Really good handle/small tripod, I use it with my RX100 vii. Connection is easy and quick. The remote can be used away from the handle so very useful with a bigger tripod. Plus price is so much less than the Sony one. Highly recommended.
eppiede compatto con controllo remoto comodo da impiegare con macchine fotografiche compatte.
consente di avere un’ impugnatura migliore sia a livello di confort sia a livello funzionale.
molto comodi i tasti per il controllo remoto della macchina fotografica.
qualit costruttiva buona.
Works perfectly with the Sony RX100 vii. The shutter release is bluetooth and was easy to set up with the camera. You can remove the shutter release from the tripod/camera grip so it is very versatile. Works perfectly. Very good for the price.
This wireless remote and tripod combo provides a camera holder and allows you to control your camera from a distance.
It features both a handheld grip and a mini tripod, making it ideal for travel and outdoor photography. The compatibility with a wide range of cameras, including the Sony ZV-1, RX100 VII, Canon EOS R, Nikon Z series, and others, ensures versatility for various shooting scenarios.
Furthermore, the wireless remote control feature allows me to trigger my camera remotely, which is useful when taking selfies, or group photos, or when my camera is placed at a distance. The build quality feels solid but lightweight, enhancing portability without sacrificing durability. It’s simple to set up and use, making it ideal for both new and experienced photographers.
The tripod’s height restriction, meanwhile, makes it unsatisfactory for certain kinds of shots—particularly when I require extra elevation or stability on uneven ground.
All things considered, despite its height restrictions, this remote is a useful tool that provides handheld stability and shooting versatility, particularly for travel and outdoor activities.
This product was sent to me for review, as part of Amazon Vine. The below is my own real-world experience of using it.
In terms of build quality, the unit as a whole seems fairly robust, though I thought I could feel some flexing in the plastic, when I held it up with my camera attached. My camera is not particularly heavy, and only had a 20-60mm lens attached, so it should not have been too heavy of a load. Despite this, I was able to hold it steady, and pan from left to right smoothly. The tripod legs are also a little uneven – most of the load-bearing appears to be in the front leg, so it can be unbalanced, especially if the legs are extended out fully (they have quite a wide spread).
The standout feature is definitely the remote control, though I will say that it is a challenge to actually remove from the main tripod in the first place – the holding mount is very stiff. Regardless, it pairs and functions well, with a battery that lasts, and recharges with the included USB-C cable – ideal for use with a power bank, making it super portable (great for outdoor filming sessions).
In summary, a good value item, with some extra care needed.
This is such a useful little product. It is easy to set up. I am using it with a Sony DSLR. It is simple to use and offer great functionality. Delighted with this product.
This wireless remote control tripod grip is useful little gadget that’s definitely improved my photography experience. It’s small and lightweight, making it super portable for travel. The remote control is convenient, especially for taking group photos or selfies without having to fiddle with the camera. I also like that it can be used as a tripod, providing some stability for those shaky-hand moments. Setting up the tripod is quick and simple, and it holds the camera securely in place. The grip feels comfortable in my hand, and I can easily switch between tripod and handheld modes.
For film making I generally use a gimbal although have always thought it overkill for my small cameras unless I have them rigged up in a cage.
This little fella is the perfect stop gap for run n gun style shooting and B roll combining a Bluetooth remote, mini tripod and short selfie stick – for pieces to camera – all in a small neat package.
Pairing with the phone was simplicity itself as is using the remote, I have found that I am now deferring to this rather than a tripod when recording talking heads at my desk, it’s quicker and easier than setting up a whole pro package.
I have read reviews that this is flimsy.
Sure it is all plastic but it is far from flimsy, you wouldn’t want to stick a DSLR on it or too large a lens on a mirrorless camera, but it has no issues supporting my ZV and A7 with primes .
This is a review of the Newmowa Wireless Remote Control Camera Tripod.
This is a product for the ‘selfie generation’ — or at least the more affluent ones who own one of the expensive compatible Sony, Canon or Nikon cameras. It is light (143g) and small enough to fit in your pocket, but it feels solid and robust. It can be held in the hand as a selfie stick, with the embedded remote control giving you thumb access to shutter control / video recording and zoom. Alternatively, it can be placed as a mini tripod on a flat surface, with the remote then removed to control the camera from a distance.
Attaching the camera is via a standard screw mount, which is tightened by a convenient thumb ratchet on the mount. You can then adjust the orientation of the camera both vertically and horizontally using the ‘press to release’ buttons on the front and side (no screws to tighten). The remote is rechargeable via a USB C cable (provided), so no wasteful button batteries.
An important point to consider, is that being able to use the remote to adjust the zoom will only really be useful to you if your camera is a model that has a screen that can be flipped to face you above or to the side of the camera. Also, the tripod is too small and light to support heavy lenses.
Overall, a nice little add-on to the premium cameras that it is compatible with, but I think the current price of 39.99 is a bit too premium for what it is.
