A nice robust set of towing mirrors that fit my mpv wing mirrors really well.
The fitting is simple and takes a couple of minutes for each side.
The field of view is greatly enhanced and I’m now safer towing my trailer on the road.
Likewise they are easy to remove and store once you reach your destination.
These are well made and a good size. Be aware the pictures the seller shows, could possibly mislead and indicate that it has a vertical post, but it is the retaining strap hanging down. It is not deliberate, just a trick of the camera angle for that shot, see my second picture.
They feel sturdy on, and should they vibrate loose, or get knocked, the retaining strap should prevent it dropping, but I would have liked some sort of locking nuts to help prevent possible vibration from working the clamps from becoming loose.
They seem a reasonable price, considering the quality of the mirrors. These will be used on a classic Land Rover, so I will report back here if I have any problems.
