I plugged into the data port on a 2023 Honda with AA with the cable provided, but disappointed by the sound quality on my upgraded Bose car sound system compared to a cable.
Shame since it’s so much neater as a solution – will keep it but may end up not being used for longer journeys when I would prefer to make full use of my sound system.
Not sure if this is representative of the technology or the low price point.

Quick set up, easy to use. Does what it says. Works well, relatively cheap compared to others. Compact with an extension USB incase your car has hard to reach usbs.

Came with a usb extender cable if your car has a bit of a short space. Impressed to see both USB A and USB C extenders in the box. Works as intended.

So much easier than having to plug my lead in every time. After a few settings adjustments, works like a dream.bit dearer than others ,but lights up to say working. And look less generic.

This little gizmo takes all the hassle out of accessing Car play. Just plug it in, connect it to your phone by bluetooth and away you go! It saves having to use a charger cable that gets in the way of your driving experience.

I needed a dongle that was compact enough for my VW car, the car connection port is in an awkward position, I did use a lead before but the connection always broke, leaving me to attempt to position my phone at different angles. Anyway I opted for this dongle, it’s the size of a cigarette lighter and super light, but still sturdy, the dongle came with various connections, so compatible with my android Samsung phone, the product comes with a simple set up card, step by step help including troubleshooting page and a contact email for further assistance, so the main requirement was a simple setup and a product that works, it’s a yes on both and has worked without issue on a test run, I’m happy with the product and it does what it’s meant to do. The transfer to my car onscreen panel simple. via Bluetooth.
