Held many wires, a plug and a couple of power banks. It becomes a little heavy after that and doesn’t quite work with what is needed. Having said that, I didn’t need all the requirements. It’s a good pack.
This is a great little bag for keeping all those leads, plugs and adapters that get lost just before you need them.
Lots of space for leads, hubs and even slim hard drives and if you are travelling it is the perfect pouch to throw into your travel bag.
However, be careful not to overfill it as there is no rigidity but there is a little bit of padding.
The only thing to beware of is that the zips can get trapped and make opening and closing very frustrating. So make sure you take care to organise. Leads fit in quite easily and there are zippered mesh pockets for hubs, memory sticks, card readers, USB converters and whatever odd items you want to fit in.
The only improvement would be if it had a hard shell, otherwise very useful addition to the travel bag or home drawer.
This cable bag is neat and organized. The size of the bag makes it convenient to fit in any backpack.
I always tried to keep my electronic accessories organized but it was a task to find a place for all the spare accessories and cables that I don’t use on a daily basis. Most of the electronics I own can be charged with a type-c charger and all electronics come with a charging cable each. The problem was to store them somewhere I don’t forget in case I need them. The cable bag made this task so easy for me. I can move it anywhere I want, stuff it in a corner of a bag and take them anywhere with me.
I expected tge bag to be a bit bigger in width so that it can fit thicker cables. This is the reason I gave it a 4 star. It can be a problem if you have long and thick cables.
The material looks to be of good quality and very easy to clean. The zipper is smooth and doesn’t get stuck at all. The compartments are of different sizes and some with net and zipper. Cannot comment on durability as I only had it for 2 weeks.
This is another of those products that falls into the category of ‘I didn’t realise I needed that until I saw it on Amazon.’
For years, I’ve been keeping my spare leads (every new gadget or electronic piece of kit comes with its own USB cable now) in a plastic box where they would get tangled up and jangled.
This is a great solution to that problem, making my plastic container redundant.
As well as none elasticated sections for cables on one side of this double sided fabric case, there are two zipped compartments (one of which I use to house a couple of HDMI cables) and two more mesh open pockets, perfect for more leads and an external hard drive.
It’s a good looking design in hard wearing black fabric, decent zips and even a handy wrist strap.
As an IT engineer I’m always fiddling around trying to find that odd console cable, or the weird display port to HDMI adapter that gets lost in the cable drawer. This organiser allows me to pick a selection of odd cables and keep them neatly arranged so I can find them quickly and easily.
It’s not especially premium feeling, but to be honest in the environment I work in it’d get bashed about anyway.
My only gripe is that despite having lots of room inside (don’t expect to fit 6 foot cables in here. It’s more about having short ones to get you out of a situation) the outer zips won’t contain what you can fit inside so you need to be strategic about what you place where. Big HDMI and DP plugs will quickly eat away at the available space.
Otherwise a fantastic idea that I will be using every day from now on!
Everyone has so much electronic stuff nowadays and taking all the cables, chargers and other paraphernalia on holiday is an absolute pain – it’s so easy to forget the one thing that you absolutely need. The statement ‘but I thought you’d packed it’ can spoil the mood in an instant. Something like this is an absolute must.
We already have something similar which is ok, which is exactly the same size but this is so much better. Why?
The real big difference is that there are two separate zipped compartments which means you can store things in a logical and sensible way – maybe one compartment for cables, the other for chargers, cleaning brushes (for camera or razor) etc. You could even put small pots in the zip up inner compartments for jewellery, pills or even your back up credit card. Brilliant.
The whole thing is small enough that it will fit in most hotel room safes so you can keep everything extra secure while you’re on holiday – no more searching for lost cables which means just that little bit less stress when you’re supposed to be enjoying yourself.
This will get so much use and save so much grief. A really good buy.
