As i have only just got them i can only give 4, as unsure what they perform in fog and snow, but certainly one i recommend, as they do perform well in normal dark roads, maybe not the best bulbs i have had, but i certainly recommend them, but unsure life of as yet, certainly i top class bulb, how we need really do need see at night, hopefully they do cut through fog and snow,,, if lasts good life, cuts through fog and snow, then its 5 stars…
Never in 50+ years of driving have I had a car with such a pathetic dipped beam, which to me seemed to be dangerous as on occasion, on unlit country roads. I had difficulty seeing the road ahead, so decided to try LED bulbs.
The bulbs appear to be of decent quality and were easy to fit without dismantling anything and have made a transformational difference with a bright white light, much brighter than expected. I can now see the road ahead clearly and no-one has flashed me to say they have been dazzled.
There are no dashboard errors, no interference on FM radio and I couldn’t hear the fans, although the bulbs may not have been hot enough for the fans to run.
How long they last, time will only tell, but initial impressions are that these are a great upgrade. Only downside is that I believe they are an MOT fail and so will have to revert back to halogen bulbs for the MOT.
Overall greatly impressed and good value for money. Recommended.
These are very straightforward to fit like normal halogen bulbs. They are far brighter and look alot better than original halogen ones,however sometimes I do get an error message saying “check light left” & “check light right” straight after! it’s very easily cleared, just a push on the steering wheel. More of annoyance really. My car is Insignia sri..2020..fyi…
