uses a 4-in-1 3.5mm jack, and would only receive sound in one ear.

Buttons on the device are well labelled and switching between modes is easy. The manual claims a 230mAh battery and a 33ft working range. I cant find mention of the life of a charge within the manual, but the Amazon listing states a transmit life of 12 hours.

This Mohard Bluetooth transmitter/receiver plugs straight into your 3mm stereo jack socket and: in transmitter mode, transmits the signal from your projector sound out socket to your Bluetooth speakers; or, in receiver mode, takes the Bluetooth signal from your smartphone and runs it into the jack of your stereo system; or, any analogous combination.
The transmitter receiver unit is only 52mm long, 27mm wide by 13mm deep and weighs in at only 18g. It plugs into the socket and just dangles from it.
To get a connection, select the mode on the slider switch on the side – whether you want to run it as a transmitter or receiver – and then switch it on (hold the power button in for several seconds until it lights up) and let it pair. It flashes red and blue until it pairs than then it just flashes blue – when it is paired, the numbered LED lights continuously. Then, plug it into the 3.5mm jack socket of the device. To switch it off, hold the power button for around 10 seconds.
The unit works very well in both modes although the instructions recommend that it is not used for music live performance – the only thing that would produce this recommendation being latency which, in that scenario, needs to be no greater than being in the order of milliseconds.
It is powered from an internal battery that is recharged via the USB C socket
This is a great, little unit that gives you extra freedom when it comes to moving equipment around.

This device is incredibly versatile, allowing me to convert non-Bluetooth devices into wireless-enabled ones. I’ve used it both as a transmitter to stream audio from my TV to wireless headphones and as a receiver to play music from my smartphone on my older stereo system.

The Bluetooth 5.3 technology provides a strong and stable connection, and the low latency ensures high-quality, uninterrupted audio, even in areas with potential signal interference. It’s been great for watching movies and listening to music without any annoying delays or dropouts.

One of my favourite features is the dual-link connectivity, which lets me connect two headphones at the same time. This has been perfect for sharing audio with a friend during flights. The extended battery life is impressive, offering longer hours of continuous use on a single charge, which covers all my needs from commuting to long sessions at home.

This is a very neat little device, very light, small and compact, allowing you to connect up various devices through Bluetooth.
It actually has two modes, a transmitter mode and a receiver mode; you simply press a switch to move between the two.
I have only been able to use the transmitter mode but it worked simply and perfectly. I plugged it into the headphone port on my smart TV and, after connecting the device to my headphones, the sound from the TV came through the headphones. Useful as now I can watch the American football without my wife complaining about the annoying soundtrack!
The device can be switched to be a receiver, also. I haven’t tried this yet. I have a great hifi stack in the study but I can only play cassette tapes (I know, who has those anymore?) and CDs on it, whereas now I listen to music mostly through streaming. I thought I could plug this device into the amplifier and then play the music from my phone through the awesome speakers. Unfortunately, the double plug adapter that comes with device wouldn’t fit into the audio input sockets on the back of the amplifier. However, I was able to find an adapter to connect the devices 3.5 mm jackplug with two audio input plugs and plugged it in. It was then simple to set the amp to the input I had them plugged into and Bluetooth-connect the device to my iPhone. It played through the speakers but I was disappointed to find there was a lot of distortion to the sound coming out. I’m not sure why that is happening. I’ll have to investigate further, but this is why I’ve given the device 4 stars instead of 5. If I manage to correct the distortion, I’ll come back and change it up to 5 stars.
