    PROS
    -solid construction
-good signal to my two external monitors
-suitable for both PC and Macs (it’s also compatible with several other operating systems, that I don’t have and therefore can’t test)

    CONS
-surprised it’s not plug-and-play (my other wavlink device, a dock with 3 HDMI outputs, is plug-and-play)
-not suitable for gamers (only 60Hz signal), but good for the office
-a bit pricey, when compared to other similar no-name offerings here on Amazon

    MY STAR RATINGS:
    1* substandard, mostly cons
2** barely acceptable, cons outweigh the pros
3*** meets the basic requirements, cons balance the pros
4**** good product, pros outweigh the cons
5***** exceptional, all (or almost all) pros

For situations where you’ve run out of video card connectors and don’t have the option of USB-C DP, these adapters work rather well. This is far from the cheapest option out there, but for driving two 4K displays from USB data, that is to be expected.

This is a very handy bit of kit. Its built well, with a stylish brushed metal casing and heavy duty cable. Its nice and compact and easy to store away in a laptop bag when not in use. It allows you to easily hook up extra screens to extend your work flow. Really handy if you just have a laptop with a smaller screen. It supports up to 4k at 60hz, so ideal for connecting up a TV or two. I’m very happy with it.

Needed a solution for using two screens on the laptop, but without taking up much desk space. This was a great solution. Setting up was basically plug and play. Just needed to change display settings so the layout was as I wanted it. Picture quality is great with no issues whatsoever. Build quality on the unit is decent, and it does take up very little room on a desk.

I bought this adapter to connect multiple monitors to my computer, and it generally does the job. The dual 4K HDMI output is a nice feature, providing good image quality for my setup. It works well with both Windows and Mac systems, though it can sometimes be a bit temperamental with certain configurations. The build quality is decent, but the adapter can get warm during extended use. Overall, it’s a practical solution for extending display options, but it might require some patience for optimal performance.

What a great little product, I’ve broken the 2 screen barrier with this little device and now have 3 completely different desktops which when I’m in my work office makes working so much easier. I’m a web developer and being able to have image editing software on one screen, code and programming on another and an open browser on the third is so sweet!

For what I need it works flawlessly, its snappy and there is literally no noticeable lag at all, I only use the entry level 8GB and 256GB spec of the M1 Air too, so I’d say to anyone who needs dual monitors or even 3 if you use the laptop screen the same as I do will just love this, yes it seems expensive but honestly once you have installed the display port drivers, plugged the monitors into the Wavlink and then plugged that into the MacBook, one quick reboot and everything just worked, highly recommended bit of kit.
