This Protective Wrap arrives in clear plastic, Tarion branded, packaging.
The wrap itself feels good quality, although thinner than other wraps I have used.
The design I chose was “Doodle”. The design itself is nice, but in truth when the item you are protecting is wrapped, you don’t really get to see much of it.
The 37cm x37cm cloth was only large enough to wrap my Sony A7iv with a pancake lens attached. It was not large enough to wrap the camera with any normal style lens.
Care needs to be taken when wrapping items. The wrap works like Velcro, with one side of the wrap “sticking” to the other side. When wrapping, you therefore need to make sure you do it in such a way that there is enough of the reverse side of the wrap exposed, to stick the other side to it.
The wrap is 100% polyester and can be washed. The washing instructions state to wash cold (30C) in like colours, and DO NOT tumble dry, iron, dry clean or bleach.
In use the warp worked well on the right sized equipment. It offers good protection against your equipment getting squashed/chipped. It is not really thick enough to offer protection against being dropped though.
In conclusion, so long as you are aware of the 37cm x 37cm dimensions, and don’t require something larger, than this is a nice, easy to use protective wrap. (A larger 47cm x 47cm version is also available for those who need it.)

I got this to provide an extra layer of protection for my Nikon kit. Although it’s not big enough to cover all of it, it provides an extra barrier between items when inside my camera bag.
I like the Doodle design, which is fresh and modern and a nice change from the usual plain coloured cloths.
The wrap works well in terms of how it sticks closed when wrapped around items. It’s also versatile as it makes a very good lens cloth as the inner side is extremely soft.
This is a product that I’m happy to have inside my camera bag. Good value for money too.
I wasn’t expecting this to be much good, as a longterm Domke & Tenba wrap user – But boy was I wrong, far more useful, the material used clings very well together. The large size wraps a dslr with ease, will be purchasing a few more for lenses etc.
I have a Sony RX10IV and this fits perfect. Very sticky material so it just clings to itself. Easy to fold up and put in a bag/pocket when not in use, much easier for storing your camera in a bag or when walking around.
While being out on shoots, I have had times where I have just had to throw lenses into the bag without being able to properly organise as the shot that I could of potentially missed was not worth it. This protective wrap would at least allow me to give it some protection before going in the bag.
The material itself is some sort of cross between a car cleaning towel and velcro. The texture isn’t exactly soft but it also isn’t rough. The material feels slightly velvetty and would not scratch a camera. The material has this ability to bond itself to itself, which is why it is like velcro. You are able to stick it together and hold a lens in like a bag, or wrap the lens up and give it protection where it won’t escape, quite clever stuff!
The materials printing is excellent. I got the one with the camera on and the printing is sharp, colourful and quite artistic in this hand drawn style. The only downside is the Tarion logo all over it, however its their product and it makes sense.
I have taken this out on a couple of shoots where I have needed to wrap a lens up to protect it. These have done perfectly, the lenses bumping one another is no longer a thing and they are wrapped securely in place. The only downside I found was that this material will pick up lint/ random bits of debris. Its quite easy to wipe it off but its something to note if you are going for a shoot in the woods.
Overall, I am very happy with this! At just 11.99 (+ a -2 voucher), this is excellent value. This is something that would work as a great gift to a budding photographer or as a gift to yourself to protect your very valueable lenses! Highly recommended! 5/5!
Recently used this to take my camera on a short city trip. Couldnt be happier with it. It stuck to itself incredibly well and protected the camera when it was in my bag. Did not unravel at all.
The cloth feels a little rough so I don’t know if I would use it to clean a lens, but that’s not what I wanted it for.
If I could change anything, it would be to make it just a touch larger. It did wrap around my Mamiya 645, but only just. It’s fine for 35mm cameras, but medium format or SLRs with karger lenses might be a touch harder.
I received this item via the vine programme. Here ia my honest and unbiased review.
This cloth bag for storing and protecting spare lenses is pretty nice.
It certainly does the job and works well to protect my DSLR lens.
It is a nice microfibre material, and i like the feel.
This strikes me as a good idea, and i am surprised I haven’t come across these before.
Just to say this is not a ‘stand alone’ protective cover, you still need to store your camera parts in a proper protective bag or case, by this is definitely a welcome addition to my own DSLR set up.
4 Stars!
This arrives in a clear plastic box with a full colour printed insert. The box measures approx 14cm x 10cm x just under 3cm.
It would be easy to wrap and make a brilliant small gift or stocking filler.
This is machine washable at 30 degrees but not suitable to be tumble dried, ironed or dry cleaned.
The fabric is textured on both sides and acts like a sort of velcro, but not as strong.
When the inner face, which sort of looks like towelling but doesn’t feel like it comes into contact with the outer face, which reminds me of brushed cotton but not quite so soft feeling, they stick to each other a bit.
I picked the Doodle design, but I will be picking up the Eureka one too as it’s nice to have visibly different wraps.
I got the smaller 37cm x 37cm which is big enough for most of my kit, but actually too big for smaller lens sizes.
Did a good job on an averagely sized consumer camera body, but was barely big enough to cover a 10″ tablet so for something like that I’d want the larger size.
I would say the 37cm x 37cm is a good size for an 8″ or less tablet.
Versatile, protective wrap which sort of sticks to itself so you don’t have to faff around finding something to keep it closed.
I wouldn’t trust it to hang kit off though, it’s not that velcro like.
I recently bought a TARION Camera Wrap to add some extra protection to my camera bag. While it might not be the most heavy-duty solution, it’s a good choice for everyday use.
The fabric is soft and feels nice in your hands. It’s a good alternative to bulkier padded cases, especially if you’re tight on space. I like that it comes in various prints, which is a nice touch for personalizing your gear.
The wrap secures with a self-adhesive closure. It seems to hold well for my mid-sized DSLR, but I wouldn’t trust it for a super heavy lens or camera body. It’s more for basic protection against scratches and dust.
Overall, the TARION Camera Wrap is a handy and portable option for photographers who want to add a layer of protection without adding bulk. It’s a good value for the price, especially considering the variety of designs.
