This garden ornament is from Urban Haven which I have really started to like because their products seem to be well made and come nicely packaged which this one did with the nicely designed box which make this look more expensive than it actually is. This one is of a bunny holding a shepherd’s hook with lantern and at the current price of 9.99 I think this is a decent price for this one.
When you open this you just need to attach the lantern to the hook then slot the hook pole in place, make sure the switch is at the ON position then you are good to go and place it wherever you want it. The design of this let’s you see lot’s of texture of the fur and although it is all one colour it is still easy to see what it is and that he is holding a little spade. I do think this would have been nice with some colour but if this is what you are after then it is a nice little feature to have in the garden, this is a little on the smaller size but a nice size to have on your doorstep etc. Another good product from this brand.
I brought this for my dads garden and he loves it, the light is really bright in the dark and its so cute, its fairly small but all round perfect gift for someone that loves there garden, he put it near his steps so it lights them up more.
I bought this for a child who likes rabbits
It is very cute and o like the fact that it also had a solar lantern
I consider it good value for money and even bought another for my garden as the children like seeing all the little animals in my garde
My other half loves rabbits so this was a must have for our garden and tbh the price isn’t bad at just under 15 at time of review. The little lantern part has a built in solar panel actually inside the lantern so this should help to make the light weather proof and able to withstand the elements.
The rubber on/off switch is placed under the lantern so again should help to keep the lantern weatherproof and last longer.
The actual rabbit ornament however, despite being rather cute as it stands there holding it’s lantern could do with a bit more colour as I think it looks a little bland looking.
None the less the ornament is pretty well made and makes a good addition to our other light up garden ornaments giving the garden extra character.
What I like about the solar powered lantern is it can be taken off the rabbit ornament. This means we don’t necessarily HAVE to place it somewhere that it will get plenty of sunshine. We can place it in shadier areas if we want and just remove the lantern and place that where it’ll get plenty of sunlight to charge it up instead of relocating the whole ornament although this wouldn’t be much of an issue because it’s only made of plastic and not very heavy anyway.
I do hope the light lasts because I’ve often found with other brands of solar light ornaments that they don’t last more than a year due to the components such as the solar panels allowing water in or the batteries giving up inside.
This looks like it’ll change my mind over solar ornaments.
Cute and my other half loves it. She did say she might add some colour to it with some paint!
But then maybe the stone look makes it look better! Mmmm I don’t know now!
