Very well built! I don’t understand newer Fujis not coming with plastic hot shoe covers… I guess they concluded that having a cover isn’t that important and they are probably right haha!
But I purchased these for my XT50 and the fit is perfect.
A must have for Fujifilm camera owners, this is an excellent hot shoe cover that does a great job at protecting the pins on the top of the camera from damage. It’s made of metal and has a rubber piece on the bottom where the connecting pins on the camera are.
This cover is machined very well and looks great on the camera, I love the nice little homage to the year of Fuji’s founding up top. The one thing I would have liked is for the SmallRig logo to be on the underside or just not there — I just didn’t like looking at it when I picked up the camera when I first got it. You will get used to it and will forget it’s there after a while but I would still prefer that it was smaller or on the underside!
Overall, great product, well worth the $10, and will be a great buy for Fujifilm camera owners!
Actually, 4.5 stars because it says ‘Smallrig’ on the back and I wish it didn’t. Otherwise fit, finish and function are 5*. The black contrasts nicely with the silver X100VI body, at least to my eye.
I have been looking for a replacement for my lost hot shoe cover for months and discovered the SmallRig compatible hot shoe cover for my Fujifilm X-T3 camera.
This is a perfect fit and replacement for my Fuji X-T3! I am very pleased with the aluminum alloy construction, including the supporting silicone pad underneath to protect the hot shoe from scratches and electrical contact! And the tolerance between the camera base and cover is tight and firm – don’t expect it to slide off and get lost anytime soon.
Of course the black color palette does not fully ‘mesh’ or match my silver/black camera color scheme – but I’m the only one who would ever notice the subtle variation, and the color does not take away from the great value of the excellent construction and quality!
