This is a mechanical keyboard that feels surprisingly good in the hands – it’s got some heft to it and feels durable with no flex either. It’s a smaller profiled keyboard so you’re missing out on a row and a few columns of keys, but not all is lost since you can use the “Fn” button in the bottom right in order to access many of these missing keys such as the F1-12 keys and DEL button. It’s not a perfect solution, and I wasn’t able to get the arrow keys to work intuitively, but it’s a good compromise considering how small this keyboard is.
The mechanical switches are blue styled. When depressing them, they don’t have much resistance but a clear travel with a noticable and tactile click. They feel fast and responsive, but it also makes them very sensitive and they are some of the loudest keys that you’ll find on a keyboard. It’s not everyone’s cup of tea, but I find that it works well for me.
The keyboard has colourful backlighting with plenty of modes to choose from, which can be toggled using some of the hotkeys based around the Fn button. I’ve set it up so that it temporarily lights up whatever key you press – it’s a cool effect and works great. You can even adjust the speed of the light modulation as well which is cool. The colours of the backlight isn’t adjustable from what I can find – it’s a rainbow pattern that’s fixed.
The keyboard is also plug-and-play and I had no problems having it work with any of my devices. It’s been great for me, after 6 weeks of use so far as well, and I’m surprised at the quality of this considering its price.
This is a good mechanical keyboard — it feels good when using it because it is mechanical which gives better keystroke action.
Gamers will like the various lighting modes.
It is a small keyboard, omitting the numeric keypad.
At 17.99 (19.99 less a 10% voucher) it seems reasonably priced.
As a gaming key board, this isn’t meant for long writing but to look and feel cool and techy and gamesy and retro.
The mechanism under the keys is snappy and bouncy, the characters are good and appear durable, key strokes are registered without noticeable lag as expected.
US layout, though, so not recommended for work unless your used to it.
Overall a decent gaming keyboard . Looks fab with the retro look and lighting modes.
At the time of writing, the price was 29 with a 10 voucher available, so at 19 it’s fine.
I recently picked up the TECURS Gaming Keyboard, and let me tell you, it’s like the Swiss Army knife of keyboards—if Swiss Army knives were compact, LED-lit, and could help you frag your friends in style. This little 60% UK-layout wonder is perfect for gamers who want to save desk space, or for those of us who just want to avoid the clutter of a full-sized keyboard that feels like it’s trying to take over our entire gaming setup. The blue switches are so clicky that I half-expect them to start a band—seriously, they could rival any percussionist!
The LED backlighting is a nice touch, especially when I’m trying to impress my cat during late-night gaming sessions. Plus, it’s plug-and-play, which means I can connect it faster than I can decide whether to play another round or go to bed (spoiler: I never go to bed). So if you’re looking for a keyboard that’s small enough to fit in your backpack but powerful enough to help you dominate the battlefield, the TECURS Gaming Keyboard is your new best friend—just don’t be surprised if it starts demanding royalties for all the clicks!
Keys were responsive and provided great tactile feedback. Adjustable angle and ergonomic design reduced hand fatigue during long sessions. Lighting modes added a fun element to the gaming setup. Compatible with all devices, making it versatile and reliable.
I work at a school and use a laptop riser and separate keyboard. The keyboard died so I thought I would try this one. There are some pros and cons which is not unexpected at this low price.
It’s fun colours with backlighting and the children enjoy seeing it on my desk.
It’s got a fairly nice keying action and feedback for a low cost mechanical keyboard.
It’s compact for smaller desks.
Some of the cons are that it’s a US layout so I have to double-take when I want to use special characters. It’s also lacking a number pad which is useful at work and I believe gamers often use number pads.
The keys are quite high – some people will like this, others may find it more fatiguing to use.
It seems pretty well made but one of the keys keeps popping off – I can pop it back on but it may go missing one of these days!
Overall it would be a decent gift and is a good price, but it obviously doesn’t really compare to the more expensive, branded gaming keyboard my son uses.
It is a very good keyboard overall. It comes with the necessary tools: Key cap remover, brush and a red colours escape key cap. Some controls are hard to use, for example the arrow keys due to them being merged with other keys. The LEDS have a variety of options to choose from. This is a very good budget keyboard, Used for gaming and school work on a smaller desk and this more compact keyboard is great as it provides more room to move mouse around whilst gaming.
This compact mechanical keyboard is a solid choice for anyone seeking a good value device. Its small size makes it ideal for tight desk setups or even as a travel option. The USB connectivity is reliable, though it would be more convenient if it were wireless. I was particularly impressed with its sturdy keystrokes and firm action, offering the satisfying “”clack”” that many mechanical keyboard users appreciate. However, if you’re in a shared space or working late, the noise might be a bit much.
The LED backlighting offers various effects, though the colours are fixed and some patterns are not very useful. Personally, I’ve found myself just leaving it on a static setting after the initial novelty wore off. Typing and gaming are both smooth experiences, with the keys being responsive and accurate.
It’s perfect for budget-conscious gamers and typists who want a mechanical feel without paying a premium price.
This keyboard has it all. It has LED lighting and it’s mechanical. The LED lighting is great and the keycaps allow the lighting to flood into the key legends. The mechanical switches are not the best – which is a personal opinion. I do not like blue switches as they are too loud and clicky. It’s a wired keyboard however the wire is removable which is a huge plus! It’s a smaller form factor so it leaves a lot of room on my desk and is great for smaller set ups.
This is a nice compact keyboard, great if you don’t want a numpad.
The keys provide lots of feedback, and are very noisy providing it. This is fine if working alone but may cause you issues in an office environment or gaming at night.
Comes with a nice braided USB cable, and the legs adjust to two different angles depending on your preferences.
I’m not massively keen on the font used on the keycaps as I think some of the characters are unclear.
The LEDs are single colour per position, but the effects are generally quite interesting despite this, but I suspect most would change to a fairly plain effect after the novelty has worn off.
As far as as keyboards go there is a lot to choose from, particularly at the budget end of the spectrum. This is a budget gaming keyboard, that manages to lift itself above the usual Temu fare and stand out for being of good quality – particularly for a mechanical device – and offering a great gaming at a budget price. It is easy to type on, when required, but for me it was the key action that sets it apart, being firm without wearing, with a solid keystroke and minimal clatter form the device chassis. The price point does show, and it cannot compete with much more expensive devices, but that’s to be expected. Overall, it is a very good device, that is nice and compact and has great RGB lighting if that is your thing. How did that become a thing, BTW? Answers on a postcard please…. 4 stars.
This is a really nice keyboard with led lights, its wired and comes with a decent length cable usb c, i found it to be very responsive and works well however i didn’t like how loud it is with every press of the keys.
Fitted with my favorite clicky blue switches which feel amazing but may raise eyebrows in the library, this compact mechanical keyboard is decked out in a fresh-looking white and grey colour scheme with no less than nineteen lighting patterns and six brightness intensities and six speeds. Designed primarily for gamers but perfectly useable by anyone who can live with fewer keys and no number pad, mechanical keyboards are more robust, more customisable and more repairable. This keyboard also boasts no ghosting so you can mash away at those keys. The fold-out stands underneath actually have a large or small stand so you can operate with the keyboard flat with its natural 6 degree slope or at eight or twelve degrees.
Connection is wired only which is the only was I’d personally use a gaming keyboard, for latency reasons, and of course, there’s no charge anxiety as your lights are performing a display that would make Jean-Michel Jarre envious. It does sit a tad high for my tastes so I would use a gel wrist rest to ease any strain if gaming for any period of time.
In the box you also get a crumb brush and a Keycap remover and a generously proportioned 6-foot braided cable with a Velcro cable-tidy and a ferrite choke to ward off interference. There’s also a red replacement Keycap for the “Esc” key should you want to switch it.
A really nice product with a reassuring weight and feel to it but still small enough to travel with. Whether you’re an avid gamer, have limited desk space or just like a simple, clean minimalist look this is definitely one to consider.
This is pretty nice for a 35 mechanical keyboard. It doesn’t ghost, it has a decent actuation point, and doesn’t miss letters. It’s made good use of not much space. The inclusion of a keycap puller and brush is a nice touch. The sound is clacky, and reasonably satisfying; if not totally consistent across all keys. Occasional keys come out much creamier than others
LED backlighting is a bit of a shame, and I’ve turned it off. The colours are fixed – you can change the patterns but not the colours – each key will always be the same colour. Most of the patterns are also just pretty rubbish, honestly, and cycling through them takes a long time.
All in I’d say this was pretty good as a backup/travel keyboard, which is it’s main target audience I believe, but I won’t be using it as my main desk keyboard.
