What an amazing bit of kit to have! We had thoroughly enjoyed our new Smart Projector. To test it out we just faced it to our lounge wall and with the curtain closed it was great but now we have bought a screen to go with it, it’s amazing! Connection was easy, the self straightening and adjusting is fantastic.
We’ve been able to watch Netflix, Amazon prime, Apple TV, you tube and been able to connect our sky box! We’re in the process of trying to improve the sound quality with hopefully connecting it up to a sound system, haven’t worked it out yet though!
You can purchase specific stands for projectors but our has worked well sitting on a coffee table and due to the self adjustment, it works well.
We are going to test it outside this weekend with a girls night and a singalong chick flick, I will update my review afterwards.

    Summary
A great product, packed with features. Compact device with great clarity and colour depth.

    SMART features
The projector boasts the major streaming services’ apps already built in. They are easy to set up (same as a smart TV).

    Setup
The first lower-priced (300) unit I have seen up close with auto keystone correction and autofocus as soon as the projector is moved. Bluetooth and Wifi connection was also very simple and worked very well. I also noted that 4k streams were handled well and displayed at HD quality. Screen mirroring also worked very well through downloading the recommended app.

    Sound
With only 10W of sound power, it didn’t wow me with the sound quality. However, I was still pleasantly surprised with the general quality here too.

    Speed and responsiveness
The unit definitely has a fine engine (CPU). Switching between apps and inputs is completed in a reasonable time and without stuttering.

    Some Streaming Services not available
I noted that some of the broadcast services’ apps were not available. A small blot for me.

    Value for money
At 300, I think this very good value. It performs better than two of the cheaper smart TVs that I have tried and produces a much larger image.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very 'Smart' Indeed! **Great product**

I’m loving this projector, it’s great lying on my bed and watching movies/TV on the ceiling. It’s perfect for chilling out. I’m a bit of a technophobe, and I have to say that I found the set up pretty easy. I’ve logged into my Netflix, Youtube, Prime and Disney apps. It doesn’t support apps like Iplayer and ITVX, but you can cast them from your phone perfectly easily.
I like that you can adjust the size and angle of the picture, and even though it has auto focus, you can also manually adjust it too.
The only one thing that I would change is that the sound could be better, it needs to be louder.

    4.0 out of 5 stars Love i

This has turned out to be a little cracker. Out of the box it is a lot smaller than the packaging suggests and very simple to set up and use. What has surprised me is the quality of the picture which I find to be very watchable and not just in pitch black. This would make for a great little camping tool and is awesome for sitting outside in the garden with. The price at time of review is 299 and I have seen it at 250. I think for this it is excellent value and overall I am very happy with it.

A nice little projector, reasonably easy to use and supports whatever subscriptions you might have for your television.

My one disappointment is there’s no facility for playing my DVDs which would have been nice.

Still, we can have large screen family movie nights or invite friends round and it’s better than going out to a noisy cinema!

I love it. It is brighter than my TV. The attached image is on a 120″ projector screen outside at night. The addition of Android TV is ideal because projectors often have to be mounted where getting input cables to them is a hassle – with Android TV over WiFi – that’s not an issue. The picture quality is good as is the brightness. Would have hope the remote would have come with batteries but so be it. The only real complaint is that the Bluetooth function is embedded within Android TV – seemingly not the projectior menu itself, which means that a bluetooth sound output isn’t available for the HDMI input because that “bypasses” Android TV, so any games consoles or external sources can’t utilise the Bluetooth functionality. I’ve got around this by using an HDMI audio extractor, but i’d rather not have to seeing Bluetooth is present.

5.0 out of 5 stars I love it.

I set this up in the day time just on my interior wall to see how it worked. (It was very sunny outside and the curtains were open). However, you can see that the picture and letters are still very clearso should be great to use at night or in the dark. The sound quality was good too.

It was really easy to set up. If you have an android I believe you can set it up straight from your phone. I have an iPhone so couldn’t but it was still super easy. The instructions are clear to read and understand and I didn’t find any issues.
I love how compact it is, it’s solid feeling (no flimsy bits that feel fragile) and as it’s just one device it makes it easy to transport. The remote control that comes with it is similar to a fire stick remote so recognisable to use.

It’s faband we are excited for darker nights to use outside to create a movie night for the children when camping (simply peg up a white sheet on a tree/washing line).

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for camping or garden ‘drive in’ movies

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersHi, the high price of 499 with 50% off is a better deal and it’s a projector worth having, the auto focus and the picture quality is good, I have a front facing projector with a screen so it was easy for me to set this up and check it out, compared to mine worth a few grand to this at 250 this is a good deal, the auto focus is so easy and mine doesn’t have that on it, mine seems a faff compared to this, plus you have other tweaks to it, so that’s side of it, this projector is great for almost anywhere with a decent flat surface, the picture quality is good, not as bright as mine but a good decent picture compared to my cheap 100 one I take camping, the sound is just ok and for someone who’s a bit deaf, I found it quiet on full volume, I was even putting strangers things on Netflix through it, the destruction scene but still found it quiet, the other thing is you need to sign into google to access most of the apps but it’s easy enough to do and I flew through it, the remote is simple enough to use but I do feel you need to be pointing at it correctly, overall, it’s a great projector at the 250 price and is well worth it for the quality and ease you get, it’s definitely gonna be my go to for camping or movies outside just for the ease of it and it’s not too bulky compared to my budget one either

Hi just to add Ultimea have reached out to me and understood my concerns about the sound and recommended a soundbar, their Ultimea Nova S50, its a very good soundbar with good sound and base, easy to pair up and i can definitely hear that and its a good set up

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent focus and picture quality, sound is just ok

I’ve wanted to try one of these but they’re always highly expensive. Now when I got a chance to try one out I thought I’d see what these are made of.

Now, first of all, this is less like a projector and more like an actual TV. If you have a smart TV and genuinely just want to watch TV channels through apps this might be really good investment, especially if you have kids or rowdy animals and you’re afraid what will happen to the TV. It comes with HDMI and you can attach a console to it as well, but I’m not sure about the speed and how good it will look. I’d say this is most amazing when used on movies and stuff.

The machine itself comes in a huge box so I was a bit afraid at first, but it’s just extremely well packed… And to be fair, with the price I feel it should. Size is pretty good and comfortable and really good material; no cleap plastic and everything looks sturdy and as it costs; expensive. Fits to many smaller shelves. The setup was also super easy and took just couple minutes.

Now, it looks perfect on a wall no matter how you position it, and same if you have a smooth ceiling. However if you have a popcorn ceiling like I do, this needs to be totally upright so that you won’t have wee shadows. All the pictures have been taken from upwards position against a popcorn wall. You can still see the shapes but you can’t see shadows and I think it looks good.

This also automatically focuses the screen itself as seen in one of my pictures but you can adjust it manually if needed as well. As seen on the video, looks good both lights off and on (though as one would expect, it always looks better when the lights are off)

While the sound sound maybe a bit muddled on my video it’s actually really crisp and clear.

If you want to use this as a TV though it does need an internet for downloading the apps (done by using the remote control and the screen itself) and using the device. It’s like a mini computer rather than just a projector.

The biggest plus is that this is extremely simple to use. So if you have an elder who may not entirely know how to use electronics this has just really simple remote that doesn’t have too many buttons.

My overall opinion is that is this expensive? Yes. But is it worth it if you want to get rid of your TV and use a projector instead. Yes. Considering I paid the same for my TV that I’m using similarly but can’t drag it to a different room to keep watching, this might even be a bit better. I can totally understand the price here.

5.0 out of 5 stars I'm actually impressed
