As another reviewer already posted it makes some really suspicious noises and I don’t want to leave it connected to power as I feel like it’s going to be a fire risk. I’ve had it for 4 months and it charges my HP Elitebook very well
Great little laptop charger. The power pack doesn’t get very hot during the day and the connector fits nice and snug in the laptop, stays secure and charges nice and fast. The light on the connector is useful to know if it is turned on and ready for use and the cable has a good length for both the plug and the connector.
This looks like an official bit of kit, well-constructed and sturdy. Plugging it into my ASUS it reported charging as it would per the charger that came with the laptop, this was to supplement, rather than replace the original charger. It charged the laptop to full capacity fine, although perhaps coincidently the usb-c charging ports have now ceased to function. This may be nothing to do with the charger, so won’t mark it down more than one star.
This is a useful item if you need to replace your charger or just want to have another one to keep in a second location (work etc.). Can’t comment on durability at this point though.
I got this charger as a spare for my HP and Dell laptops because both use USB C port for charging. It works fine with both laptops and charging speed is decent, similar to the genuine charging speed. The leads are long enough and the charger does not overheat when used for hours. Build quality looks good and overall I am satisfied with this product’s performance.
