I bought this because I need it for an upcoming trip in which I’ll be traveling on a boat. A few months ago everyone I was with on a boat had a drybag, which I had never seen. What a great product. I will use it for my next trip. I really liked that instructions are included to test the dryness of the bag prior to using it. This gives great confidence that bag will do its job.
This dry bag works pretty great! I love that it uses a zipper and not a rollover. It’s a bit small and can only carry like a few phones and keys but it’s perfect if that’s all you need. I took it paddleboarding and fell into the water and it kept all my stuff dry!
I got this dry bag for my keys and phone for family float trip. You must follow the directions otherwise it will leak water in your things will get wet. Granted they would have been a lot wetter but I didn’t read the instructions. It’s not a very big size but it’s perfect for small items like that listed. It’s easy to carry around and it looks sharp. It feels very well made. And I’m sure if I would have read the instructions before using it it would have worked like it was supposed to. But that’s on me.
This drybag is great for taking personal items somewhere they might get wet or dirty (pool, beach, etc). I’ve often enjoyed having this out while kayaking, paddle boarding, or sitting at the beach. Other dry bags often rely on a twist top mechanism for waterproofing, where this solution uses a zipper (the former seems as though it may be more reliable, but the zipper is more convenient). Overall I do love the idea, however this particular product did surprise me with how small it actually was.
The waterproof dry bag with a watertight zipper has been a fantastic companion for my outdoor adventures. The watertight zipper is incredibly reliable, keeping my gear dry even in the wettest conditions. I appreciate the handle strap for easy carrying and the adjustable, detachable shoulder strap for when I need to go hands-free. The design is both functional and durable, making it perfect for everything from kayaking trips to beach outings. I love how versatile it is—whether I’m lugging it to a campsite or stashing it in the trunk of my car, it handles everything with ease.
This dry bag does what it says, it keeps thing dry … although the instructions say it’s water resistant (not water proof), I did a test run with a piece of paper in the bag, sealed it, then submersed it for a few minutes. Mine didn’t leak at all and the paper was dry, but I don’t plan on testing that with anything valuable. Rather, my intended use is as a dry bag attached to my Yeti cooler for keys, phones, etc., while we’re at the beach. The width of this drybag fits well (not perfect, but at $17 it’s way cheaper than the Yeti brand attachment) so I have no complaints about functionality. My only beef is the gaudy logo/design that covers half the face of the bag. I like simple, so the big logo/design is like nails on a chalkboard to my eyeballs … just my preference, not a knock on how the bag functions.
I got this to take on a tubing trip last weekend, and am pleased to report it is indeed waterproof, the zipper held up fine, and it was roomy enough for our phones (4 of us) and my husbands wallet with plenty of space left over. I love the fact the strap is adjustable, I wore it as a cross body and it was handy to be able to adjust to my own body size and personal preference. The sturdy straps are very well attached to the body so no worries about straps seperating. I got the pink bag, and it was super cute to boot! I received several compliments from both people in town before we left to go down the river and other tubers on the water.
My niece recently moved in with me. And we live on an island and our I have it scuba divers. She now has a pouch bag that keeps her necessities and phone dry. The zipper seems to work well however the carrying strap could be buffed up a little as it is very basic it’s the perfect size for my niece and while the pictures are a little deceiving, the bag is smaller that, it’s the perfect size to keep your phone wallet sunglasses and other small items safe. We tested it in the sink and it is dryproof at the current price of 16.99 with a $2 off coupon it is a solid purchase. Great find
When I first opened the package I was doubtful when I saw this didn’t have the classic waterproof bag seal. The note inside said that the bag was water resistant instead of waterproof. I was surprised when I saw how well the zipper looked like it sealed so I put it to the test. First I filled the bag with air and pushed down lightly. The air did not leak.
The instructions said to put a tissue in the bag and run water over it for 2 minutes and if it leaked to contact them and they would resolve the issue. That sounded promising. so I gave it a try. I really focused the running water on the zipper and was pleasantly surprised to have the tissue come out dry. I would not bring this somewhere where you expect the bag to be completely submerged. However, I can say with confidence that this will keep your items dry if you are going to be splashed or get pretty wet intermittently. Great for boating or for parks with splash rides.
The design is really fun. We got the yellow so it would be easily visible if it fell in the water. I also like the two different options for handles- you can wear it slug over your shoulder or carry it in your hands by the handle.
I was skeptical of this bag. all of the other dry bags I have use a fold-top system to keep it sealed, so a “water proof” zipper didn’t seem like it would work. and I am glad to say that I was wrong. Put some paper in this bag, ran it under the tap, no issue. Took it out kayaking and dunked it in the lake, no issue.
Now, it may not stay dry if sitting in water for a long time, I haven’t tested that yet. but so far, this is perfect to stick some keys and your phone in. It’s not super large, more like a small/medium sized purse. it comes with some straps to help secure it/hook it in.
I have to say, I was a little skeptical of the claims on this bag once I saw a zipper as opposed to that press seal, similar to what you might see on a food storage bag. I don’t know what the technology is they are able to make this zipper so watertight, but it works!!! As a person who loves water activities in the summer, I’m am so pleased to have found this item. I have a bunch of varied waterproof plastic cases with lanyards. They are all big enough for my cell phone and flat stuff, like money, drivers license and a credit card, but not much more than that. I love how roomy this bag is. I was able to carry some extras, like a pair of sunglasses, eye drops and a rescue inhaler. The bag is lightweight and very cute! Instead of the standard neck lanyard, it comes with 2 strap options, so you can wear it as a wristlet or a cross body. I chose to wear it as a cross body for water sports. This bag is great!
This is an ok bag to use at the beach.
It has a very strong plastic smell that I hope will dissipate over time.
It is a little smaller than I though it would be, but still a nice size to keep things like your wallet, keys and phone dry.
I choose the pink one, but after seeing it in person, I wish I had gotten the black one instead.
Overall, it does its job!
I love this bag! I got it in blue to match one of my boats. I used to put all my purse items (car keys, wallet, etc.) in a roll-top dry bag and then after kayaking I’d have to take everything out and transfer them to my purse. Some purses I would never want to take kayaking. It will be great to pack all my purse items in this dry bag for a day of kayaking, store them onboard my kayak and then when I’m done, I can “wear” the bag like any crossbody purse and be comfortable and boating/beach fashionable. Also great for sailing and other boating trips.
Inside the bag are instructions to place a tissue paper in the bag and zip it well, and then run the zipper area under water to see it the tissue gets wet. I did this and there was zero leakage. The seller says if there is water that seeps in to contact them via Amazon mail. I highly recommend this product!
