I boiled 3 litres of water and added to a bucket of about 4 litres of cold water and had a rather long, hot shower with sufficient pressure. Not massage pressure but easily enough to give an active adult a very satisfying wash for an even more satisfying price.
USB charging is also a winning feature with long battery life.
Would buy it again. Reccomended.
I go camping for seven days every year in a field in the Lakes and really miss a hot shower. I saw this and took a punt and did not regret it. The water flow is about what you get from a reasonable quality electric shower and is certainly good enough to get you clean. I had a shower every day and some of my friends used it too and the battery stayed on 100% – although the display does seem to work in 25% increments – so there’s plenty of power for a week away on a full charge. It gets through a full bucket of water for a decent shower and you have to keep an eye on it to make sure the pump doesn’t run dry. I thought it was brilliant and I’m sure my dog would appreciate it too next time he decides to have a mud bath.
We have just used this for our camping trip, bought a zip up changing tent for 25. Best thing ive bought off Amazon yet, partner agrees. We used it to shower 5 people and battery still says 100%. On high pressure it will drain a bucket in about 2 min, change the mode to low and this gives very similar pressure but lasts about 5/6min easily. It is powerful enough to rinse off heavy shower gel. Does have three modes and does the job well.
We boiled water using gas to add to a 5L bucket, the shower head has a stop button on it, very useful of you have a limited supply of water.
The pressure is better than a lot of showers in camp sites, shower head coverage is great. This is now our backup plan if campsite showers are unreliablely weak or on/off hot and cold.
I originally purchased a similar cheaper portable shower for use on my horsebox when I’m away camping. This however had a dodgy switch so I had to return it and instead ordered this one.
This is an altogether different animal, much stronger and better build quality, it looks better as well and comes with its own little carry bag (which I love) I tried it out straight away on my dogs and found it very straight forward and easy to use.
I can’t wait to try this on myself and probably my horse when we are away this weekend!
