I’ve been using thes mouse for 6 years. I bought 3 of them, the reason is because I drop them and break the little batteries lid. But I will always but this mouse. It’s the best one for gaming and for big hand like mine.

5.0 out of 5 stars The best mouse for gaming!!

    Build Quality 4/5
The ergonomic feel of the mouse seems better than the convention mouse design even when compared to other gaming mouse. However when considering long-term use, the side mouse buttons may not be ideal due to it’s thinness. Furthermore, adding the “Fire button” is questionable as it cannot be bound separately from the left mouse click button.

    Performance and Versatility. 5/5
There seems to be no noticeable delay in response rate and tracking accuracy seems very versatile (use on different surfaces). The function of “sleeping” when not in use is also very energy efficient and thoughtful. The use of this mouse in creative scenarios has not been tested but it seems to work well in office and gaming use making it further versatile.
However, compared to other alternatives in the same price and category, this seems to be a better alternative by a decent margin.

My main issue is that there is sadly no app to control the lighting , accurate DPI or other settings such as ‘angle snapping’ as I’d expected to.

This mouse is super responsive, only a small movement and this mouse’s responsiveness can make all the difference, it feels great, very quality, I found its tracking to work even on a bed, the mouse was great to use, long battery life and easy to use.

Bought as a replacement for my work laptop that had dodgy scrolling.

Decent, splid little mouse with a good feel.

NOTE the side dos NOT light up, regardless of the image!

    Only the scroll wheel illumates.

    Is a good mouse.
Good quality but fits awkwardly in my big hands. usually have no idea what to do with my pinkie as there is little room.
    Has a few connection issues.

    With full-day use (10-18hrs sometimes)
lasts about 2-ish weeks without lights. About a week with.
Could be the batteries we are using but is kind of annoying either way

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersIt’s a good mouse, nice size, weight, look. I just find it kind of annoying that the side back and forth buttons are so backwards, so you have to move your thumb quite a bit to get to them. I also didn’t know that the rapid fire button is essentiality an auto clicker, every 1 click registers as 3, doubling or tripling your CPS

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI’ve been using the mouse for almost a year now, and I am extremely happy with it. I’ll start with my personal favorite thing about it, which is it’s size.
In an age when everything tends to get smaller, most mice out there are cute, petite, and in many occasions almost flat. Not a bad thing on its own, unless your hands are bigger than average. After a long and frustrating search, I ended up buying this one from Tecknet, and I have zero regrets. Here I’d like to point something out:

    Dear Amazon sellers,
Product dimensions, size, whatever you want to call it, is a thing. As much as I appreciate all the information you provide, I would also like to know how big is it. I don’t care if you use the metric, imperial, or an ancient Mesopotamian system of measurement, just tell me how big is it.

Having said that, the mouse works straight out of the box, instantly recognized by Windows (Win 10 in my case), and the dongle has a great range. My PC is connected to the TV in the living room, and I’m sitting roughly 2 meters (~5ft) away. The mouse is very responsive, with no problems, even when tested from 4-5 meters away.
The mouse has a very good accuracy, I usually go for 800, or 1200 DPI which is more than enough for my needs. For video games I mostly use a controller, but for games that require m/k, everything work flawlessly with good movement and pinpoint accuracy.

I tested the mouse on a wooden surface, leather and fabric with no problem whatsoever. With those features and price, you honestly can’t go wrong. If you’re a professional competitive gamer, feel free to buy a $200 mouse, for everyone else, a TECKNET mouse is one of the best purchases you’ll ever make.

This mouse works you can remap 2 of the 3 side buttons which is good and great price the connectivity distance isn’t the greatest as long as the mouse is within 2 feet maximum from the receiver it’s ok as you start getting over a foot away from the receiver the connectivity starts dropping over 2 foot away and the mouse pretty much doesn’t work it will be fine for people at a desk it works really well in that case I can recommend for those people if you want to be at a distance from your pc or whatever you are using then get something else it looks nice feels nice to hold the button clicks are a bit too responsive for my liking as well because it’s easy to accidentally click a button that’s annoying but with time I think you’d get used to it so that doesn’t happen it’s not detrimental it’s only occasionally you click a button you didn’t intend to click some people might appreciate it guess

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersThis is a great, cheap, entry level mouse for gaming. It has 3 side buttons that are ideal for gaming, although one of the side buttons does not ACT like the left mouse click. The mouse is a very quick plug and play mouse, but has some heft. The two double A batteries required don’t make the mouse any lighter. As someone who doesn’t like RGB, it’s nice to be able to turn the mouse on in a ‘no lights’ mode using the on/off switch.
Edit: some excellent customer service and after market support for the products I must say.

*LONG REVIEW BELOW, READ SHORT ANSWER ABOVE IF YOU ARE LAZY / IN A RUSH*

For the price point, this mouse is simply great! The selling points of fast connectivity and an ergonomic feel are entirely true. I’ve been using this mouse for both office work and intense gaming and I can safely say it can play hard at both.

So, is this very wallet friendly mouse worth it? In one word, yes. But allow me to elaborate.

The box when delivered was tiny, and discreet with just simple cardboard. No uneccessary flashy, glossy, computer generated art, which at first made me believe the price was going to be indicative of the product – cheap.

However, I was pleasantly suprised when I unboxed the mouse. It was light, a bit too light for my liking, but the 2 AA batteries made it much more heavier. The LED effect isn’t spectacular by any means, but in a way its simplistic and calm. Plus, for 10 / $13~ you shouldn’t expect the blackpool illuminations (google it).

Upon use the mouse is very ergonomic as claimed, it feels snug under my palm (my hands are rather large, so smaller/even larger hands may or may not prefer it). The buttons are responsive and the instructions are simple. Slap in your AAs, plug in the connector, turn it on either with or without the little blue LED and away you go.

Some VERY minor gripes if I was to knitpick would be the buttons feel a tad cheap (again, to be expected so ignore this really), the DPI settings are a little confusing with the 2 buttons as it doesn’t indicate if i can go higher or lower – its just inference, and also i have yet to find a use for the left side “fire” button.

In conclusion, this mouse, for the price, is simply a no brainer. Would it hold it’s own against a razer mamba or other high end mouse? Well, suprisingly, it wouldn’t be a huge deal off. Those would certainly feel more premium, and light up more for those colour enthusiasts, but at the same time be prepared to shell out 10x – 14x the amount of this.

If you are short for money or simply want to spend as little as possible, you won’t beat this. I would recommend this if you are new to PC Gaming, just bought a computer or simply need to save.

This mouse will do you no wrong while you save for a more premium model, or simply tide you over until it breaks.

5.0 out of 5 stars TeckNet RAPTOR Prime Review

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersWireless Gaming Mouse, TeckNet RAPTOR 4000DPI 2.4G Professional Optical Computer Cordless Gaming Mice with 12 Month Battery Life, 5 DPI Adjustment Levels, 8 Buttons, Nano Receiver, LED Backlight and 30 Million Lifelong Clicks

I was pleasantly surprised by this TeckNet wireless gaming mouse. I’ve gone through plenty of cordless mice before this one and have found them all to be lacking edge while gaming.

This mouse is incredibly responsive, which is where it surprised me the most. No lag, no missed points or dropped connections. It feels very much like a wired mouse that way. One of the issues I’ve had with other wireless mice are how quickly they go to sleep and how long they take to wake up again. None of that here. Not only does it stay ‘alert’ for a long time, when you do click in sleep mode it responds straight away as if it was on the whole time.

In the hand it’s well designed and comfortably suits long sessions. It fits snugly and the buttons are all easily accessible (that sounds obvious, but you’d be surprised how many other brands don’t seem to think this through!). The button click sounds are also very satisfying and the rubber covered scroll wheel is sturdy and feels ready for action. The build quality appears more expensive than it is. The LED lights are a nice touch but aren’t so bright as to be intrusive.

There’s a range of DPI settings you can choose from. I’ve given it a good workout at even its highest setting (4000 DPI) and it remains as responsive.

The mouse worked without any faff, right out the box. I tested it on windows 10 and 7, both of which plugged in and played with no issues whatsoever. The instructions are clear and straightforward and the usb receiver can be found on the underside of the mouse.

Overall, I think you’ll be pushed to find another wireless mouse this sharp for the price.

5.0 out of 5 stars This RAPTOR has bite!

Golden Review Award: 54 From Our UsersThe main reason anyone will be looking at the TeckNet mouse is price; it’s one of the cheapest high DPI wireless mice that is delivered from the UK.

    Like me before buying, you will be wondering two things right now;
    (a) Is this really a 4000DPI mouse, and how good can the wireless be at this price?
    (b) What are they skimping out on to get the price so low?

Well, for (a), yes it really is a 4000DPI mouse, and the wireless is actually very good. Very good mouse movement even at the high DPI, and the connection is dedicated wireless rather than the far slower Bluetooth based cordless mice you used to get at this price point. I’m not sure of the data rate, but it seems fast enough (I’m guessing it will be about 500Hz).

For (b), you don’t get the massive packaging and lots of paper; just the mouse in a brown cardboard box with minimal instructions. The actual body of the TechNet looks the part, but the bits that look like they might be rubber are actually moulded onto the plastic to get the price down.

    For the price though, you can’t complain. There are actually a fair few things to like here;

Firstly, the instructions may be terse, but they have been written by an English speaker (TechNet is actually based in Liverpool). Obviously, that also means the mouse ships from a mainland address rather than from China.

The electronics on the mouse are very good. The biggest accolade you can give to a wireless mouse is that it feels like a wired one, and the TechNet does just that. Zero lag and the wake-up is so short that you don’t notice it (click a mouse button and it comes straight back on). Did I also mention it goes up to 4000DPI? That’s 333DPI to the pound at the current price; bargain! The left-right button and mouse wheel action are also good; solid clicks and good scroll (but no left-right scroll on the wheel — its up-down only).

Wireless mice go to sleep on inactivity, and the wake-up can be jarring (it was the reason I gave up on the first few generations of wireless). The idle time before sleep is reassuringly long and the wake-up-on-click of the TechNet is instantaneous, so no worries there, and actually much better than I expected.

It is also totally plug-and-play on Windows 10; detected immediately when I plugged in the USB dongle, and DPI is controlled from buttons on the mouse.

Oh, and I’ve also been playing Titanfall 2 with it. Slightly less refined on the casing than a more expensive mouse, but no issues in actual gaming.

The only potentially deal breaking issues (if any at this price) are the lack of rubber on the body, and the much cheaper finish on the secondary buttons on the side (which I personally won’t be using: I would have preferred them to be omitted and have rubber on the mouse body).

A lesser downside is the lack of customisation other than the usual default mouse customisations your OS offers. A typical Logitech gaming mouse has customisations to set LED colours and create DPI setpoints. I don’t miss any of this, and certainly would not want to pay x5 as much to have them!

I don’t yet know how long it lasts on the battery; I will update when I know; I’m leaving it constantly on (even when not in use) with the ‘no LED’ setting.

Overall, well worth the cash for the money-conscious, and probably good as a back-up for even the most snobbish gamer.

    Recommended.
