I have a few sets of resistance bands in different sizes now. These are a great addition, and a nice big size. They seem good quality and good resistance levels for me. I think I will get a lot of use out of them.

Of course, they smell a bit like rubber, but I would be rather concerned if they didn’t.

I got these initially because I have a disability and I recently re-joined the gym. These help me immensely when it comes to upper body stretches that are hard to achieve with my nerve damage in one of my arms. These resistance bands allow for a safe way to stretch my arm before light upper body gym workouts. You can tie them to any gym equipment etc and slowly stretch limbs out or like pictured in the product photos. They’re very versatile as there are plenty of way you can use them.

They’re very stretchy but still have that good pull to them. They’re open resistance bands, so there are more ways to use them than you would be able to with closed/infinite resistance bands.

    Reistance bands.

Good value bands, well made, seem strong and resilient. Come in the usual 3 strengths and 3 slightly different shades. The bundle of bands also comes with a little black bag. A very neat arrangement.

    Much loved, used, and recommended.

I like these bands a lot, but the only issue I had with them was when first taking them out of the packaging they had this almost sticky feeling to them. It went away with a few uses so it’s not really a problem – just something I noticed that made me wonder about the quality.

Other than this, they have great flex and tension and it’s been great using these for physio.

I am so pleased with these bands, I love how they have differing resistance which is clearly marked on each of the different coloured bands. It comes with a simply to read booklet with each exercise positions clearly printed.

I recently incorporated these resistance bands into my fitness routine and rehabilitation exercises, and here’s a comprehensive review based on my experience:

    ### **Build Quality and Durability**
The resistance bands are made from high-quality, durable latex material, which feels strong and reliable. They are designed to withstand regular stretching and heavy use without tearing or losing elasticity. The bands are also resistant to snapping, which is crucial for safety during intense workouts or rehabilitation exercises.

    ### **Variety and Versatility**
This set of resistance bands is versatile, suitable for a wide range of activities, including yoga, strength training, physical therapy, and rehab. The bands offer different resistance levels, making them adaptable for various exercises targeting the arms, upper body, and shoulders. They are particularly useful for those at a beginner level or in need of gentle resistance for rehabilitation purposes.

    ### **Ease of Use**
Using these bands is straightforward. They come in different colors or thicknesses to represent varying resistance levels, which is helpful for customizing your workout or rehab routine. The bands are easy to incorporate into a range of exercises, whether you’re performing strength training, stretching, or mobility work. They are also portable, making it easy to use them at home, at the gym, or even while traveling.

    ### **Effectiveness**
The bands are effective in providing the resistance needed for muscle strengthening and stretching. They enhance bodyweight exercises by adding resistance, which can lead to better muscle engagement and overall strength improvement. For physical therapy and rehab, the bands offer controlled resistance that can aid in gentle muscle recovery and flexibility training.

    ### **Comfort and Safety**
The bands are designed to be comfortable and safe to use. They are smooth and don’t pinch or dig into the skin, which helps prevent discomfort during exercises. Additionally, the bands are less likely to snap or break compared to lower-quality alternatives, reducing the risk of injury.

    ### **Portability and Storage**
These bands are lightweight and compact, making them easy to store and transport. They come with a small carrying bag or case, which is convenient for keeping them organized and accessible. This portability makes them ideal for at-home workouts or taking to a fitness class or rehab session.

    ### **Value for Money**
Given their durability, versatility, and effectiveness, these resistance bands offer excellent value for money. The set typically includes multiple bands with different resistance levels, providing a comprehensive tool for various exercises and fitness levels. The affordable price makes them a worthwhile investment for both beginners and experienced users.

    ### **Conclusion**
The resistance bands are a fantastic addition to any workout or rehabilitation routine. They are durable, versatile, and effective for a range of exercises, from yoga and strength training to physical therapy. Their ease of use, portability, and varied resistance levels make them suitable for users of all fitness levels. I highly recommend these bands for their quality, functionality, and overall value.

Back in 2005, I tore the rotator cuff muscles in my right shoulder when I fell from my bike on a diesel spill on a damp roundabout. Recovery to full shoulder function took about 3 yrs. Thereafter my shoulder was fine until about 2 yrs ago, when I overstrained those same muscles again serving hard at squash.

I didn’t bother going to the Dr this time, because my local GP practice had, 1st time round after the bike accident, simply had an x-ray done & when no evidence was found of broken bones, referred me for physio treatment. I couldn’t get more than half an hour’s sleep at any one time without stiffness & pain in my shoulder waking me, needing me to wander around making small movements of my dangling arm (that was all the movement I could manage), or taking a hot bath, to relieve the stiffness. Even when I spoke to the lead Dr in the practice, they continued ignoring my repeatedly telling them that it seemed to me that I had suffered serious injury requiring urgent treatment. Only 3 months later, when visiting my younger son in London & him, after observing my night wanderings, taking me to a local hospital A&E, were the torn muscles & sub-acromial impingement identified. The sub-acromial impingement was relieved by keyhole surgery; the muscle recovery relieved by time (long time), TENS treatment (paid for by the lorry driver’s insurance) & exercise.

This time, I bought a home TENS kit & did the exercises I thought necessary, so recovering full articulation of my shoulder, but there remained one weakness of my shoulder muscles: when my arm was up & back behind my shoulder, I could not push powerfully forwards. I managed to get referred to Wiltshire Council’s Active Health Program & the sports injury specialist at my local gym recommended some specific exercises using resistance bands. Immediately I tried the exercises she recommended, it was obvious that she had precisely identified the muscle group which was still weak, & painful to use.

I ordered this Ayombo Resistance Bands Set. They seemed suitable, despite being advertised as being for women. I avoided the pink set though, preferring the purple set. It was immaterial to me that they were made from Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE), as I have no allergy preventing me from resistance bands made natural rubber/latex.

The Ayombo Resistance Bands have served me well, & my right shoulder muscles are now again functioning as they should.

Well I’m delighted to have joined the cult of owning resistance bands! I should add that the reason I requested them is to recover from an injury, and resistance bands were recommended as part of my healing. These are also marketed as for women but I picked the gender neutral colour of grey which I suppose just makes them resistance bands regardless of gender?

To make it fairly obvious at a glance, your light, medium and heavy hands come in ascending tones of grey to let you know which degree of resistance you’re about to pick up, along with a three circles like a traffic light system of dots. Medium and strong bands are actually quite similarly coloured compared to the lightest, which may cause a mixup issue.

It turns out the borrowed resistance bands I’ve been using before are the lightest possible, and yet the most exhausting! This means I have a way to work up from the stage I’m at, so I’m glad I have two more stages of progress to go.

The band come lightly dusted in chalk, but out of the packaging there’s a build up of static on them causing my arm hairs to stand on end. Thermoplastic elastomer means they don’t have the residing smell of latex afterwards on your hands, as well as being suitable for those with allergies.

Ignore gendered labels and product listings for the same product. These are great for male or female and do the job they need to do just fine.

I recently purchased a set of resistance bands designed for at-home workouts, physical therapy, and yoga, and I’ve been thoroughly impressed with their quality and versatility. As someone who’s relatively new to resistance training, these bands have been a perfect addition to my fitness routine.

These bands have been especially helpful for physical therapy. After a shoulder injury, I used them to gently rebuild strength and flexibility under my therapist’s guidance. The gradual resistance allowed me to perform rehab exercises safely and effectively, making these bands a valuable tool for recovery.

The bands are made from high-quality, durable material that feels sturdy and resilient, even after multiple uses. They’ve held up well through a variety of exercises, maintaining their elasticity without any signs of wear or tear. The material is also comfortable against the skin, which is important for exercises that require the bands to be in direct contact with your arms or legs.

Overall, these resistance bands are an excellent investment for anyone looking to enhance their at-home workouts, start a new fitness routine, or support their physical therapy efforts. They are durable, versatile, and beginner-friendly, making them suitable for a wide range of exercises and fitness levels.

I recently got the Resistance Bands for Women, and they have quickly become an essential part of my fitness routine. These bands are fantastic for beginners and perfect for those looking to engage in physical therapy or at-home workouts.

The first thing I noticed is the high quality of these bands. They are durable and well-made, providing the right amount of resistance for beginner-level exercises. The material feels sturdy yet flexible, ensuring they can withstand regular use without snapping or losing their elasticity.

One of the best features of these bands is their versatility. I’ve been using them for a variety of exercises targeting my arms, upper body, and shoulders. They are incredibly effective for yoga sessions, helping me to deepen my stretches and improve my flexibility. The resistance levels are perfect for someone just starting out or for those in rehab, offering a safe and manageable way to build strength and recover from injuries.

The set comes with three different bands, each providing a different level of resistance. This variety allows me to gradually increase the intensity of my workouts as I get stronger, which is fantastic for progressive training. The bands are also lightweight and portable, making them easy to take with me when I travel or want to exercise outside.

Another aspect I love is how these bands have enhanced my physical therapy routine. After a recent shoulder injury, I needed a gentle yet effective way to regain strength and mobility. These bands have been a lifesaver, offering controlled resistance that helps me perform my rehab exercises with confidence.

Overall, I recommend these Resistance Bands for Women to anyone looking to start their fitness journey, enhance their yoga practice, or incorporate effective rehab exercises into their routine. They are a great value, providing high-quality, versatile, and durable resistance bands that are perfect for beginners and physical therapy. I’m extremely satisfied with my purchase and look forward to continuing my workouts with these fantastic bands!
