As to be expected from thermal paper, its quite thin. But even so, its decent quality with a nice sheen to it.
Works perfectly with the Phomemo M832 printer, with nice clean, clear images & text, and feeds in well.
Obviously it only produces grayscale prints, but this is fine for documents & the odd crossword puzzle that I print for my mum! You will get plenty of prints from the amount of paper you get.
If you have a thermal printer I highly recommend this paper.
I bought the Phomemo M832 Thermal Printer because I can’t stand the monopoly of big printer companies and the way they treat customeds with continualy shrinking ink replacements at extortionate costs and the excellent benefit of thermic or thermal printing is you never need to buy ink again, just the correct paper 🙂
This is the original paper intended for the M832 made by the manufacturer and it’s fantastic! You get 4 rolls in a deceptively small box but when you open it and look the rolls are nice and tightly bound and will get me through potentially many hundreds of A4 letters before needing refill.
The paper is high quality with the mild sheen effect I expect to have and is clean with no marking or smudging on the paper.
It’s excellent quality paper for an excellent quality printer. Buy it simple as that. I’m free from constantly buying ink lol and thats why I love it!
Pros: Great Quality Thermal Paper and Lots of It, Great Value for 4 rolls, arrived next day.
Cons: I honestly cannot think of any. Buy it today 🙂
This pack of 4 rolls of thermal paper arrived in a cardboard box protected with a plastic bag. Each roll is 216mm in width (which is US letter width and therefore wider than your standard A4 size) and is 7 metre long which equates to 25 sheets per roll. However, when I opened the box the four rolls were a bit scuffed and marked from transit so you will need to remove the first page before printing with it.
The paper is not very thick, which is something that I did expect, but it does mean that you need to be more careful when handling the paper. Due to the rolls being tightly wound, the paper is curled, and I found that towards the end of the roll the paper requires flattening after the print but the paper is smooth and you also have the ability to continuously print with this paper.
I have been using this with my thermal printer for inkless prints and the results have been good with crisp clean prints without any risk of smudging. Obviously, it is only possible to create black and white with this thermal paper but it is perfect for printing documents or address labels. Having only used the paper for a relatively short period of time I am unsure of the longevity in terms of fading but there is a quoted longevity of 10 years for the print (I assume if you keep away from heat sources and sunlight).
Priced at 22.99 at the time of reviewing, (with an additional 5% off voucher valid until the 19th February 2024) at the time reviewing, this is good thermal paper but isn’t cheap at 23 pence per page and the first pages were scuffed during transit which isn’t ideal but it can be stored inside the M832 Phomemo printer which is convenient.

Great for printing multiple pages or longer documents.
Prints well with my thermal paper, no problems at all.
And – if I can fit a roll of this paper in my printer case, with my printer, so always paper to hand with the printer now.
