They’re stronger than the usual cotton buds that come with paper sticks. I don’t dig cotton buds down my ear but it’s nice to not have them bend when I’m using them for once.

The tips come with a good amount and thickness of cotton. I can’t feel the edges of the bamboo stick underneath and they’re soft in my ears.

The cotton tips don’t fall or fray off either.

Overall they’re cheaper and better quality than what’s in supermarkets. I’d be happy to recommend.

There’s one trend I don’t like about cotton buds. The sticks are just too soft and I bend them easily.
Not these ones thoughyou’d only break one during use if you’re actively trying to hurt yourself (please don’t?)

In terms of the cotton amount and fit, it’s excellent. Doesn’t come off the tips and the amount and density are great, you don’t feel the bamboo stick through.

Cotton buds have a multitude and diverse range of applications; from cleaning delicate porcelain figures to cleaning your outer ear (it is not advised to clean your inner ear canal or nose).

The paper replacement for the now banned plastic stick cotton buds were OK but the ones I used were prone to bending with even a small amount of pressure.

These bamboo cotton buds have a far sturdier stick, they don’t really bend and will break if you use force.

I thought the cotton bud itself has a slightly rougher texture than my normal cotton buds but this is not a bad thing and it seems not to have any effect on the task in hand. Whatever the case, the cotton tip is very well fixed to the stick.

The packaging is plastic free and can be recycle but the cotton buds themselves are to be disposed of in the household waste (so unfortunately landfill but at least biodegradable).

At 6.99 for 800 buds these are very good value for money. That they have good eco credentials, come in handy packs of 100 and given that they are far more rigid than the flimsy paper sort makes them very difficult to beat for adult use.

This is great value and takes a lot of pressure off getting more periodically thanks to this large pack. They’re very soft so they’re comfortable in the ear. The stick feels sturdy which makes it easier to direct the earbud in my ears. Not bad!

Since plastic cotton buds were banned in October 2020 I think, I used up all the old plastic ones and then started to buy ones made from paper. This is the first time I’ve tried bamboo cotton buds. They’re very good. They’re quite stiff being made from bamboo, as you might expect. This is a plus for me, as they don’t bend, and you can apply more pressure, but they can be snapped in half very easily, so maybe best to keep out of children’s reach as they splinter when broken. They’re great for make up, cleaning outer ears, and household jobs too. The cotton tips are generous. There’s a good amount of cotton on the ends and this makes them feel soft and plump.

They’re biodegradable, sustainable, and the box is recyclable. These are so much better than the plastic sticks and plastic boxes that used to be the only choices available. The only thing I don’t like, is that once I’ve taken one or two out of the little box, I cannot get the lid closed again as the buds inside have moved about. I’d have liked more in one box, rather than a large quantity of little boxes. That aside, I like them a lot.

I’ve tried a few alternatives to single use plastic cotton wool buds. So far, these Re-Gen bamboo cotton buds are the best I’ve come across. The difference is in the strength of the bamboo wood shafts. In this regard, they really have the edge over some others as they’re non-flimsy.

Add to this the softness of the buds and this is a very effective, good quality product that’s also eco-friendly as bamboo is sustainable, regenerating after it’s cut back. The value is excellent too given you’re getting 8 individual packs, each containing 100 cotton wool buds.

Eight boxes as specified, so am sure that the 800 figure is credible. These are stated as 100% plastic free, so can be disposed of and should just biodegrade. They otherwise resemble other paper stem ones you can get, so can be used for various delicate cleaning applications. So use them with care.

This product comes in a plastic bag. You’ll see eight cardboard boxes inside the plastic bag, each containing 100 cotton buds. As of reviewing, this product is priced at 6.99. This equals less than 1p per cotton bud—I do think this price is excellent.

The product is good; it has enough cotton on each side for you to easily clean your ears while not coming loose – the bamboo is good enough quality to hold up for you to clean your ears.

The product is excellent, especially for less than 1p per cotton bud.

I recommend this product, especially for travel; a box is a good enough size and has enough for you to travel with.

5.0 out of 5 stars good quality cotton buds at a good price

This is one of those things that on the one hand – needs to be said – but on the other hand is also kind of obvious. Anyway here goes…essential or obvious, YOU DECIDE!….800 is a LOT of cotton buds! Like, A LOT!

There, now that that’s out of the way I can tell you that the buds arrive loose in cardboard boxes. I say “loose” because there’s no further packaging beyond the cardboard boxes however they are not literally loose in that sense as the boxes are obviously full when they arrive and the buds are all tightly packed together. It’s easy this reviewing lark, you just state the bleedin’ obvious all the time!!! “The boxes are full when they arrive” he says. Eye roll indeed.

But look, in all seriousness there’s not a lot I can say. They’re standard cotton buds. Good decent size, cotton buds at both ends. The only thing you may find different or annoying is the fact I alluded to earlier – because they arrive loose in cardboard boxes as you get through them they’ll be loose and bouncing around inside the cardboard boxes. Perhaps you might want to consider taking them out of the boxes and putting them in a separate container of some sort.

There’s not a lot more to say really. They’re standard buds. You’re paying for the abundance and the environmentally friendly build quality, and they sure are abundant. 800 IS A LOT OF COTTON BUDS!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Abundant to be sure!
