Easy to assemble by screwing together the separate sections, and you don’t need to use them all if picking from lower branches. Very effective, catches up to three larger apples at a time, I am able to pick many more apples this way without damaging them and really happy with this gadget. It comes with a green drawstring bag for storage when not in use. Very good.
Should have bought one of these a few years ago. Great for reaching those high branches and the device works really well . It would work for a lot of different fruits I would think. Assembles easily and comes with a handy bag to store it in .
This fruit picker is self assembly but that is really intricate to its use, you can assemble it to the full 4.2m to reach high up your tree or make it smaller for mid to low fruit. It then can store away in the bag provided until the following year.
The quality is good, each pole is well made, smooth and easy to screw to the next. The end pole has a hoop so it can be hung up mid harvest season and used daily. The basket has “teeth” that can pull fruit but it’s also quite sharp so it can cut through small stems to free your chosen fruit. The bag isn’t the deepest but then if it were any deeper you’d be in danger of bruising the fruit that you do harvest as it falls into the bag.
This fruit picker negates the need for a ladder and will pick fruit in hard to reach places. I am satisfied with the quality and would purchase again.
