My phone volume is too low. I watch a lot of youtube & listen to playlists on it. Don’t know why I didn’t buy this before. I looked at a lot and compared price & reviews. This one came out among the best.
The sound & volume are great. Works during calls too so I am not straining to hear people speak. It is onnthe bassy side but I have high frequency hearing loss so that could just be me! I dont need the flashing lights, but there is an “off” setting.
It had a small instruction booklet that wasnt the most helpful. I’m not sure how the voice controls work. Came fully charged.
The best, most random thing about this item, was that I bought it in July and IT ARRIVED WEARING A SANTA HAT!! That is the reason for the 5 stars!
I very rarely leave reviews as find making time to do so a little difficult.
I really did feel I ought to make the effort in this case as I am so pleased with this speaker – It really is as good as everyone says.
I have had the Anker soundcore for about two years and still happy with it and also happily recommend this speaker as well.
The notabrick speaker though has the edge, It sounds fantastic and I am even impressed with the amount of bass it gives, it connects like a dream, lasts for hrs, is extremely tactile and easy to use.
It travels perfectly and is very convenient to use no matter where you are.
I got a little extra surprise when I opened the box as my speaker arrived with a little Santa Claus hat, I assume its overstock from Christmas but it put a smile on my face and I’m sure I will at some point plonk it on my little dogs head (Santa hat, not speaker) much to his annoyance.
So my advice is, don’t hesitate if you are looking for a (very) decent speaker at a great price.

Great speaker — easy to set up, reassuringly heavy and well-built and with an impressive sound. Long battery life, and rear-facing bass speaker really does the trick too. Don’t really have the lights on much (I mainly use it when I’m working at home) but they look impressive when the lights are off.
Only two very small quibbles — you have to press the button seven times to turn the lights off (it doesn’t remember your previous setting) and it doesn’t always automatically power off when the music finishes but these are minor points, it still gets five stars!
Really easy to connect to from a range of devices and the connection stays strong, with no skips at distances my older bluetooth devices struggled with.
Battery life is solid and it’s easy enough to charge.
The size and build quality works well me; it is small enough to still be portable, but robust enough to deal with a bit of rough handling for when accidents happen.
Good sound quality. For the price the sound is absolutely spot on.
The LED’s. My kids love the variety of colours and overall design; they say it’s like a little music robot!
The Con’s –
Despite overall sound quality being good, the max volume could do with being a little louder. It’s fine in internal environments, but when I take it outside it tends to struggle over the normal neighbourhood noises and people talking.
Not really a con, more of a warning regarding the shape – the little nubs at the bottom of the device could be better at preventing rocking and rolling if the speaker gets knocked. If its on an edge and gets knocked then this little round tube is probably going over the edge.
Overall a really good device for the price and I’m very happy with it for internal use!
